A list of puns related to "Shaper of Worlds"
With all the improvements to mega-structure's and habitats coming up, it might be a good time to consider a more organic approach to expansion.
Between ring worlds and habitats you will soon be able to build all the living space you will ever need. When you include the ecumenopolis from Arcology Project, your engineers will be revered as they provide the people with a limitless growth potential.
All of this leaves the World Shaper and Mastery of Nature Ascension perks fairly obsolete. My hope is that they could be changed to allow the player to terraform barren worlds, and perhaps repair toxic/cracked/broken/shattered worlds. Lets give the sociologists their time to shine by offering them more Worlds to Shape and a true Mastery of Nature.
In previous versions of the game making a change like this would have been far too powerful, but seeing as the engineers are going to be kicking things up a notch, I think this is a good time to expand the bounds of terraforming.

Several of my personal favorite authors on here with new short stories including Seanan McGuire, Tanya Huff and LE Modesitt.
Also includes previously released fiction from Scalzi, Czerneda, David Brin, Fonda Lee and several others.
Looks like the authors have tossed in several options for backer rewards including signed additions and character cameos.
Iβll admit I havenβt listened to the Worldshapers podcast yet, even though it won an Aurora last year. I was hoping someone more familiar would post this but it doesnβt look like itβs going to happen. Also good to note that over half the proceeds go to authors and the stretch goals are focused on compensating them even more.
Hm sounds familiar? Unfinished work
also, interesting info about the Scar, they aren't actually humanoid. instead they are a colony of insects that mimic the dominant lifeform in an area. inside their armor is, presumably, hundreds of thousands of insects forming together to look humanoid.
like the sandman from a nightmare before Christmas.
Hey,
I'm kaarlos and I'm a fairly avid Path of Exile player. I've played from since Tempest and have always enjoyed the random nature of Path of Exile. Whether it comes to crafting or finding gear, RNG plays an integral part - and I have no problem with this.
However, I think the system has gone too far when it comes to endgame RNG. I'm not talking about drop-related RNG, but the RNG of actually being able to actually reach the endgame. In particular, I'm really annoyed how much work and good luck you need to have in order to run Elder / Uber Elder / Shaper.
This expansion has been the one where I've played the most ever in a single league. I've leveled 4x 90+ characters (95, 95, 93, 92) and several lower ones this league. I've spawned Sirus probably around 10-12 times, killed Shaper 6-7 times / elder 4 times and related guardians many many times. After all this, I've only been able to get a full Uber Elder set a single time! I have several duplicate Shaper, Elder and Uber Elder fragments but due to bad RNG, I just haven't been able to get the relevant ones. I can't really "target farm" certain fragments, other than maybe picking the correct T16 metamorph bodypart and hoping for best.
See this image for example of how many fragments I have and what the problem is: https://imgur.com/a/43XqJTp (on top of this I have several duplicates of guardian maps, except the missing ones of course - just haven't bothered running them as I don't really get anything out of it)
You could argue that in a trade league I can try to find someone to trade guardian maps to other guardian maps with 1:1 ratio and both parties win. However, the reason I think this needs to be a built-in way of rerolling the guardian maps is that this is related to accessibility of playable content and not something like crafting materials.
My proposal would be to:
This would enable people to actually play the game in order to reach endgame content, instead of having to trade for it.

What do you guys think?
I know that they can be fought similar to synthesis bosses through Zana, but these are such rare ocasions. Can't they keep shaper, guardians and such in the atlas in some avaiable way?
Not sure if this allowed or not,but I was wondering how much you think I can get for this account? I was playing when the game first came out and got the Title of <World Shaper> on my priest which I think is rare correct? I don't play this game and don't plan on playing,so I figured I might as well sell it and get a couple dollars. Doing some research it seems level 110 acounts go for 150-200. My question is how desirable is the title I have? I also have a level 60 Elemental Warrior as well. When I played those were considered high level, but it seems they been increasing the level cap,so im sure 60 and 72 are noting special. What are your guys opinion? I'm thinking at most 70-80 bucks. Thank you!
first of all I like the game and the the "fresh" league, also like some of the ideas behind delirium.
Its just a frustrating feeling getting killed by such a minor thing. If I die to Shaper or Elder I know ive done something wrong or dont have enough life or w/e but with these on death effects I gotta admit Diablo 3 solves this way better. the visibily and damage of this on death effects in delirium just feels still off and overtuned and simply unfair.
Pretty much every battle is hovering around killing stone shapers or getting smoked from.behind by a stone shapers after just finishing a fight so pathetic the first few days were so much better cause people used other gauntlets now it just feels like I'm trying to fight an earthquake every match
And if not, why?
I loved the new atlas system but I still really missed being able to choose a map I liked to keep sustaining.
