A list of puns related to "SPC"
I know a lot of yβall think tiktok and military should not go together. Which I believe there is a time and place. However there is a situation that is spreading awareness. Recently a medic that makes mind I say hilarious videos, and also brings awareness to sharp and mental health posted a video. A video calling out an NCO. This specific NCO made a very messed up video making fun of sexual assault. She did the right thing in calling him out. She kept it tactful and professional. He did make the video public after all. Not to mention people started calling her racist and attacking her in the comments. When not once was race mentioned in her videoβ¦ Unfortunately her chain of command was contacted and she was reprimanded. Not only that but allegations about her being homophobic, racist etc. If you just watch a few of her videos you would know this is not the truth. Due this she was told to take all her videos in uniform down and to not post in it anymore. All because she did the right thing. Is this the army we are part of? This NCO received no punishment. But the specialist that did the right thing did? It sickens me that this is something that not only happens, but continues to happen. He is supposed to be leading and teaching soldiers. Not to mention he had numerous other videos that I would deem questionable. How we supposed to trust our leaders when they do bs like this? This is not okay. We need to do better. End rant.
No food order today. Iβm not hungry after this bs.
EDIT: I do agree that TikTokβs in uniform should just not be a thing anymore. That doesnβt down play this situation. Itβs not so much that itβs on tiktok. But this kind of situation in general regardless of of platform etc happens. It shouldnβt. If you do something messed up hold yourself accountable. Have some damn integrity.
EDIT: yβall this wasnβt supposed to be an argument about tiktok. This post was meant to be about how people in leadership have this kind of behavior and arenβt held accountable for it. We are told to come forward with our issues. We are told to go through the chain. But how are we supposed to do this when these kinds of people regardless of male or female are our TLs, SLs, etc. We need to do better.
EDIT: Look I donβt post on tiktok, I use it as a way to escape from my boring ass day to day life. That and I occasionally can see a dog.
Whatβs some side things i can do to make more money. iβm thinking about doing this coding program and get into that, iβm also going to start investing but i have to do more research on that. If thereβs anything yβall recommend that i could look into that would be great!
I had recently reconnected with a Soldier that I was close to while serving at Ft.Stewart.
Born in Kenya, Spc M came to the United States on an exchange program through the University of Texas. Spc M wanted to work for the Kenyan Goverment as an advisor and was studying Economics.
Thoroughly enjoying the United States, particularly the Women, Spc M joined the Army to work towards citizenship.
Spc M and I met through discussions of distance running during PT. We had gone on a 5 miler to which Spc M ran and maintained a 5:30-6 pace no matter the weather or terrain.
Fast Forward to Spartan Games a.k.a Mandatory Fun Week. One of the events was a spear throwing competition that everyone was failing at in spectacular fashion. No one in my Unit had volunteered so the CO asks for suggestions.
Without missing a beat, the Medic PSG yelled βhow about M?β Everyone laughed, everyone except the CSM, he went into a full on rage. The rage in part was due to the 1SG of C.Co landing into a world of trouble following a PT incident in which he tied ropes around the necks of Soldiers and had them pull said 1SG on the Company Chariotβ¦β¦β¦..all the Soldiers were black (really not a good look)
Not deterred by the Homicidal Rage of the CSM, Spc M steps up and volunteers. While most Soldiers were throwing and sticking a spear no more than 5-10 yards. Spc M launches and sticks an almost 60 yard throw.
We all stood there in shock and silence while Spc M turns around and asks βdid I win?β
Why do some people, from what I have noticed NCOs, have a problem with people joining as a SPC from having a college degree?
Had a Major salute me a specialist because he thought I was a LT Colonel XD It really threw me off to be walking up to the gate and a Major start saluting me I know I made a slightly confused face but I did what all good noodles and saluted back. As I got closer he realized what had happened and we had a good laugh about it. All in all brass, at least past butter bars, are generally good guys just make sure you cross your Tβs and dot your Iβs
Has anyone heard of being denied specialist? What is even the process of getting specialist, I thought at your two year mark you just get it and it shows on your ERB??

