A list of puns related to "The Abbey Road E.P."
Itβs hard to describe this masterpiece. The nuance. The white album by sheer volume and great songs and how raw it is was always a tossup with Abbey Roadβ¦ But listening to Abbey Road just now. Itβs absolutely mind blowing. No other rock album even gets close.
I gotta go with She Came in Through the Bathroom Window. It's just so damn fun. Great lead guitar, great bass, great vocals (especially the angelic backing vocals), great lyrics, great drumming. GREAT!
How bout you?

I saw the audio from this recording was posted a few days ago. But, unless I missed it, I didn't notice anyone post the actual video.
The video, for me at least, took the song from a regular Architects slapper, to a nasty, goosebump-inducing, beautiful piece of art. Big BMTH live at Royal Albert Hall vibes.
If you haven't seen it yet, do your eyes and ears a favor and check it out!

Like the album cover shows a street that looks like Abbey Road but with a person standing on the side. It's usually mentioned when people talk about good albums and I was wondering what it was called.
I just recently watched Get Back and I was wondering if there is any other loose video of the Beatles working their studio magic floating around. Google gave me a very unclear answer. Thanks!

Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End - 4%
Tracks like Rev 9, Dear Prudence, Long Long Long, Happiness is a Warm Gun, Martha My Dear, and Julia all sound super fresh for me, whereas my favorite tracks in Abbey Road: Because/You Never Gave Me Your Money, Polythene Pam/She Came in Through the Bathroom Window, and Something are all great, but because they reflect the 60s and their period better.
Is that anyone elseβs experience?
Of course in Get Back we see a lot of songs that ended up being on Abbey Road: Something, Oh Darling, Carry That Weight, Maxwellβs Silver Hammer etc... Itβs clear that by this point everyone was happy to go their separate ways and the Let It Be album was only happening because they were contractually obliged or whatever, so why make Abbey Road? Was it simply because they had so many extra songs they didnβt want going to waste? Why not do like they did with Junk, ATMP and Road To Marrakesh and keep them as solo songs? I always felt that Abbey Road was more polished and sophisticated than Let It Be although clearly a lot of songs came after Let It Be was already established
Seeing some of what would become Abbey Road songs during the Get Back sessions made me want to see the Abbey Road sessions so bad.
Edit: some people here took what I said extremely literally I guess and seem to think Iβm stupid for thinking the Beatles would be up for another get back style film session while they recorded Abbey Road. While I obviously didnβt mean like, a film documentary crew hanging around them the entire time, I do think itβs entirely possible they would keep some cameras around. Theyβre annoying, but not THAT annoying. For the most famous band in the world. Theyβre used to it. Like itβs not that ridiculous to imagine that they would keep some of that filming energy going into Abbey Road. That they would have some cameras around. Clearly some good things arose out of filming, it wasnβt all bad. They enjoyed parts of it.
And now Iβve had to defend myself on a point I wasnβt even originally trying to make. Thatβs Reddit for ya I guess.
Iβm not literally looking for a Get Back documentary done at Abbey Road. Iβm looking for something LIKE it, as in, some kind of documenting, footage, recording, anything that tells the story of the Abbey Road sessions. By βsimilar to Get Back,β I meant like, video (or really anything at all) of them playing early takes, skeleton songs, etc. Songs coming into being.
Essentially itβs a collaboration of unfinished songs. Did they decide to do this as because of artistic merit or did cynically decide that they couldnβt be bothered to finish them?
I missed it because I was on vacationβ¦ Iβm willing to pay for it but I canβt find it anywhere anymoreβ¦
It killed the flow between Mustard and Pam and works perfectly as an afterthought after "The End" even the abrupt ending mirrors the abrupt ending of "I Want You (She's so Heavy)" on side 1.

Something has been added to the winners list, in the replies. Yay! George's second win! Can he make it a third?
Also, there are so many songs on this side, I've grouped the medley into portions. As songs are eliminated, they will all get their own slot.
