A list of puns related to "The Blue Comet"
Iβm finishing up my second watch of the series, and Iβm kind of bothered by Dr. Melfiβs attitude as sheβs βfiringβ Tony. Maybe Iβm a little defensive of this thing of ours, but I feel like sheβs projecting her issues with her shortcomings as a therapist at Tony. It goes without saying that sheβs been put in some awful positions by Tony, but I feel like there is also evidence she gets a thrill/sense of power from the relationship at times (for example, toying with the idea of revenge on her rapist). Not to mention Elliot has been telling her for years that Tony canβt be helped and she continues to come back to him as much as he does to her. So why the grandstanding attitude in the end?
Edit*typos in the title, oof madonn

For those of you unfamiliar with the Blue Kachina, it is a bright blue object that is supposed to appear in the heavens when the end times of this era begins and a new age dawns, or we fail. It is a part of the Hopi prophecy, some think it was added later during the 70s or 80s, but nonetheless it seems to be true. What we are witnessing is our level up. Mother Earth is purging the toxins. This year is going to me more remarkable than any before it. I believe that with every fibre of my being.
After the flashback of Bobby, anyone have an idea as wonwhat it is? The music along with that scene in chilling
I'm watching the Blue Comet episode, and we all know this is a pivotal, seismic episode in the series. The Sopranos are going into full fledged war against NY. A hit is put out on Phil Leotardo, the assignment is given to Paulie who has Patsy Parasi handle the Italian hitmen. As done before Corky Caporale was made the contact person with the hitmen. Now, the hitmen do as they were supposed and execute their hit perfectly. Expect one problem, is the wrong person. But that's not on the hitmen. To their credit the hitmen informed Corky that the people they killed spoke Ukrainian. This should had set big huge red flags. Corky passes the information to Patsi. Patsi takes this piece of info and what does he do? Nothing, the fucking idiot just throws his hands up and says nothing. Why is this important? If The Soprano crew had realized they killed the wrong person they would had gotten a heads up and Sil would had not been shot, and Bobby might be alive. Think about it, why on Earth would Patsi not give a second thought about the guy that was killed speaking Ukrainian? That's a question out of left field. He knows the hitmen don't know Phil. Doesn't that question sound some alarms? I mean, all they're doing is trying to kill the boss of a family. Then to his credit, Paulie calls Sil all night, and Sil doesn't answer. Again, you are putting a hit on a boss of a family, all hands should be on deck. But Sil's wife had food poising...so he can't keep his phone on?
Anyways, Patsy, Sil's and Bobby's blood is on your hands! I'm glad your loud mouth twin was killed. But I too wish it was you that had been killed.
Iβve watched this show from start to finish at least 12 times and I always have different feelings every time watching this scene. Obviously I understand why Melfi makes this decision, however, Tony truly seems betrayed by it. She really is one of the only people he really opened up to (in his special way). One of the best scenes in the entire show, in my opinion.
