A list of puns related to "Shepherd moon"
Hey guys! So, I'm fairly new to DnD and just started with my very first campaign! I'm currently a Lvl1 Druid who is proobably going to level up very soon and I'd like to ask some opinions on whether I should take the Moon Druid or Land Druid path.
Some information on the topic: Backstory-wise, my character would be tied to either Forest or Swamp Druid if I went the Land path. Unfortunately, basically everywhere I looked I read about how Forest and Swamp are the weakest Land Circles, which is a shame because Land Druid does sound like a lot of fun (utility wild shapes, a lot of spellcasting, which I've always enjoyed in every other RPG I've played and being able to annoy enemies with some difficult terrain during combat etc...) Then again, Moon Druids seem to be a lot of fun, too, and more focused on the one thing that makes Druids stand apart: wildshaping. Also, I think that our party might lack a "tank" character - we're four players, one Monk, one Warlock, one Bard and me, the Druid. I'm kind of unsure what I should do once I reach Lvl2, which will probably be next session, our first "real" session after our session zero (where we introduced the characters, the setting, started on our quest etc). Or would you guys maybe even consider going Shepherd Druid? All of them seem like they can be a lot of fun and I really could use some advice!
Iβm going into a gritty realism campaign (8 hour short rests 3 day long rests) and Iβm thinking of rolling up a druid, but Iβm not sure which to pick. They all get their signature abilities back on a short rest, and Moonβs wild shape is good if I wanna knock around in melee, but since my party already has a lot of melee fighters Iβd like to avoid it. Any and all advice or recommendations are much appreciated!
So I'm trying to decide on a Druid Circle for my Sea Elf Character. Currently, I'm trapped between Shepherd Druid and Moon Druid. The party currently only has one official front liner (Fighter) and the rest are various casters (Undead Warlock, Abjuration Wizard, and Draconic Sorcerer). I do like the summoning aspects of the druid class and that's something that brought me to it in the first place. However, the wild shape is a cool feature and It could aid being a frontline alongside our fighter should the need arise. The DM has also made it clear that I'll be allowed to choose my summons.
My current train of thought is I'm debating whether or not the bonuses from Shepherd druids summons are enough to make it better than the combat forms + the eventual elemental forms of Moon Druid alongside the Moon Druid also being able to summon the same creatures with less HP and non-magical attacks.
I probably will be picking up ritual caster (Wizard) and a 1 level cleric dip along the way as well if that influences the discussion.
Iβve levelled up my Druid elf to 2nd level, and I get to choose a circle for her before the next campaign. Iβve never played as a Druid before, and I canβt choose between these 4 circles! Any tips?
I'm creating a druid (first druid, not first character) and I can't decide which subclass to choose. I've read a bunch of guides and it seems like they all have their advantages, but I'm still on the fence about it.
If it helps, my party composition is 2 paladins (devotion, vengeance), and a celestial warlock. I'd appreciate any help on how to decide between them.

Hello, next week i'm gonna start my first 5ed campaign ever and it's gonna be a multi table adventure league campaign and i need some tips on how to make a good all rounder druid because after reading the manuals i'm underwhelmed and confused. After years spent playing the 3.5ed i finally decided to try the 5ed for the first time since an adventurers league campaign is starting in my town. I won't know the players at my table until the game start so i decided to play a druid because at least in 3.5 it was strong at all levels and absolutely the most versatile class, it could deal damage as a barbarian or cast as a wizard depending on the wild shape used or the spells prepared.
After reading 5ed player's handbook, sword cost manual, xanathar, monster manual and volo 's guide to monsters it seems the druid lacks a lot of damage dealing spells that were available to him in the previous editions and it's more focused on summoning and field control so i can't do the dps role, fine i'm cool with it let the others do the job while i control the field BUT it doesn't feel like i can do it properly anyway, it's like i'm always missing and option that i used to have and i'm going crazy.
Moon circle seemed to me at first the obvious choice at least at lower levels because of it's empowered wild shape but i feel since i won't be able to cast while shaped i'm gonna be just a punchable bag of meat. Sure at 2nd level i'ts op but at already at 4th level both damage and AC is gonna be lower than a melee character and i can't cast while wild shaped like 3ed so i'll be an underpowered melee character or am i missing something? I can increase my AC with Barkskin but that's it? If i want to control the field with something like entagle or do some dmg with flaming sphere (only 2d6 plus 1d6 each spell slot increased LOL) and then wild shape my AC is gonna be so low that i'm gonna lose concentration in the 1st turn so it's useless to go in melee. I fell like i'm always gonna be behind unless i find a way to find a good AC form that allow me to keep concentration on another spell but i couldn't find one. I found a good combo in giant octopus+barkskin for a grappling field control but it's gonna be boring to do it over and over in every encounter. What am i supposed to do as a moon druid? Be bad at everything? Because even if i play mostly as a caster the field control spells require concentration and the ones that doesn't are pretty pathetic like flaming sphere and doesn't do m
