A list of puns related to "Thanos (Marvel Cinematic Universe)"
\"We are who we choose to be... now choose!\"
Ever since Spider-Man: No Way Home was announced to have Jamie Foxx as Electro, nobody would've assumed that other villains from previous Spider-Man movies would reappear, but after Alfred Molina was confirmed to play Doctor Octopus again, fans thought that more villains from previous Spider-Man films were confirmed essentially. They would be correct, as the Sandman from Spider-Man 3 and the Lizard from The Amazing Spider-Man were confirmed in the early shots of the first trailer. But my excitement got really high when I heard an evil cackle and saw an orange and green bomb land on the ground. I instantly knew the Green Goblin would be in this film. But we got our first real look at him in the second trailer, showing off not only the costume the character wore in the first Spider-Man movie from 2002, but also a short glimpse at a new look the character would receive. But it wasn't until I saw the movie that I knew that the Green Goblin would be as good as he was in the comics and the 2002 movie. Surprisingly enough, he was just as perfect as he was in the 2002 movie, if not better. But why? Why is the Green Goblin, a character that debuted almost 20 years ago, still one of the best villains in a franchise of 27 movies that has tons of villains? Well, here are 5 reasons why the Green Goblin is the best Marvel Cinematic Universe villain since Thanos from Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
Green Goblin in his first scene next to a later appearance.
THE REDESIGN:
Fans and critics hated the original costume the Green Goblin sported in the 2002 movie, especially considering the original prototype mask with animatronic features was replaced with a mask with a grinning expression. I strongly disagree, as the mask gives a feeling of danger and it is meant to frighten you, which is what it did for me. When the Green Goblin was revealed for No Way Home, I thought they would utilize the unused prototype mask, which you can see in this here video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8PVMT2AmWE
It would make perfect sense, as the MCU usually goes for a comic accurate depiction of the characte

Itβs established in several episodes that the TARDIS is a living thing in some way or another, so I believe the TARDIS could be dusted. (Correct me if Iβm wrong).
So my question is what would happen if the TARDIS was snapped away mid takeoff?
Rules: Ben had master control, but he can't use the following aliens -
Alien X Atomix Waybig Clockwork No Ultimate aliens No Hypothetical transformations(you can't just take any background aliens from the Ben 10 series and say he could turn into it)
He can use any alien he's actually turned into on-screen with the exceptions mentioned above.
His goal is to stop Thanos from collecting the Infinity Stones.
The scanning feature still works, so feel free to work that in there.
Round 1: Ben appears a block away from Tony And Strange just before the Children of Thanos touch down in the city. How does h is presence change things?
Round 1.1: Let's say strange is still taken, and Ben follows Tony and Peter into space. How does he change that whole plot-line?
Round 2: Ben appears a block away from Wanda and Vision just a few minutes before the CoT attack them. How does his presence change things?
Round 2.1: Let's say the CoT still escape, and Ben joins up with Cap's team. How does he change that whole plot-line?
Bonus round: Endgame scenario. Ben is Dropped into the ship Tony and Nebula are on at the beginning of the movie. He turns into jetray and starts hauling them back to earth.
Carol joins them on the way.
How does he affect the outcome of endgame?
MCU Thanos and all of his army VS Falling electrical socket
>!I'm bored!<
Born on the planet Titan, Thanos saw its days were numbered due to having too many individuals and not enough resources to go around. He proposed a solution: Genocide of half the planet, but random, dispassionate, and fair to everyone no matter of background. Thanos was called mad, but ultimately what he foresaw came to pass, Titan falling to ruin. Determined to not let the same fate fall upon the universe, he travelled, spreading his philosophy to those who would listen while using the Chitauri to help cull the population of anywhere he went by half. As he did this, he sought out the Infinity Stones, under the belief that once he gained them all he'd be able to instantly destroy half of all life in the universe, allowing him to retire to an empty planet, where he could garden and watch the sun rise on a grateful universe. Thanos was successful, afterwards using the Infinity Stones to destroy themselves to ensure no one would revert his gift, only to be discovered and killed. But as his killers traveled back in time to regain the Infinity Stones and undo the Snap, the past Thanos learned of them, and attempted to gain the Stones they collected to rebuild the universe in its entirety.

