A list of puns related to "The Magic School Bus (TV series)"
Hey all. I'm looking for an older tv show from the 90s, possibly late 80s, about a group of kids that solve mysteries. It's a live action tv show, episodical, maybe released every week? Or possibly was just a VHS thing for schools, not sure if it was ever aired on TV it just seemed like it would be. Very Bill Nye meets Goosebumps meets Magic School Bus. I don't know if it was based off a book series or anything like that.
From what I can remember, (I was shown these in 2005) it was a group of kids that went on an adventure of sorts and solved mysteries. It had "Scooby Doo" vibes but more in a Nancy Drew meets science fiction way. I just remember the poor graphics (think Goosebumps) and 90s style clothes like similar shows of the era. I remember thinking in 2005 that the TV show seemed dated but was easily overlooked. Classic 90s fashion. The intro music was kinda creepy-ish too.
I've tried searching 90s live action TV shows for kids but I can't seem to find it. I also can't remember any specific characters. I feel like there were 4 to 5 kids, mostly white kids but with that 1 "diversity" role. And I feel like they discovered these mysteries through books or a role model of some sort but again, can't remember.
Any help is appreciated in finding this! Thanks in advance!
Edit: I also feel like they sort of enter another world/dimension when they go on these adventures, hopefully that helps.
Edit 2: I THINK IT'S BEEN FOUND! "Read All About It" - I don't recognize any of the episodes but the intro song is REALLY resonating with me and bringing back a feeling of nostalgia so I'm pretty sure that's it!! Thank you everyone for helping me look for this! Thanks to u/blewdleflewdle for finding it!
I think the show is about her miraculously regaining her sight and trying to reintegrate as an older teen in America. If I'm thinking of the same show, there's a young male African American private detective who plays an important role in a later season of the show. I can clearly see him in his apartment late at night smoking cigarettes while trying to piece together clues. There's a strange church-like building with a mysterious window.
When taking a look at Cole Anthony this season, it's easy to see just how much he's progressed from his rookie season; however, he's also giving Orlando something that they've been lacking since the Dwight Howard glory days...an elite deep-ball shooter.
Cole Anthony currently leads the league in pull-up threes, averaging almost 50% from that area (48.4% to be exact). Not only can the kid shoot from long range, but his hops have been nothing short of impressive as well. If Cole continues to shine with Fultz and Isaac returning soon, this Orlando team sure could shock the Eastern Conference in the next year or two.
Cole Anthony's stat comparison over his first two season:
Year | Minutes Played | Points | Rebounds | Assists | Shooting Clips |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
2020-2021: | 27.1 | 12.9 | 4.7 | 4.1 | 39/33/83 |
2021-2022: | 34.1 | 20.2 | 7.1 | 5.2 | 45/41/84 |
Will there be anything in vibes of Yu-Gi-Oh, Cardfight Vanguard and Buddyfight? Or something original close to those?
this is completely unacceptable, i expect a modicum of professionalism in my let's play content, especially from oneyplays and a massive oversight like this is just too big to ignore. this is the end of days for the channel, im afraid. twas a good ride.
