This is the Facultad de Medicina of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). Every year, thousands of students, both local and foreigners, graduate from one of the several Faculties of the UBA with zero debt since public education is a right in Argentina. What do you think?

[WP] Human diplomats are chosen for being calm and cool headed, and thus humans gave off an impression of a calm species. Transfer students are quickly proven wrong of that assumption when they are sent to a university in Buenos Aires and get to hear a heated shouting match.

"this popemobile is much more than a cynical PR move from Toyota, and seems to have been a choice that was heavily influenced by Francis himself. Moving to Buenos Aires from the US in a month for university and trying to build a step-by-step to-do list of what exactly I'll need to do when I get there.
This is a rather specific question but I'm wondering anyone has gone through this process themselves or knows anyone who has. I've booked my plane ticket for October 29th and will arrive on October 30th. I'm going to be registering with the Ciclo BΓ‘sico ComΓΊn, the compulsory first-year faculty at the University of Buenos Aires, but as a foreigner there's a lot of bureuacracy to wade through and a lot of documents to get officialized and co-officialized, and then offialized again for good measure. It's a complex process and try as I might I'm having trouble understanding exactly what needs to happen for things to move along as smoothly as possible. I grow increasingly nervous as the date of my departure nears. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
If it helps, here's a shamefully organized document listing some links to pertinent information and processes necessary to obtain some of the documentation I need (Documento Nacional de Identidad, student visa, etc). Hopefully someone can make sense of the convoluted whole better than I can.