I hope you see this and have an amazing holiday. O7 Lifeliners
Got the SPC and the AXL Equinox cummerbund (and it's associated tubes adapter.) Since this is my first 'structural cummerbund PC', how are you running your side plates and radio?
Was looking at the Crye Airlite radio pouch or AXL B-Wing, but it looks like it's made to go under the cummerbund, in the same spot a side plate would go.
I've run a radio and soft armor stacked under the bund liked that and it was...less than ideal. And I feel like mounting the radio pouch on a wing flap outside the bund/front plate bag with the aforementioned pouches would just flop around a lot.
I don't want to move to a pouch molle'd to the bund at that position (would prefer that for a mag pouch) but it seems like that's the direction I'm headed.
Hoping to hear some advice/see some gear pics.
Hello guys, I am a newbie to neural nets and statistics. I need your help I have 6 data patterns in a quality control chart and I need from those 6 graphs to generate more of each of them in order to use them to train a neural net to identify them in random charts. I have tried using Gaussian distribution noise but something doesn't work well. I prefer using python to generate them. I must use statistical processing control techniques such ANOVA etc to find those before feeding them to neural nets. Any help is valuable
Hi everyone,
For a couple of days, I've been trying to keybind SPC-SPC (now find-file or project-find-file) to a bottom popup that would display easy navigation to my files.
Possible solution - method 1 (modifying the blow code snippet):
Here's the simple popup code (works perfectly and gets activated upon "SPC e")
(map! :leader
(:prefix ("e" . "open config files")
:desc "alacritty.yml" "a" #'(lambda () (interactive) (find-file "~/.config/alacritty/alacritty.yml"))
:desc "nvim" "n" #'(lambda () (interactive) (find-file "~/.config/nvim/init.vim"))
:desc "polybar" "p" #'(lambda () (interactive) (find-file "~/.config/polybar/config")))
But I'd like to use "SPC SPC" instead of "SPC e". When I change :prefix from "e" to "SPC", I get: "Key sequence SPC starts with non-prefix key SPC. Is there a way to bind "SPC SPC" to a similar navigation?
Possible solution - method 2 (creating custom function):
I managed to get "SPC SPC" execute "my-own-nav-function" (or any other function... see the code below), but then I'm stuck on a function definition.
(map! :leader
:desc "navigation function" "SPC" #'my-own-nav-function)
The function that I tried to create is this:
(defun my-own-nav-function ()
(interactive)
:desc "alacritty.yml" "a" #'(lambda () (interactive) (find-file "~/.config/alacritty/alacritty.yml"))
:desc "nvim" "n" #'(lambda () (interactive) (find-file "~/.config/nvim/init.vim"))
:desc "polybar" "p" #'(lambda () (interactive) (find-file "~/.config/polybar/config")))
I can navigate to it via M-x and execute it, but it doesn't do anything. If I could get that function work, I would solve my problem.

Can somebody help me please?
Many thanks
Note: I'm running Doom Emacs on Linux (GNU Emacs 27.2)
So thereβs a 6 year SPC and he told me at 4 years TIS and 2 TIG Iβll get my p status automatically for E-5 I was just wondering if anyone knew if this was the case
If you haven't read my other stories, my foot was partially smashed during the mobilization home. The super short version is below, taken from A saga about SPC BikerJedi's Toe, about when the brush guard on a HMMWV fell on my foot:
>At this point I'm so tired I'm practically hallucinating, swaying on my feet trying to stay awake. I remember standing there in the balmy heat of 0800 Saudi Arabia, which was roughly 500Β°F, thinking, "Damn, I'm fucking tired. This feels like being drunk. What the fuck is this? I can't open this shit. Lesseee....pins. Take the pins out." Bam - that fucking thing falls on my right foot and crushes it. They are heavy. It seems that someone had already walked down the line and pulled the top two pins out so we could open the hood to clean the engine. I didn't see that because of sleep deprivation. My entire right toe is obliterated. The bones higher up are fractured. I went into shock immediately and felt no pain. I was wearing standard issue jungle boots. As a matter of fact, I still have the pair I wore to Iraq. No toe protection.
This is a story about that last day in the hospital.
That last day at the MASH hospital in Saudi Arabia is one I won't forget. Day 23. Not because it was dramatic or anything. I just got to go home, but not the way I wanted. I was supposed to go home with my unit. Home to a well earned beer and some leave to see the family. Home on a nice, civilian airline with pretty flight attendants who were glad to see us. Nope. Not me. Day 23 was a a normal day until it wasn't. I got up. I ate the crappy food. I gimped to the porta-potty and took a shit. I smoked some cigarettes. Then I went back in to my "room" to relax and read.
Up until Day 23, it had been boring. Almost as bad as being on the Vulcan in the desert for six months. At least I had some new company in the hospital. New faces to talk to. The other E4 getting out for ulcers. The kid with the broken leg. The E5 who was shot and was getting the Enemy Marksmanship Badge. (That's a Purple Heart to you civilians.) The LT who was also hurt in an accident and didn't want to talk to anyone. Those of us that were ambulatory hung out together when we went outside the "room" we were in.
About two weeks prior, my CO and 1SG came in to check on me and left after a couple of minutes. A 5/62 ADA was going home without me. They let me know I'd be on

So I see the JPC 2.0 always popping up in conversations, or posts about wanting to get a 2.0. But I never seem to see the SPC in these conversations.
Any reason why the SPC doesn't get the same love as the 2.0?
