A list of puns related to "Viking Cruises"
I have a viking cruise travel voucher that I tried getting my money back for but to no avail. Does anyone know of a place to try and sell them?
Hello all - I am taking a Viking River Cruise next year through Germany with my mother; I do not require a wheelchair, but using a mobility electric scooter to help me reduce the walking on the excursions would be a huge help so that I can see more. Otherwise relying on my feet and my cane, I will have to miss more.
Viking told me that a motorized wheelchair/scooter cannot be brought on board, period. Not even a folding one. I found at least one website for rentals of such items but I am not sure how easily a day rental of such a thing can be done in Germany. I am trying to contact that company, but thought I would also ask in case others have had experience.
Alternatively, if anyone has done the Rhine 8-day cruise and can give me any insight on how strenuous these excursions are and what I can expect, that would also help me plan.
just started looking at this ( lux/premium line) that travels for 120~170 days and cost seems to be from $120K to $250K for two ppl. and also finding that one needs to book 1.5~2 years in adv to get the rooms one wants. (so thinking 2023 or 2024)
anyone has something similar? any thoughts and any views on the preferred cruise line?
I am also looking to layer the following in the next 5 years as I fully move into RE part of FIRE.
will also cross post in r/FATTravel
EDIT: I am getting some replies with ANTI-cruise ( and maybe anti-boomer? ). So, let me provide more detail. I plan to do slow travel ( on my own), where I can plan few days in advance and travel say 3 months Spain/France/Italy. (See same for US and SE Asia) where I think I can manage and safe own my own. (with English and broken Spanish)
The part I don't like about travel is actually flying/moving from place to place ( and checking in) 2023 World Cruise of Iconic Cities & Natural Marvels | Crystal (crystalcruises.com) as an example solves a lot of that for us.
Check out the the map/itinerary around pacific ocean and Africa/Indonesia. It would be very hard to have similar experience in slow travel, unless I chart my own yacht. You will also see that the cruise doesn't hit any main EU cities (e.g. France, UK. Germany, which I will do slow travel)
