The floor of the fossil section of the museum appears to be a phylogenetic tree (a chart showing divergences in evolution of species over time). As a paleontology dork, this is so exciting! Hopefully the museum will be super educational in ACNH

Why the sudden rise and fall of instructional/educational films?
There seems to have been thousands of educational films from the 1940s-1970s on every subject imaginable: hygiene, how to eat, how to buy food, how to dress, how to be popular, how to have manners, how truck farming works, how to speak in public, how to have good posture, ad nauseum. These films seem to have been targeted at everyone from school children, to housewives, to college students, to young couples, to businessmen. Why? What prompted the creation of all these instructional films and why did they have a heyday in the middle of the 20th century and then seem to quickly fall out of favor?

I saw this in kindergarten which I attended either in 2011 or 2012 (Can't remember) but the film was probably made a while before that time. What I remember is that it was live action and in the beginning a boy didn't wan't to eat Thanksgiving dinner with his family and went to his room to play video games. Then his mom comes into the room and takes his controller away. Then the boy sees another controller in his room and I remember he said something like " I don't remember ever seeing this controller ever". The boy then picks up the controller and is whisked away to the first Thanksgiving and is taught the meaning of the holiday.
