A list of puns related to "Stanfield Organization"
After Marlo Stanfield, gang leader and rival drug kingpin to Avon Barksdale, met with Avon's lieutenant Stringer Bell he stated "Barksdale weak today." Marlo then ordered his second-in-command Chris to get their people ready for a gang war.
However, at this point in the show the Barksdale organization is anything but weak. In the scene in which Avon Barksdale -- the leader of the organization -- is arrested he is seen in a safehouse with 20+ armed gang members loading assault rifles and even grenades. Contrast that with Marlo's crew which really only has Chris and Snoop as the main muscle in season 3. If Avon hadn't gotten arrested it seems very plausible that the Barksdale crew would have won the upcoming gang war.
So why did Marlo think Barksdale was weak? He thought they were weak because Stringer was the one who went to the sitdown, not Avon.
A large part of Stringer's character in the Wire revolves around him not quite fitting in with the rest of the gangsters in the series. He dresses more 'properly', often wearing a suit and tie while his peers usually wear more traditional gangbanger attire. Avon Barksdale himself tells Stringer in one of their final arguments that he was not "Hard enough for the streets. Maybe you never were." Clearly, people that grew up in the drug game in Baltimore can sense if someone is not fully invested in the lifestyle they have chosen. I believe Marlo sniffed out that same sense of apprehension to violence from Stringer and mistakenly attributed that weakness to the entire Barksdale organization. Due to that, he prematurely began to attack their position despite no real evidence to prove he would win the fight.
If ya can't tell I've been rewatching the Wire
From what I could tell it was Marlo at the top Chris as his #2 and lead enforcer with Monk and later Cheese acting as his #3s. Next come the lieutenants/muscle like Snoop and Savino, then soldiers like Michael and corner leaders like Fruit. Is this about right?
Bruce Wayne has struck a business deal in Baltimore and decides to go there for 3 months. As Batman, he decides to investigate further into the Barksdale and Stanfield organizations. Batman has all of the gadgets and tools in The Dark Knight Trilogy, except for the SONAR system. He also does not have help from the Baltimore PD. In order to win, Batman must fully take down the organizations.
Round 1: Barksdale organization (Season 1) Round 2: Stanfield organization Round 3: Both organizations at once
Bonus: Scarecrow becomes a part of the Stanfield organization and The Joker replaces Omar, but Batman now has all of the help he can get with the Baltimore PD. How far will Batman be able to get?

Judicial Elections Open Today! By: Charity Deimos
Judicial Elections are opening today, Dec. 27 and will be running through Jan. 3rd.
Election season is once again upon Los Santos, as three judge seats are now up for grabs. These seats are a 6 month term, and only one judge is attempting to retain their position.
With the retirement of both Allison Thomas and Coyote Russel, this election is sure to be an interesting one. As Crane runs to keep his seat, several other candidates have stepped up to either take his place or become his peer. These Candidates are Tim Collins, Larry Hallows, and Norman Adams. Each candidate brings something a little different to the table.
Tim Collins is a senior attorney who was admitted to the bar in San Andreas in December 2020, and has been an associate at XPlain Law LLP since February. He believes he can be a fair and impartial arbiter of disputes and plans to make himself available for shifts he feels could use more judges.
Larry Hallow is a former District Attorney. He believes that there is a lack of consistent judicial representation in the city and wants to be around to solve that lack. He believes that he can bring a fresh perspective to the DOJ due his extensive experience with both sides of lawyering.
Norman Adams has been a bar certified attorney in Los Santos since December 2020. He has maintained a positive relationship with the Special Prosecutorβs Unit and the United Police Department during his time as a defense attorney. If he is elected, he plans to dedicate his time to ensure equal protection for everyone in Los Santos.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT NSFW, THIS IS ABOUT LONG JOKES, BLONDE JOKES, SEXUAL JOKES, KNOCK KNOCK JOKES, POLITICAL JOKES, ETC BEING POSTED IN A DAD JOKE SUB
Try telling these sexual jokes that get posted here, to your kid and see how your spouse likes it.. if that goes well, Try telling one of your friends kid about your sex life being like Coca cola, first it was normal, than light and now zero , and see if the parents are OK with you telling their kid the "dad joke"
I'm not even referencing the NSFW, I'm saying Dad jokes are corny, and sometimes painful, not sexual
So check out r/jokes for all types of jokes
r/unclejokes for dirty jokes
r/3amjokes for real weird and alot of OC
r/cleandadjokes If your really sick of seeing not dad jokes in r/dadjokes
Punchline !
Edit: this is not a post about NSFW , This is about jokes, knock knock jokes, blonde jokes, political jokes etc being posted in a dad joke sub
Edit 2: don't touch the thermostat
Do your worst!
How the hell am I suppose to know when itβs raining in Sweden?
Ants donβt even have the concept fathers, let alone a good dad joke. Keep r/ants out of my r/dadjokes.
But no, seriously. I understand rule 7 is great to have intelligent discussion, but sometimes it feels like 1 in 10 posts here is someone getting upset about the jokes on this sub. Let the mods deal with it, they regulate the sub.
Mathematical puns makes me number

... keep reading on reddit β‘Before I start, I ask of you to please read through the whole write-up. I imagine most people who have watched The Wire will have no problem sitting through and reading this, as The Wire is a show where it requires your full attention, this post will also require such as well. Thank you.
We all know what The Wire is about: It's gritty and realistic depiction of Baltimore, Maryland. The show shows all of the contributing factors of to the ongoing failure of the city, splitting it into seasons and taking it's time to showcase each and every small, tedious detail that is necessary to the overall picture The Wire is trying to paint, even if it sacrifices the entertainment. It's a very show-not-tell type show. I always say it's like a novel but in TV show form.
Now notice how in the first paragraph the word, "realistic" is highlighted in bold. The reason for this is because The Wire is just that, realistic. It's one of the most import aspects of show. It does an amazing job straying away from typical "Hollywood"-type writing where there has to be an epic car chase scene and have dramatic music in the background to keep the audiences attention. But The Wire doesn't roll that way (no pun intended). The Wire doesn't set out to hold the viewers hand and keep them invested in some overly dramatic, totally forgettable cop show. The Wire stays true to realistic and authentic writing.
That being said however, writing something while trying to stay realistic is no easy task. The real world doesn't really work like a TV show. So that leads to a lot of anti-climatic scenes where there is no real build up to the big moment. It just happens. And the perfect example of this is Omar Little's death in Season 5.
Throughout the main part of Season 5, Omar is on a mission. He wants to take out Marlo Stanfield and his whole organization in revenge for killing Omar's blind-eye mentor, Butchie. Omar makes a list of his main targets on a piece of paper. These people include some of Marlo's top people and Marlo himself.

On this list however, only one person's name is crossed out. Savino, whom was originally apart of Avon Barksdale's crew, but he was arrested at the end of Season 1 alongside most of Avon's organization. Omar manages to kill Savino in Episode 7 of Season 5, "Took." This list is found on Omar in the next episode after he is killed.
