A list of puns related to "Madison Square Garden"
>A New York judge tossed on Friday an attempt by the owners of Madison Square Garden and other entities to access $1. 8 billion from policies for losses caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, finding that their coverage is limited to $1 million under a communicable diseases provision. New York County Supreme Court Justice Joel M. Cohen rendered his decision from the bench shortly after hearing oral arguments on Factory Mutual Insurance Co. 's motion for partial judgment on the pleadings. In his two-page order, the judge permanently dismissed the policyholders' claims for breach of contract and bad faith. I can't stress enough what a hyped-up moment this was. WWE had been airing inspirational vignettes for months, documenting Triple H's long road to recovery and promoting his eventual return. The videos were set to U2, a band whose rights fees are notoriously on the high end, so WWE was clearly intent on making the return feel as big as possible.
On top of that, the fans were craving a return to normalcy. The previous 9 months had marked one of the sharpest creative declines in WWE history: Austin went heel, Rock went to Hollywood, and the Invasion angle proved to be perhaps the single biggest disappointment in the history of American pro wrestling.
Beyond that, 9/11 had occurred just four months prior. Americans were yearning for a return to a more simple time, and wrestling fans were no exception. I can speak for a lot of folks when I say it was hard to "enjoy" much of anything in the months after that event, WWF television included.
The return of Triple H seemingly marked a restoration: a return to a time before the Invasion angle, when wrestling was still fun. A reminder of a time when trauma and fear didn't pervade the air, where people's anger was directed not toward national catastrophes, but toward a sledgehammer-wielding psychopath on their TV set.
Sure, people were happy to see Triple H again. But the enthusiasm you see in that crowd has a deeper story: for one brief moment, it was early 2001 again. Monday Night Raw was fun, life was good, and it seemed like everything just might be okay.

>Warriors coach Steve Kerr says he expects "everybody" to play now Monday at Indiana after Golden State had weighed a night of rest for Stephen Curry before Tuesday's second half of a back-to-back at Madison Square Garden. "But we'll see," Kerr said.
I'm almost certain Steph wants to break the record at MSG. (He needs 7 more 3PM to break it)
Also, by "everybody", Kerr probably means that everybody on the Warriors that is healthy will be active for the game, not that every single player on the Warriors roster will receive minutes.
It would have ended the show on a chefs kiss.

>Sources: Nuggets guard Austin Rivers has entered health and safety protocols and is expected to miss several games, including tonight's game vs. Orlando. Another loss to the Denver lineup, now without Rivers, Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr.
>The Nuggets are also without guard PJ Dozier (ACL) for the rest of the season. Tonight, Denver will play the second contest on their seven-game road trip.
Does anyone think there's a chance these would be cancelled or rescheduled? Omicron is still a bitch and being in a space that big (even with vax mandates) makes me a little leery.
