A list of puns related to "Sugar beet"
So I have a 42ac field and last year I did cotton on it so now Iβm good for cotton for 2 years so this year I decided to do sugar beets as a crop rotation (thanks to this subreddit for giving me the idea, I wouldβve just kept doing cotton for profit).
According to posts on this sub, an acre of sugar beets will yield about 45k liters so Iβll end up with close to 2mil liters (I expanded my field a bit this winter so Iβm probably closer to 44-45ac now).
Thatβsβ¦ a lot of sugar beets. So to make my time worth it, Iβm obviously gonna cut it and buy the sugar mill and make straight sugar out of it. Iβve also read that the sugar mill makes about 14-15 pallets of sugar a day(!). Thatβsβ¦ a lot of pallets. So I guess my first question is, as I donβt have anything yet to process my sugar further, ie milk for chocolate etc, would I lose a ton if I just put it on auto sell? I wanna say the difference between lowest and highest price on sugar is like a 10% difference according to some spreadsheet that was shared on this sub.
Also, the bulk hall - surely thatβs not gonna hold 2mil liters of sugar beets, does anybody know how much it holds? I know the sugar mill is gonna fill up quick and Iβm going to have to keep feeding it for a while and I donβt want to need to buy like 10 bulk halls just for the sugar beets or keep like 20 trailers full up waiting to offload.
TL;DR: 1) Sugar on auto sell year round not too much of a loss? (The pallets/day!!)
How much does a bulk hall hold?
Silos? Can they at least hold cut sugar beets?
How much of a headache am I in for planting about 44-45ac of sugar beets?
On console if that matters.
I am used to being able to store sugar beets in silos but in the new farm sim no matter what I do it is bot letting me. Has the way to store them changed or smt
So, trying to get into Biogas. So far I am running silage.
I am curious to know if I can add Sugar Beets to the same dump point as the silage?
Does that add together OR do the sugar beets have a different capacity counter to the silage?

Iβm making a gingerbread loaf, but could only get my hands on sugar beet molasses, which to my understanding is less sweet than the usual sugar cane molasses. Is there some way to substitute it, maybe by adding more sugar?
My dad grew up in Lublin and fondly remembers his mom baking a type of cake using sugar beets. Every year around this time when the sugar beets are harvested, he tells me about it. I would love to surprise him by baking one, but I can't seem to find a recipe that matches his description.
He says it's not a spicy cake, and it's not a dense consistency, but other than that, I just know the main ingredient to be boiled sugar beet.