Team: All MCU Avengers from Infinity War + Thanos from Endgame. Only Dr Strange isn't included in this fight, he could just send her to another dimension. No one has Infinity Stones.
Fighter 2: Hela from Thor 3
Location: Asgard
Preparation? They know she's very strong, but nothing more.
Victory conditions: Death
Everyone is bloodlusted.
Who shall win and who shall die?
Book Gandalf.
Gandalf is in character, so he will counsel and try to bring people together or attempt to secure the Infinity Stones himself in order to safeguard them, but he isn't going to do something as drastic as hunting down baby Thanos and strangling him in his crib.
Gandalf enters the MCU via a Sakaar trash portal in 1014 A.D. (the beginning of the Kree-Nova War). If he dies during his mission he will be reincarnated as Gandalf the White. He does not know where the stones are.
This scenario is not bound by Dr. Strange's insistence that there is no other way. However, Gandalf cannot prevent the calamity that will befall Titan and thus Thanos will inevitably begin his crusade.
(Minor spoiler for the last "Avengers" movie, some spoilers for HPMOR)
I'll make this short: we know that Harry Potter
Not to mention that Thanos has a minion who looks like a crossbreed from Voldemort and Squidward (a ressurection gone wrong?).
At this point I think it's very clear that Thanos is a future version of Harry who has fallen into his dark side.
(don't want to make any more spoilers so I won't go into details, but there are other similarities)
(also Nick Fury is actually Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody undercover)
EDIT: You wanted more proof, so here we go (sorry if my English isn't perfect). Spoilers for HPMOR final chapters and previous "Avengers" movie ahead!
Alright, first and most important proof is that both universes have a >!Sparkling Unicorn Princess. My theory is that Thanos-Harry was slowly driven mad by the Unbreakable Vow that he made, because he constantly had to choose a way of least destruction, and he finally came up with an idea to reduce the source of the destruction - all the sentient beings in the world. The Vow forced him to ask friend's opinion on this plan, and Hermione disagreed. Then - loophole in the Vow! - he stopped thinking of her as a friend, and therefore didn't depend on her opinion anymore. She started fighting against him and had to go undercover as Captain Marvel (everything shown in the "Captain Marvel" movie is huge cover-up story) because Harry-Thanos wouldn't pay as much attention to unknown superheroine.!<
Next parallel I see is Harry's obsession with equality (he talks about it way too often in way too many words) that eventually transformed into a decision to >!kill exactly half of sentient beings in the universe, randomly chosen.!<
You would, of course, ask why is Harry-Thanos so tall? and blue? and bold? The answer is simple: >!because he can. He already has the Philosopher's Stone, so he can look whatever the hell he wants to look.!<
That brings the question of six Infinity Stones... >!Six, you say? Well I say there are seven of them with the Philosopher's Stone being the seventh. That's just obvious!<
I could come up with more incontrovertible proof but that's more than enough to convince even EY himself. What? What do you mean my proof isn't incontrovertible? What do you mean
... keep reading on reddit β‘What I'm asking is, what possibilities are open to someone wielding all six Stones? If they can be used to eradicate half of all life, then could they have done the reverse, doubling all life? Can the Stones create new planets, or transmute unlimited resources? My imagination is too limited to grasp just what someone wielding all six Infinity Stones could be capable of.
If Ego had covered the entire galaxy in himself, would he have kept the Infinity Stones he found for himself? Would Thanos have come to fight him or would he approach him more diplomatically?
Posting here instead of r/whowouldwin since I'm most interested in what they'd think of each other rather than who would win an all out brawl. (Though that'd be interesting too.)
Your day starts with the snap happening. (Wakanda is seven hours ahead of the US and the "Battle in Wakanda" happened near sundown, putting it around 7pm, meaning if you live on the East Coast US, they're going to die at noon EST.)
Using Infinity stone seem to pose extreme amount of damage to the wielder, even more so when multiple stones are involved together.
But In the first guardian of galaxy movie we see that people holding hands together like that could lessen the impact the stones have on the user, allowing starlord to survive the ordeal.
So, could the same be done with the infinity gauntlet itself? if so, how many would it take to lessen the damage to make it survivable for normal people? what if we has hulk or thor as the snapper but have others join in to lessen the damage?
TL;DR - A Stan Lee cameo has doomed the MCU.
I'm not the first to put forth that Stan Lee is the Watcher and his Guardians VOL. 2 cameo seemingly proves it. He's recounting his cameo in Captain America: Civil War. (Guardians 2 takes place before CW but Watchers don't always see time as linear and can sometimes see glimpses of the future). Specifically, he's likely Uatu, the young Watcher in charge of observing Earth. But what is a Watcher? By his own words:
>I am known as the WATCHER. My sworn task is to OBSERVE and CHRONICLE great events within this sector of the universe. My curse is to always WITNESS and NEVER PARTICIPATE. I must be TRUE to this duty, even on the brink of ARMAGEDDON.
-Fantastic Four #13 (I think)
Except no, Uatu violates his oath to just observe and not interfere constantly. He gives Reed the Ultimate Nullifer to ward off Galactus (Reed doesn't even have to use it, Galactus shits his pants just seeing the thing). He helps the citizens of Earth-311 (from Earth 1602 by Neil Gaiman) to ward off complete destruction of their reality. Heck, just showing up and revealing himself is a violation because just the act of knowing you're being watched changes the outcome. You could be going about your day and see the Watcher and know that something was about to go down because the Watcher only shows up at specific times of great importance (hence why he's in all the Marvel movies).
So, what do Watchers do then? They're watching for a specific reason and that reason is to protect Celestial Eggs. In what is possibly one of the best Marvel comic stories ever, Earth X, we find out the The Watchers as a race are protectors of Celestial Eggs. That's it. Caring about Earth's history is a hobby for Uatu because his job is to not let any harm come to the Celestial Egg at Earth's core because anything that could destroy a planet would harm the egg. And what harms planets? Or rather, what eats planets?
Galactus. Who is actually a good guy but not from the perspective of anyone living on Earth. See, there are lots of planets in the universe. When Galactus shows up in the Sol System he ignores the other planet and specifically comes for the one that harbors life

