A list of puns related to "The Moon & Antarctica"
And we're back with my favorite MM album and one of my all-time favorites! This one is gonna be tough. Just remember that everyone has different favorites, and there's nothing wrong with loving a song that goes out early! That said, this one is probably going to hurt a little hahaha I don't even know what I would vote out first.

I was put on to Modest by a dear friend of mine near the end of high school (summer 2014). Iβm sure I wouldβve eventually discovered them but to this day Iβm so thankful it happened when it did. That being said, I fell in love with the sound of 3rd Planet. Some kids who went to my rival high school made parody rap and covered the beginning part of 3rd planet. I originally thought they made it up themselves but then was put on to Modest and heard their album Moon & Antarctica first. It sounded familiar as hell and I finally put two and two together. Either way, I fell in love with the album and then moved to The Lonesome Crowded West. Became obsessed with this album especially after watching the pitchfork documentary (if you havenβt seen it, definitely watch). My library has shifted from Modest since then but Iβll still always hold a place for them in my heart and can jam out to them any time. I mainly started this post to ask about the album Moon & Antarctica but ended up blabbering on about my discovery of and love for them. As much of a fan as I am, I never realized that the album was reissued in 2004 because Brock wasnβt satisfied. I always recall seeing the other blue-ish album cover, too and now itβs the two hands shaking. The old cover fit well with the sound of the album IMO. I donβt remember this change at all, itβs sort of like the Mandela effect. I almost kind of wish that both versions were on Spotify but was mainly wondering where I can conveniently listen to the 2000 version. Iβve heard that people are indifferent about the reissue but it seems like thatβs all that is available? Iβm still shocked Iβve never realized this until now but Iβd appreciate any feedback yβall might have. Keep on rocking in the free world.
TL;DR - Wasnβt aware that βThe Moon & Antarcticaβ had a reissue in 2004 due to Isaac Brock not being satisfied. Old cover art was also replaced. Wondering where I can conveniently listen to the original to compare with the reissue. Looking for any insight/feedback.
Does anyone know which vinyl editions (if any) of The Moon & Antarctica have the extended outros on Tiny Cities Made Of Ashes and A Different City? Discogs hasnβt been much help in determining
The Stars Are Projectors got a bit annihilated.
Here come the finals!

So, this June is the 20th anniversary of TM&A. What are the chances that MM maybe reissue the record with demos / bsides etc? Or maybe even just a 20th Anniversary tour playing the whole album? It would be amazing if they did something like this.
Next time on MM ...
#MICE IN SPAAAAACCCEEEEEE
EDIT: and also start my own antarctic country/moon county
I got banned for bringing attention to this in a post. They don't even have a write up on the NWO there in the sidebar section. The fuck? Are people there that clueless?
I think maybe only 20% there are able to connect the dots. The rest see "conspiracies" and the culture as this fun quirky sub culture where they can talk about fantasy shit. They are not able to understand that 9/11, the Boston bombing, elite Pedophiilia, police militarization, and the Federal reserve, are all carried out by the same group of people working towards the goal of a global takeover and world domination; the New World Order.
The globalist themselves use this term quite often. They admit it in their own memoirs and publications that they are working toward this goal. Is there a "conspiracy" to cause confusion amongst new theorists and push them away from seeing the bigger picture?
Welcome back /r/ModestMouse! This time the walls come crumbling down with Paper Thin Walls losing out to Dark Center and Lives.
Here's this week's poll.

I will try my best to get them posted on time, but please forgive me if I am late. Now i can finally hear the album on Spotify. Dont know how long i have been able to, but it's nice.

It has the reissue cover so I was wondering if it was the original mixing or the 2004 mixing.
The Moon & Antarctica is such an amazing album. It has some of my favorite Isaac-isms and lyrics of all time.
My favorite tracks are 3rd Planet, Perfect Disguise, A Different City, The Cold Part, The Stars are Projectors, Wild Pack of Family Dogs, I Came as a Rat, Life Like Weeds, Lives, and What People Are Made Of.
For top 3 I'll go:
1: Lives
2: Life Like Weeds
3: Perfect Disguise
