A list of puns related to "Trinity College (Connecticut)"
I have applied ED1, but I did not get my decision yet.:")
Hi everyone, just wondering if you guys know when Connecticut College and Trinity College (Hartford) decision dates? They both say in late March. Thank you!
Also what about NYU? Big reach? My Father got his Masters there so I'm kind of a legacy.
I am a white male homeschooled student from Florida.
GPA: 3.8 UW
ACT: 29 (average for some of these schools, low for others)
I have taken many courses through dual enrollment, getting A's in all except one (B+).
I took higher level math courses (Calc in sophomore year).
I've taken interesting classes, taking advantage of my homeschooled status(e.g. Python programming, Astronomy, Philosophy, Ethics).
My ECs:
Volunteer at local animal shelter with 100+ hours.
Accepted to two different competitive internships at a sea turtle hospital, spent over 115+ hours over the summer.
Tae Kwon Do for 13 years, currently have my 2nd degree black belt. I have been an assistant teacher to the younger classes for the past year.
Hapkido for 2 years.
Part of my local highschool's varsity bowling team for the past two seasons. Team captain the most recent season. (I was allowed to participate since I'm in the zone for the school). (I submitted a video of me bowling)
I have won mutiple tournaments and qualified for state tournaments in bowling.
I have a job at a local ice cream shop that I've held for the past 4 months or so.
I've built computers since around freshman year. I listed this as a hobby.
My letter of recommendations are pretty good, two from my dual enrollment professors (english, philosphy). One from my past physics teacher. A couple others from my bowling coach and Tae Kwon Do teacher. 7.5-8/10 probably.
My Essay is good in my opinion. Since I've homeschooled I've traveled the world with my dad. I tried to steer clear of the cliche "Seeing different cultures changed who I am as a person," and made it more personal. 8/10.
My supp essays are good as well for those who require them, 7.5-8/10 ish.
Any help is appreciated, as well as suggested schools that aren't on my list. Thank you so much!
Just got the email, Accepted with a $20,000 year scholarship! I was expecting nothing, Iโm giddy. Good luck to yโall ๐ค๐ป
How well respected is it? How is the campus and student life?
So apparently the Trinity College building up on Lynedoch Street (it's yon cluster of towers on the hill next to Kelvingrove Park) has been evacuated thanks to Storm Malki. There's "fracturing" of the stonework on the West Tower - the same tower that saw masonry come loose last year. And, before anyone claims it's the council's responsibility, it's a privately-owned building.
It'd be awful if the Tower fell, mind you. It's as much a part of the West End's landscape as the University belltower or that godawful hideous library "thing" at the University of Glasgow. But shall I let you lot in on a secret?
About fifteen years ago, I was working for a company doing property research for the Scottish property market. Trinity came up a lot in those days - back in the early 2000s it seemed property would change hands in that building on a fairly regular basis. And one thing that I remember, very distinctly, was a series of building notices served on the building by City of Glasgow council and then Glasgow City Council. None of them were ever resolved satisfactorily. I once nearly got myself fired for refusing to remove a notice that mentioned poor maintenance of the structure of the building (the general rule was that if the notice was over five years old, then we'd remove it. I remember the notice had been served four years and nine months earlier). Basically - they've known about it for years and no one has done any major work on it. Oh, sure, patch it up here and there. Hope for the best...
In case anyone's wondering where the people have been evacuated to, there's an evacuation centre down at Kelvin Hall. Like I said though - hope it doesn't come to the worst, but, my God, the factor is going to be utterly destroyed over this...

My fiancรฉ and I were just curious as to why they were able to use the same logos. Iโm just thinking in terms of copyrights.

Hello! I am a student at a magnet school in Texas and was hoping to get some insight into whether or not I could get into the aforementioned universities. Thank you!! :)
Let me know what you think! Thank you.
Hey! I applied last week and now Iโm super nervous about this for some reason. I didnโt apply anywhere else (well, except for the regular program at Trinity) and I have no idea honestly how many people I have to beat to get in. On their website it said they had 250 applicants in total last year and it seems ok (I think itโs not a very popular program), but Iโm an international. I really want to get in, but hey, itโs so hard to predict at this point. Anyone else here, who applied this year or maybe have any other cool information about this program?
Hi!
Is anyone here applying for this program? if yes I am creating a discord group for the applicants so lmk if you want to join!
Also are here any accepted applicants? I have couple of questions about the program, and would love to chat with someone
Any impressions about Trinity college?
