A list of puns related to "Ssa"
I feel like I mostly see posts from people who are seeking diagnosis, rather than people who are already diagnosed, so I'm just curious what the makeup of this group is.
PS I know you can be diagnosed via just lip biopsy (seronegative), but I'm specifically asking how many people are SSA+ since those with SSA face unique challenges. Thanks!
I posted before my rankings of the best teams in the world (and a rating of the regions). Here's a breakdown of the top 20 and why each team is where they are.
I had to change the model around a little bit, because I discovered I incorrectly imputed Game 5 between Ground Zero and Envy as having been won by Ground Zero; which has ripple effects for the regional power rankings, meaning it affected every team's rating at least a little bit. Here's the revised regional table, with OCE having fallen below MENA.
Included in my rankings, I borrowed the likelihood of superiority metric from the computer chess world, to give a sense of how uncertain all this is, and how it's depressingly difficult to ever know which of two teams is the better one (the LOS is the likelihood that a team is better than the team that's directly below them on the list).
Note that LOS will be higher within regions because for cross-region comparisons, I'll be including uncertainty about regional strength in LOS calculations.
Also, SSA isn't included because they weren't in the Major, so I don't have a means of calibrating their teams with the rest of the world (I have an unfortunate suspicion they would perform like Verdy, but you never know).
The SRS numbers are the goal differential of a team, normalized for an average opponent, from an average region (although the average region doesn't actually exist; NA and EU are markedly better than average, and the other regions are markedly below average). In terms of goals, the numbers can be converted pretty directly; so if one team is 1.00 and another is 0.50, the first team would be expected to beat the second by an average of half a goal per game.
You can also refer to this chart, which converts a difference in SRS into a percentage chance of winning head-to-head in a given match (not the same as LOS). If a favorite is a quarter-goal better than their opponent, for example, that translates to a roughly 57% chance that they'll win an individual game, 65% for them to win a BO7, and 72% for them to win a BO7 set.
The original post (the first link) gives a detailed explanation of my methodology on the last two slides.

Surprise letter arrived in my mail today from the Dept of Education. It said that my student loans are forgiven after SSA matched me up with the big list of delinquent Guaranteed Student Loan recipients.
They certified me to Dept Ed as Fully & Permanently Disabled. So all loan principal and interest is cancelled, the government having paid only a token amount to holders of the notes.
Thank you, SSA, Dept Ed, Biden Administration, and all you Democrats in Congress!
Hello everybody, long time lurker, first time poster.
I would like to ask a question: in these days I am migrating a PBI model to SSAS, as I developed it on PBI to test the many measures present. I'm encountering a weird problem, as the SSAS model, when connected to PBI, is 3 times slower: it takes 45 seconds to calculate a table with 9 measures whereas the very same table, using with the PBI Model, is calculated in only 15 seconds.
I thought that SSAS would speed up the calculations.
Do you know how, or where I should start fixing it? I have been looking for answers online but the sources online mainly refer to multidimensional models (mine is tabular).
Thank you all for your help
Hi everyone, I am in the process of getting my name legally changed, and I have received my court order and everything. I know this is enough to change my name, however I am unsure if this is enough to βproveβ my gender. On the SSA website, it says βCourt order directing legal recognition of change of gender.β My court order is from NJ who doesnβt require any proof of medical transition to change your name.
Basically my court order only has my new name on it, nothing to do with gender at all. My question is, would my court order be recognized by the SSA as valid proof that I am changing my gender too? Or would I have to get a medical letter from my doctor (who is unfortunately out on medical leave :( )?
The other options donβt apply to me because I need a passport with my new gender, which i canβt get unless my gender on my social security card is changedβ¦ and I need my new social security card to get an amended birth certificate with my new genderβ¦
Thanks everyone :)
Edit: Upon further research, I found old information about birth certificate change in NJ, turns out all I need is my court order of name change. Anyway, thank you all again for reading :)
I am on the SSA list and not eligible for AGPA exam. A lot of the jobs are βAGPA but will consider SSA.β It is worthwhile to apply for these jobs when it looks like what they want is an AGPA?
Hi Fire Team!
I own a small business (UK Ltd company) that has been ramping up nicely over the last 10 years. I getting that age (mid-40s) where my wife and I need to think more seriously about pensions. We've about Β£200,000 between us scattered around in pretty standard personal pensions, but we've got the opportunity before the end of the tax year to do about Β£120,000 each (Β£240k total) in back-dated pension contributions. We're both employed by our Ltd company. Happy days!
I was thinking about a Vanguard SIPP, but my accountant is pushing for a SSAS (linked to our company) as he says it's more flexible. Has anyone else got any experience of SSAS? What are the pros and cons?
Cheers!
I was SO excited about interviewing for SSA for Caltrans. I did my research, studied the duty statement, felt excited that my writing and proofreading skills match what theyβre looking for. And I bombed it. I got so nervous, my mind blanked out, and I stuttered quite a bit. Of what good does it do to be proficient at something if you canβt communicate it to the panel? I feel so disappointed in my myself. They were very nice, of course, but Iβm sure secretly they thought βno way! Next.β ππ The thing is, I could do the job, I just got nervous being the center of attention of a panel. And preparing so much for it seems to have had the opposite effect. There have been other interviews I donβt prepare for at all and I ace them. Wow, this sucks.
