A list of puns related to "Janus"
Going through the Spartan ops in the end librarian gave the key to Halsey, but in the escalation, she lost the key,
I wonder what would happen if UNSC or humanity in simple terms learned all of the forerunner technology secrets?
I hate everything, just burn it.
I bet Remusβs outfit was just romanβs but color swapped and Janusβs was like a random blanket tied around his arms and a fedora
No man can wear one face to himself and another to the multitude without finally getting bewildered as to which one is a German shepherd's shaved asshole.
From intel collected in Outbreak, we see a specific operation crop up similar to threshold and Inversion: operation Janus, which seemingly has focal attention of the top dogs at Requiem. Now, let's deconstruct this word, as Treyarch is unlikely to have hid that many layers behind its significance.
As per Google: Janus; A word of multiple meanings of which one is the reverse of another (e.g. cleave, meaning both to cut apart and to bind together)
alternatively
Janus; a Roman god that is identified with doors, gates, and all beginnings, depicted as one head with two opposite faces.
Now let's look at the theory surrounding the current leader of the dark aether:
Dark aether rifts are known to crop up all over the world or, recently as FBZ, have been activated manually, this is our door, gate, and the beginning. The actual roman god is huge in speculation, as one of the leading theories surrounding "the one" in Cold War is a beast made of both Dr. Monty and the Shadowman, fused together (this covers the "one head" with two "opposite faces") meaning that whatever the hell Operation Janus pertains to likely is designed to target The One directly.

We are part of the FutureDAMS team.
We are working on the interdisciplinary Design and Assessment of Mega Systems project. FutureDAMS is focusing on the sustainable development of energy, water, food and environment systems to align with the Paris Agreement, the international treaty on climate change. Our team specialise in the planning and politics of water and energy infrastructure, including dams.
The project aims to co-develop an approach and toolset to help design and plan better human interventions in complex human-engineered natural resource systems, with partners in Myanmar, the Volta basin (West Africa) and the Nile basin. Dams and systems of dams are conceptualised and assessed as water-energy-food-ecology system interventions that must deliver economic, social and environmental benefits and resilience under a range of plausible futures.
Inter- and cross-disciplinary research assessments will identify what has worked well historically and what needs improvement. A new framework for dam system decision-making will seek to enable the effective negotiated design of complex systems. FutureDAMS is co-develping a state-of-the art online integrated assessment modelling toolset for assessing and optimisng system designs. Factors to be explored include alternative operating regimes, locations and sizes of new infrastructure, trade-offs and synergies between alternatives and links with wider regional energy, food and economic production, and ecological, political and social systems. An online analytical and training toolbox will allow collaborative working between diverse groups such as local and regional stakeholder and sectoral groups, investors, planners, consultants and academics.

Loganβs been scared of clowns ever since Thomas was little and itβs something heβs really insecure about, he hates how illogical and silly it is to still be super afraid of clowns as a 30 year old man but he canβt help it. He feels like no matter what they are some how every where and like itβs their personal mission to ruin his life. One time thomas went to the circus and Logan thought he could handle its, spoiler alert: he froze in place when he got to the ticket booth and realized he was a clown, Patton had to escort him out of there just to calm down. Janus on the other hand is terrified of dogs because well... dogs are predators to snakes. He insists everyone else is absolutely crazy to not be scared of dogs since they are fast, have sharp teeth and make loud sudden noises. Every dog that Thomas has ever had Janus has absolutely hated and refuse to be around. Listen just because Logan is logic and Janus is big and scary that doesnβt mean they donβt have their own silly fears.
What do you do when you're the only sane one and everyone else is crazy?
On a routine patrol, an Earthfleet science mission finds an anomaly near an alien crash site at Kapteyn's Star. At least, that's how Lieutenant Dusilova remembers it. Why doesn't anyone else have any memory of the incident? And why has the captain set a course for Aldebaran?

After the disappointing OI numbers running up to First Intent for the July contract, I am trying to construct a theoretical model of how COMEX "spot" price interacts with "real" demand. This first draft, v0.1, is an attempt to model the basic parts and how they interact at the simplest level.
It's name comes from the 2 faces of the existing market, LBMA "spot" and COMEX "futures".
Part I: The basic equation
Primary Mine Production (PMP) is all mine production, because that starts the whole process.
Industrial Demand (ID) is anyone who locks up multi-month or multiple years of Silver production, regardless of price.
Recycling (R) reduces Industrial demand. Most the material recycled is recycled on a flow basis as fast as the recyclers can get it in (why pay to hedge your exposure) and often ends up going back to the same parts of the supply chain it came from.
(Side note: This is the most mysterious number, even CPM group admits they have issues calculating amounts in this area).
PMP - (ID - R) = Gross Available Silver (GAS). For v0.1, we are going to assume everything at the GAS has already gone through refining up to and meeting the .999 Good Delivery Bar (GDB) standard, even through some buyers use lower quality.
The reason for putting Industrial Demand up here in the model is that it gets first crack at the production. Mine production is capital intensive, and they want to have long-term contracts. Industrial demand is price-insensitive (does Toyoda or Nike care if they pay 5 percent more for Silver in the supply chain?) and can't be easily substituted while maintaining supply chains.
Part 2: Everyone else
Mints (M) are here. Other than perhaps government mints and particularly the US Mint (who really should be in it's own category in both size and market involvement), none of them have the capital structure or the reserves to simply go out and buy Silver no matter what the going price is. Look at how poor their margins were reported to be in the 2015-2019 range.
All retail demand, except for GDB, comes out of here.
Wholesalers (W) - While technically Wholesales can be both a broad and specific term, for v0.1, it's effectively anyone who uses their Balance Sheet to interme
