Another match where people were neck and neck after two straight battles of someone taking a dramatic lead over the opponent! The judges, generally, considered the strategies themselves to be of similar degrees of quality, with Crowbar’s gaining the slight edge for his unusual plays. Neither impressed on the JoJolity front, meanwhile, but Blue’s player was able to make up the quality difference anyway. He might have surpassed it outright, and even given himself the quality edge, had he done anything with his call, but hindsight is 20/20, and in the end it all came down to the popular vote… Which, with the final vote being approximately a single minute past the deadline, also tied.
For the purposes of tourney canon, this means, uh… Crowbar would have won handily with his unusual cheating methods, had he even the slightest bit more time. We didn’t expect this to happen early once, let alone twice in a row.
Hey, speaking of voting! You can do that for match 5 still! u/VforVanarchy says, and quote, "if you tie this I swear to christ we're turning this into a dog catalogue tourney,” but take what he says with a grain of salt. The odds of this happening a third time are astronomically unlikely.