Introduction:
In a thread about Sulphite rebalance yesterday, u/Ouroboros612 posted a comment part way down a chain that read:
> Meanwhile my goal is to kill shaper for the first time. As it has been since war of the Atlas. Feelsbadman. I think I may be the worst PoE player in the community. Wish I had luxury problems like these :(
Being the nice guy I am, I responded as follows:
> What exactly is preventing you from killing Shaper? I'd be happy to offer some advice with whatever issues you are having.
I certainly didn't expect the large and sudden response in terms of upvotes and comments from additional users who are also struggling with their goal of defeating Shaper for the first time. So here is a (hopefully) brief written guide of some basic guidelines and strategies that should help you kill Shaper for the first time as a casual player.
Disclaimer:
Everything I say here is based on my own experiences with the game and is aimed at casual players. There is likely little helpful information for your here if you are a 1% player who is using opie shaped atlas strategies and whatnot. The information herein should be helpful for casual players who simply want to defeat Shaper. Additionally, I play exclusively softcore. If you are a new player who is forcing yourself to play hardcore for some reason, you might want to make the switch for a little while at least if you really want to kill Shaper or other endgame bosses. Sometimes you can't have your cake and eat it to.
1. Build Choice:
Your build choice for killing Shaper really isn't as important as some people would have you believe. If you've watched my stream or build guides you will know that I absolutely despise playing meta builds and exclusively create my own builds from scratch, usually with a heavy focus on doing things differently from everyone else.
In my opinion, there are only a few requirements you need to meet that will make the Shaper fight a breeze, even on your first time trying it. These requirements are very simple. First, you want at least 500,000 realistic DPS against Shaper. With this level of DPS, you can basically ignore the floating ground balls that explode and leave pools that degen you. Just trigger them wherever you feel like it because with 500k DPS you will easily phase/kill Shaper before they ever cover up enough of the arena to cause you any real problems.
Second, if you are a melee character, you need to have enough defenses (evasion/armour/do

I'm really new to making build guides so if you find anything in the guide that doesn't make sense or needs to be explained better please let me know so I can update the guide.

Something I haven't seen discussed on here yet, but may shed some light on the oft discussed topic of Knowers, Namers, Shapers, etc. The book does something rather clever when Kvothe is talking to Magwyn:
>βI would hear you say something,β she said, still looking intently at my hand.
>
>βAs you will, honored shaper of names,β I said.
>
>Magwyn looked up at Shehyn. βDoes he mock me?β
In first several read-throughs, I thought Magwynβs concern that Kvothe was mocking her was due to her suspicion that his reverence was sarcasm. Now, I donβt think thatβs the case.
The red herring in this passage is Kvotheβs use of the word βshaperβ of names. It sticks out because (1) of the obvious reference to the topic of Shapers/Knowers/Namers and (2) because itβs a very odd word to use and it makes the sentence clumsy; there were many better options that PR could have written that would have been far less clumsy, such as something like, ββ¦honored namer.β Thus, I think thereβs little doubt this was intentional. Itβs a rather nuanced and subtle craft on the part of PR.
Viewed in the light that Knowers and Shapers are on opposite sides of the philophical spectrum of Names, it WOULD be somewhat insulting of Kvothe to insinuate that Magwyn was a Shaper of names, rather than a Knower of names. This is a passage that should and needs to be discussed in the ongoing debates of what Shaper, Namers, and Knowers are.
Full disclosure, my personal opinion of this topic is: Knowers are content to know the names of things without attempting to change them (EDIT) or call them; Shapers are not content to simply Know a name, but need to manipulate names and change/create them. Iβm undecided as to where Namers fit in (whether they are closer to Knowers or Shapers or directly in between), but I tend to think that Naming is far from Shaping, and a little more than simply Knowing, such as calling a name.
This is the first league where I've removed maps from my atlas. After I got Uber Elder down a couple times, I removed the guardian maps from my atlas and started trying to sustain my Elder map (which even with chisels+zana+4sextants is pretty sketchy, god bless temples).
Then I felt like doing some Uber Elder again.
The cost to do so is pretty crazy. Removing the Guardian maps is nearly an exalt (12 master sextants + 4 scours).
Then, if you want to do Uber Elder again, it's 3 sets of guardian maps. 1st to reenter them into your atlas, 2nd to get elder influence on them, and 3rd to kill the Elder Guardians.
Not only that, but you can't even dedicate a character to Uber Elder and one to Elder maps since you share your damn atlas.
Maybe this is completely intended and how it should be, and I'm whining/complaining for no reason. But it just feels shitty having to choose between Uber Elder and your Elder Orb map, instead of Uber Elder being an epic boss you can work toward without restricting your normal gameplay.
I have used the search function and cannot find anything that fulfills what I am looking for so I am asking.
Currently what I do to my t16 maps is shaper scarab polished+, ambush polished+, legion or metamorph depends on layout. Sextant for pack size and or strongbox mods and run ambush on the map device also have bountiful traps prophecy to proc. I try to roll +1-3 to level of contained items and additional items per armor, jeweller, blacksmith box in hopes of hitting good shaper bases, I could run 3 delerium orbs aswell if it is worth doing.
