A list of puns related to "Rûm"
The results of my Mamluks into Rûm campaign. Do you guys think I'm finally ready to play an Ironman game? Ulm, Brandenburg, Denmark and Muscovy are my marches

Also I got two colonies per colonial region because I gave 5 provinces in each region to my faithful Leonese vassal, then I annexed León and fixed the borders by abusing the fact you can force your colonies to declare independence war on you

it may be sound a bit weird since they are very same while Rûm has much cooler flag and map color
I'm trying to play Karaman -> Rûm for a Hero's Welcome, but the lack of Rûmi flavor and missions is kinda making me not want to do it. I feel like a nation as historically interesting as Rûm is wasted with no missions. (I'd be turning on the mod after getting the achievement).
Before I culture switch to Turkish the only places I plan on stating are the Ethiopian Gold Mines and Anatolia, everything else will be fed to vassals or turned into TCs, what ideas do you guys recommend? I was thinking this:
Diplo
Quantity
Influence
Admin
Humanist
Quality
Economic
Offensive
Are there any mods that add a mission tree to Rûm because after forming it and grabbing the decently easy achievements, I feel as if I would get very quickly. The ideas are great I just wish they would add a mission tree.
Would it be possible to form Rûm as the Mamluks, conquer Ethiopia then release Semien, then integrate them. After integrating them, would those provinces be Jewish and from there could I spawn Jewish rebels? If there is an easier way to become Jewish after forming Rûm plz let me know because you need to start off sunni to form Rûm.
I have recently been trying to come up with a strategy to form Rûm in a semi-timely manner. I’m having a really hard time defeating the ottomans fast enough as Karaman. The fastest I’ve been able to form it in Ironman is about 1600 which I feel like is way way longer than a good execution would take. I was just wondering if anyone had a good opening strategy for Rûm as it’s a nation I’d like to play in a multiplayer lobby with my friends but the way I’m doing it now is not fast enough to be viable. I have about a thousand hours in the game which I know isn’t a lot but I definitely wouldn’t say I’m new. Any help is greatly appreciated.
So i've tried creating the Sultanate of Rûm and got quite close but the problem for me is that i cant get any allies and my army is too small. So my question is can you create Rûm with a nation that is bigger than Karaman?
I'm actually working on a mod for CK2, and part of it is forming Rum as an Empire in that game. I was hoping to give it the same realm color as Rum in EUIV since it's very visually pleasing from the screenshots I've seen, but I don't actually own EUIV myself so I can't dig through the files to find it out.
So my request is, can anyone who owns the game just go into their files and read out the color values for the "formable nation" of Rûm to me? If it's anything like CK2 it should just be three numbers in a bracket, something like "color = { 12 160 255 }"
Please and thank you!
Is no-CB vassalizing Byzantium then right after that declaring reconquest war on Ottos a viable strategy? Do I need to damage Ottos as much as possible bf they get military tech level 4?
On the wiki it says Rûm is an endgame tag but Persia isn't, and all you need to form Rûm is to have Turkish primary culture and own the right provinces, so since Aq Qoyunlu can form Persia can they form Rûm after? Asking because it seems like Aq Qoyunlu is in a great position to get the This is Persia achievement, but since Persia's ideas aren't as good as Rûm's I'd rather play them afterwards
I saw Alazbo HDs video and he talked about their interesting mission tree and I’ve spent the past day or so trying to form them. All the guides are a year or two old and pretty outdated so they aren’t much help. My strategy mainly has just been conquering ramazan and dulkidir but with the new land my force limit is still pretty low and since Aq Qoyunlu always allies with ottomans I can’t push into any new lands. Does anyone have a guide that works?

Problem: Ottomans will attack within the month, and my only ally in the Mamluks doesn't defend me.
Helpful info: After winning the first war vs Ottomans handily, I couldn't give Mamluks enough provinces to prevent loss of trust because they didn't want even provinces they had marked as of interest. While I was recuperating and slightly expanding into the east, they unabashedly expanded into the balkans, and now they are attacking me again, and my only ally in the mamluks is off fighting in Africa, and will not defend me. Do I stand a chance? I don't think it's possible to win solo or come back from a defeat here and form Rûm, as is my goal in this campaign, but I'd love to be proven wrong.
Poland is hostile because they want some of my provinces. Candar is my vassal. My economy is fairly decent, but my horrible starting ruler lived until he was almost 70 so I'm doing very bad on admin and diplo tech. In my most recent war I fully annexed Trebizond, which are the three provinces to the east of Candar.
But once I formed Rûm my heir is a Burji, why is that?
