Title
The first chapter is now complete and ready for posting, delving into Louis' headspace after the canon events of Beastars. This opening chapter gets into the dream world of Louis and how it is affecting his life. His fears and wishes run rampant in his dreams, as he prepares to meet a mysterious investor for Horns Conglomerate by the alias of Gold.
The title "After the Silence Falls Silent" is a play-on-words because silence is as it is implied. You have to read further to figure out why I have selected such a title. All will be revealed soon.
A warning to readers (not like most will care cuz it does not go beyond Beastars limits): the story contains mature themes of blood & gore, sex, nudity, anxiety, depression, suicide, substance abuse, and coarse language. (Unlikely, but I have to leave this there in case someone reads it and gets triggered from the suicide content or something).
I am thinking about posting it to Google Docs first so readers can comment freely on it and offer proof-reading assistance.
Okay. Well, the original Chapter Two was complete garbage so I rewrote it almost entirely. A lot of re-wording, cutting out things, adding new material and reorganizing has been done. I like to think that it now flows better and fits into the Beastars world much easier than before. Chapter Three likely will be worked on too. Just going to rest for a couple hours now.
Still waiting to receive an invite to AO3, so it remains on Google docs for the time being.

It’s almost like the lockdowns did absolutely nothing other then ravage the economy and create the grubhub Netflix bubble that will burst once more states reopen.
Following the canon events of Beastars, Louis is having difficulties coping with all of the stress and depression that is hitting him hard. Struggles in his relationship is causing his mood to spiral, and when he closes his eyes, he has lucid dreams that leaves him a mess. He has been barred from seeing his friends because his wife believes he is expressing contempt for her. When in a meeting with a potential investor for Horns Conglomerate, the enigmatic and extremely charismatic German shepherd reveals he is establishing an economic powerhouse alliance that is seeking to undermine the current system maintaining society. But the new stresses of potentially becoming complicit in an inevitable plot to bring about change is overwhelming the new president of Horns Conglomerate. But the tantalizing offer of having an ally while he keeps being shunned from his wife keeps him present for the negotiations.
