A list of puns related to "Tim Samaras"
I was wondering if someone ever got to purchase one of Tim Samara's "Driven by passion" DVD where he documented his stormchases. I admired him since I was 8 and after reading "The man who caught the storm", i got into a nostalgia trip trough my old NatGeo magazines, and wanted to see if someone had some of his media laying around

Hello r/stormchasing. I dont know how many frequent this sub reddit however Iβm going to take this oppurtunity to remember Tim. My name is Collin Woodson, Iβm 15 years old, and Tim Samaras was my Great Uncle. Iβm gonna just take this moment to share with you guys a story of the Time I shared breakfast with him In the Second Grade in a mcdonalds In Bellevue Nebraska (This happened sometime in 2011, the date is a little hazy.)
Like I said previously, This all happened In Bellevue Nebraska. Now, Tim (As far as Iβm aware) lived in Colorado, and my mother (his niece) actually asked him to come up to Bellevue and catch up, and to meet me, because I really wanted to meet him. So it was arranged, On a weekday, at ~8:00 a:m I met him and it was incredible. I got like pancakes or something and He also i think got pancakes. Anyways, after all was said and done, me, my brother, my twin sister, my grandfather, and of course, Tim and his wife Kathy took a picture. And that was that, we went our seperate ways, and that was the first and last time I saw him.
I dont know how impactful it was to him and kathy or anyone else but that was an incredible experience, because you also have to remember I saw him on TV before this, which is crazy to see someone from the television in person when your like 6 or 7years old.
Fast forward roughly 3-4 years later, I was now living in Puerto Rico as my father is millitary and got stationed from Bellevue to Puerto Rico. It was June 1st around 9 pm, and I walk outside to see my mom sitting their crying. My siblings must have heard and they came outside (My Dad was asleep) and I wont forget what she said. She just said βDo you guys remember uncle tim?β(Her POV, again Her uncle, my Great Uncle) and at that moment, as young as I was i knew exactly what she was going to say next. Even though I couldnt totally grasp the seriousness of the situation (I was only one who wasnt crying) but it was still saddening. I still think about that day in mcdonalds with my great uncle Tim from time to time, it was amazing.
The main reason Iβm recollecting this on some random subreddit is because its just good to share good stories. I dont know if anyone here would have known tim personally but, If so let me know, That would be so awesome.
Here is the picture we took. I am The bottom right in the green shirt, with my twin sister next to me, my big brother in blue to the left, my grandpa next to him, and to the right is
... keep reading on reddit β‘A few years ago I was watching a series based on tornado chasing, and there was an episode where Tim Samaras's death was broken to the rest of the group. I'm pretty sure it was Tornado Chasers, but the episode I'd have thought it was in, Nemesis 1/2, doesn't seem to broach it. Can anyone remember which episode this might have been?

The Frisson kicked in right at the end for me, a little bit sad but induced the shudders in me.
