A list of puns related to "Singapore Sling"
What the hell was that? It's like if Eraserhead was a BDSM porno
First off, that was so, so much better than I thought it would be. You really can't describe this one properly
IMDb says:
"A man searching for his long-lost lover is kidnapped by her killers, an insane, mother-daughter duo, and they force him to commit various sexual atrocities with them."
And yes, that's accurate but it's also something else. Something I can't quite put my finger down my throat on...
Disturbing, check. Extreme, check. Arthouse, check.
Anyway, it's an experience. I think it's brilliant

Hi Redditor, cocktails making has becoming my hobby. Today I want to make Singapore Sling, I have all ingredient to make but I'm still missing Cherry Brandy Liquor. What is the best Cherry Brandy Liquor to make Singapore Sling ? I have found Bardinet Cherry Brandy and Bols Cherry Brandy so far in my country. Additionally, do I have to add Grenadine syrup as well ? Thanks
I have above-mentioned ingredients except benedictine and I don't want to buy a 0,7 bottle for one recipe that only calls for quarter of an ounce. I also don't like to make classic cocktails at all so it will probably sit on the self unused expect the Singapore Sling, if I happen to love the cocktail.
A story about my journeyman adventure trying to win all 5 continental CL competitions. Part 1 here.
Following my departure from India, the goal was to work in either South Korea, China or South Africa, as these were the three nations I would be looking to win the Asian and African CL's from, and I was looking to learn languages and grow my reputation there. However, even the lower leagues in those nations wouldn't hire me, so I had to look elsewhere. Eventually my chance came. Geylang International FC in Singapore offered me the job and I snapped it up, hoping to learn some Chinese and grab some coaching badges. I later learned you don't learn Chinese here, only English - which I am fluent in. Oops.
When I arrived, the league season was all but over. 3 games remained but a 6th place finish was confirmed. There was, however, the season ending Singapore Cup to come. A clean sweep of the group stage including a 1-0 victory over local rivals and stadium share club Tampines, and a victory and draw in the two legged semi against the local offshoot of Japanese club Albirex set up a final, barely one month after arriving. Up against Tampines again, I saw a perfect chance to win over the fans, and a quick opportunity to put behind me the recent cup final defeat in India.
My team had other ideas, and 33 minutes in my 17 year old central midfielder put in a horror challenge. A straight red and we were up against it. Despite defending bravely, and even taking the lead with a penalty from foreign star centre back Gilson Correia, a 90th minute winner from Tampines debutant Marc Ryan Tan broke our hearts. I spent the winter drilling my team on the high press attacking football we would use to climb the table, and the results were evident. An opening day defeat belied our form, as we won 8 of our first 13 and led the league at the halfway point. At this point back to back defeats to fellow title candidates LC Sailors and Tampines hurt us, but those 3 defeats would be the losses all season.
A draw in the penultimate game meant little. Heading into the final game, the script couldn't have been written better. We were 'away', at our own stadium, to rivals Tampines. The equation was simple. Win and we were champions. Draw or lose and