Let me know how you would improve this.
I bought my friend about 60 sets in standard, about 1ex a set cause of bulk. She got it in 28 I have no idea how much I have left over but someone can have them for free if you plan on actually using them. Its kind of a giveaway but I am only gonna run it till tomorrow. Its not much but I figure if someone can use it awesome. I just ask that you dont sell them and you dont have like mirrors in your inventory, kinda for someone who cant really afford to buy a ton of them. Ill pick one random person who replies in the thread and probably give it late tonight or tomorrow after she signs on to give them back to me.
UPDATE: winners been notified in dm, if I dont hear back from him in by like tomorrow Ill message someone else.
UPDATE 2.0: pieces were delivered, sorry to all who didnt win but it was only 30 sets and was a lot of pressure to pick someone at random lol good luck
Didn't know where else to put this, but in case anyone cared.
Looking to buy a high quality handmade surfboard from a local shaper. Possibly custom depending on whatβs out there.
Doesnβt really matter where theyβre from Iβll drive anywhere just hoping thereβs some good ones in WA.
Nen Type: Conjuration
Conjures a simple shape of transparent matter akin to transparent plastic.
When "activated", they appear to "add" or "erase" an area of space-time, before turning into a star shape, floating at the epicenter of the effect. On the center of the shape, there is emblazoned either a plus symbol for Big Bang, or a minus symbol for Big Crunch.
This makes it "appear" as if space has been added. In actuality a Nen space has been overlaid over real space, made to replicate how it would look if space had genuinely been expanded.
Anything that isn't heavier than the average car will be harmlessly pushed out away from the epicenter during activation.
Afterwards, the "Added" nen space can be traveled through seamlessly.
For example, this could elongate a road, or make the space inside a house appear bigger.
Conditions:
The user must throw the shape at the desired point in space, and clap their hands together before moving them apart as if to go "bang". They must hold their hands like this for the duration of the activation.
The opposite of Big Bang. It overlaps a space and "erases" it, making it seem as if it no longer exists.
This is actually done by locking that space off, and replacing it with a area of about 0.5m m in area.
(slightly similar to Marayam's Nen Beast's ability)
Conditions:
The user must throw the shape at the desired point in space, and mesh their hands. They must hold their hands in that position for the duration of the activation.
(1) Only 50 meters of space can be "added" or "crunched" at a time within range of the user.
(2) Crunched space is considered to be worth 2x its expanded counterpart in regards to the space limit.
(3) Crunched space cannot be done on a space occupied by a living animal/person.
(4) This can only expand "open space" it overlaps.
(5) During the activation phase, if at any point the user's hands break out of position, the effect is canceled.
(6) Added/Crunched space will only survive for thirty minutes before evaporating away.
before i start here are some keynotes you should need to know:
Herald of Purtiy: > When you kill an enemy while you have this buff, this skill will summon a Sentinel of Purity, or refresh the duration and life of an existing one instead if you have the maximum number of them.
> Maximum 4 Summoned Sentinels of Purity
> 20% chance to Summon a Sentinel of Purity when you Hit a Rare or Unique Enemy
Guardian: > Radiant Crusade
10% more Damage while you have at least one nearby Ally
You and Allies affected by your Aura Skills deal 20% increased Damage
Herald of Purity has 40% increased Buff Effect
Summoned Sentinels of Purity have 50% increased Area of Effect
> Unwavering Crusade
Summoned Sentinels use Crusade Slam
100% increased Minion Accuracy Rating
Minions Intimidate Enemies for 4 seconds on Hit
If you've Hit an Enemy Recently, you and nearby Allies Regenerate 3% of Life per second
10% increased Area of Effect for each Summoned Sentinel of Purity
> I did not find any informations about a duration, but the Minions have only a certain life duration until they disappear
Since i decided to do a pure Summoner which means all the dmg comes from the Minions i will tell you my thoughts of this point of view (maybe they will be different from a Purity Summoner who has a second dmg Skill).
Here is a whole Shaper run where you can see some of the problems i mention below
artificial intelligence:
What i noticed very early while playing with these Minions is that the AI seems to be the worst of all Minions in Wreaclast. Sometimes the Minions run straight in one direction and try to kill an enemy 100m away from you while a Rare is right next to you. So you have to call them to you and hope they recognize it. You will see something similar in my Shaper Video where i died to normal enemys.
And sometimes they just sit next to you and do nothing, looking around while the enemy hordes are hunting you like a chicken.
When it comes to single target like Bosses its no problem and works very good. The minions just throw themself on the target and beat him to death. All fine.
My Suggestion: So i wonder if there is a priorized target and if not i think the best solution for this problem would be that the Minions always attack the nearest enemy to your Character.
Sustain:
As i wrote before you have two different way to sustain your Minions. Kill enemys by yourself or hit
