Hello,
The idea of communication and the technology involved in telecommunications too are both pretty interesting topics to me. Iโm also a fan of movies & thrillers too so Iโm currently assembling a list of movies which are conceptually based around telephone based communication or have memorable set pieces based around similar styles of communication. Here are some I have so far:

โข Speed.
โข Scream.
โข When a Stranger Calls.
โข Compliance (2012).
โข Buried.
โข Taken.
โข Dirty Harry (the third act running between pay phones set piece).
โข the phone tapping in Goodfellas.
โข Dial M For Murder.
โข a lot of hostage/terrorist negotiation films (Inside Man, Captain Phillips, etc).
โข a lot of spy films (eg the phone call set piece in The Bourne Supremacy)
Iโm trying to hopefully avoid the glut of uninspired bottom of the barrel horror/thriller movies that use the phone as a plot point in uninspired ways. Instead Iโm hoping to just hear movies that I mightโve overlooked but which are still cool/original/entertaining enough to maybe check out.

In 1993 Stephen Joseph Schap, an Army Sgt and his bride, Diane, were having issues having children.
The couple befriended soldier Donald Glover. Joseph was eventually sent away for training and Diane continued her relationship with Glover.
Eventually their relationship became romantic and Diane became pregnant.
When Sgt. Glover returned he found his bride to be pregnant again and she assured him sheโd not been unfaithful.
When she started having pregnancy issues she was taken to the hospital. Feeling the guilt she confessed to Joseph, she had an extramarital affair with someone. Joseph solemnly listened and ask questions, though she wouldnโt directly name Donald as the father.
Joseph left the hospital to allegedly start moving his things from their home. While he was out he finally deduced who the other man was.
He went out searching and found Donald in a phone booth, he was talking to Diane at the time and the call abruptly ended, outside the mess hall windows and a struggle ensued. Joseph stabbed Donald and over powered him. Joseph then hacked Donaldโs head off with a machete while the people in the mess hall watched in horror. Placing Donaldโs head in a duffle, he brought the head to Diane and said, "Look Diane, Glover's here. He'll sleep with you every night, only you won't sleep at night."
Joseph was found guilty of premeditated murder and is sentenced to life in prison.

The iconic red telephone booths, are they still around and what will their fate be ultimately? Do people generally want them to remain in place, given how iconic they are, or remove them from streets given they are basically useless today?
Or an option C, convert them to something else? In NY, they converted many payphones into public Wi-Fi hotspots, perhaps the same can be done with some of the red booths in the UK, without ruining the look of course. And maybe on the inside there can be maps and other information for tourists, maybe even a standing desk so someone could actually do work there if they wanted.
so, What do you think about the idea of a telephone booth to the dead Japan in connection with tsunami victims? Someone knows the number to Infj after slamming the door?
