what was the first documented person to use the triangle in a martial arts?
was it in japanese judo? were cavemen doing it?
my favorite move by far of course, but also not obvious so i cant see a caveman figuring out.
Basically the title, I was wondering how you would call that technique as I'm looking for some tutorials on it.
(There seems to be some confusion, let me reiterate I donβt condone a flying triangle, or a triangle in most circumstances on the street lol)
Recently had a friendly debate on a different thread when someone said they would try a triangle during a fight (a flying triangle at that). Now my firm opinion is the only way Iβm going for a triangle is if Iβm on my back and I can secure the leg immediately after securing the triangle. I feel the only outcome otherwise is you get the back of your skull smashed in when you get picked up and dropped on your head. Curious on others opinionsβ¦
I was doing groundwork when my partner got a triangle choke on me. Held on for as long as I could before I tapped. When he released, felt some pressure behind my eye, like its bulging out a little?
Rubbed it till my eye felt normal and continued. Now it looks like I got punched in the face. Anyone had experiences like this?
