If not allowed delete cause this may be more related to the lore, but to my knowledge about the game (and I havent finished infinite yet) they dont explain how the halo rings have an atmosphere or even how gravity exists on a halo ring, like are the rings spinning to simulate gravity and is the atmosphere artificially made within the rings?

My boyfriend and I recently visited our local jewelry store to look at rings together and I left feeling pretty discouraged and judged. We want to do a custom ring and we’ve been together 9 years. I’m picky, and I’d rather get what I like, but the salesman hinted at my boyfriend coming back alone so it can be a surprise. Which that made me feel weird for being there in the first place. The salesman also said they definitely don’t offer lab-created diamonds, and spoke very down on lab-created and how they don’t hold they’re value at all (which I don’t think I care about…). I also asked about moissanite which he said they could do “if that’s really what you want”. But compared it to cubic zirconia and how they really have no value. Again, which I don’t care about. Personally, I’d rather have a bigger stone than a small natural diamond. Our budget is $5,000.
Has anyone else dealt with judgment for designing your own ring/ wanting a non-natural stone? I don’t even know what to think anymore and I’m afraid to go into another jewelry store.
Downloaded it yesterday to play in the Halo Reach PvP Flighting beta for this weekend. There's currently a 4.49GB update and now two tiles popped of the same build.
Halos are the namesake of the franchise and offer a unique ring world setting not present in any other FPS, or open world game I can think of.
In previous installments, playing on a Ring's surface never affects the gameplay or alters the setting, beyond seeing the ring in the skybox. This make sense as the rings gravity is roughly that of Earth and most of the levels take place well within the rings surface.
The only example in the franchise where I can say that playing on the Ring altered the gameplay, was the start of the level Halo in CE, with its open ended design and environments serving as a detour from the traditional corridor environments of shooters past, and as encountered in the previous level.
With Halo Infinite presumably taking place on 07 for a considerable amount of time, and the speculation of a semi-open world environment, how would you hope the Ring world setting is utilized to make for a more unique setting and experience?
Some things I can think of off the top of my head:

Playing towards the edge of the ring, whether that be the retaining wall or near the broken section seen in the E3 trailer.

If the game is somewhat open ended as suspected, as the game progresses being able to select your location on the ring, or see previously visited and altered areas from the skybox. Say, if the Flood are released and mass infect a portion of the ring, Chief can look up and see the burn in the skybox when he's on a different section. I think this happens in Primordium
Thoughts? I hope to see the Ring do more for the setting than be a picture in the skybox.