Bonus Question: Was Thanos right?
After convincing the Great Diamond Authority to dismantle their empire and ushering in a new era of peace and love in the galaxy, Steven Quartz Universe was attacked by a renegade gem hell-bent on revenge. After dealing with that threat, he realised something; He'd always have more work to do. As soon Steven was done healing the earth and repairing Beach City, a large ring-shaped ship arrived over New York City. Warping there with the other Crystal Gems, Steven encountered the Black Order and learned about Thanos, an even greater threat to life in the universe. Steven, Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl tag along with Iron Man, Spider-Man and Doctor Strange into space. After meeting the Guardians of the Galaxy (minus Gamora) on Titan, Dr Strange looked into the future to see possible timelines where Thanos loses, and discovers two; one where the events of the MCU proceed as depicted in the films, and one where Steven convinces the Mad Titan to abandon his conquest. Thanos then arrives on Titan, now wielding four of the six Infinity Stones.
So, how the hell can Steven convince Thanos to give up his conquest?
ROUNDS:
R1: Thanos allows Steven to speak, but fully intends to take the Time Stone then and there.
R2: Thanos halts his conquest temporarily, allowing Steven a few hours to try to convince him. Steven can take Thanos anywhere in the galaxy that he is capable of travelling to in this time.
R3: Thanos allows Steven a day to convince him.
R4: Thanos allows Steven three days to convince him.
R5: Thanos allows Steven a week to convince him.
R6: Steven is peacelusted, and will use any and every non-violent technique at his disposal to convince Thanos to stop.
BONUS ROUNDS:
B1: Can Thanos convince Steven to join his side?
B2: If Steven fails to convice Thanos and the fight on Titan proceeds as normal, how do Steven and the Crystal Gems influence the outcome of the battle?
B3: Same as B2, but Bismuth, Peridot, Lapis Lazuli, Connie and Lion are there too.
B4: Steven instead has to convince Endgame Thanos outside the destroyed Avengers compound, with only Captain America there with him.
B5: Instead of Xandar, the Power Stone was heavily defended on the Gem Homeworld. Could Thanos still get it as easily as he did?
B6: Instead of Pink Diamond's gem, Steven has the Mind Stone on his navel. How fucked is Steven when Thanos shows up to get it?

On DIO's journey to eradicate the Joestars from the multiverse, he finds himself in the MCU during infinity war. As DIO is capable of altering reality, Thanos views his presence as a threat to the balance in the universe. DIO hasn't had a decent fight in ages, and instead of leaving, he decides to fight Thanos. Thanos already has all the infinity stones, and DIO somehow got all the corpse parts. Who would win?
Chapter 1 of 6 is released now. Please comment here or DM me for the link!
Changelog:
An extended/alternate opening to better develop character journeys/motivations for joining The Avengers, major narrative changes throughout, and trimmed gags restructure this introductory Marvel story into a classic tale of how our protagonists meet one another and foreshadow the coming destruction.
Like Ultron or Loki? Thanos is so immensely more memed and popular compared to the other two.

(Title quote from Infinity Gauntlet #3.)
They've teased it since The Avengers, and Thor: The Dark World makes explicit what we've long suspected: Marvel Studios are slowly pulling together an adaptation of The Infinity Gauntlet. For those who aren't familiar with that comic, it's a seminal Marvel Comics story, author Jim Starlin's most famous work, and even twenty years later still feels like the story with the widest scope in the Marvel Universe. Here are the broad strokes of the storyline.
Thanos is a spacefaring badguy in love with Death. Not the idea of death, but the literal anthropomorphic personification of Death in the Marvel Universe. Thanos manages to acquire artifacts called the Infinity Gems, which give him complete omnipotence & control over every aspect of the universe. Obviously, he's going to wipe out all life in the universe as a sacrifice to Mistress Death, and starts by wiping out half in one moment. A small army including the Avengers, Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Hulk, Silver Surfer & the X-Men travel to the end of the universe to stop him. Thanos then proceeds to brutally slaughter them all. It's kind of amazing, and one of the best "Holy shit!" moments in Marvel comics.
When it comes to adapting the storyline for film, Marvel Studios is at a disadvantage; they lack the iconic X-Men, Fantastic Four & Spider-Man to fill their universe. I began wondering if The Infinity Gauntlet is even a viable storyline for Marvel Studios. I assumed that in order to fill out the ranks of an "Avengers Army," they'd need to cheese in a bunch of secondary supporting heroes in their main characters' films. I feel the introductions of War Machine & Black Widow weren't handled very organically at all in Iron Man 2, and I became concerned that those forced additions would be mostly standard in the Marvel Universe moving forward.
After doing the math, I was quite pleased to discover I was wrong: even if they introduce no new superheroes, Marvel already has an enormous list of announced & existing heroes introduced superheroes to justify The Infinity Gauntlet storyline.
Would they regenerate? What would happen? Since the doctor is a time traveler would he even qualify to be one of the half?
Who do you think would win in this battle? Edit: if perfect cell is too much then imperfect cell.
