I grew up in a lower class family. Roseanne was the closest thing to my family on television. I saw real things on there, and always grew up wanting a marriage like Dan and Roseanne (minus the cheating). I love the original Roseanne, it is one of my favorite shows and we watch it all of the time in our house (thank you, Amazon Prime). Apart from the controversial tweets,Roseanne Barr has been really problematic to me for years now. However, I feel so bad for her because it really seems like she struggles with a lot of mental illness. With this said, I still wont watch The Conners without Roseanne. I think she made a mistake, but Roseanne is no racist and in fact was very progressive for so long...also I think its fucked they killed her off with a drug overdose when she had no prior history of drug abuse.
She’s not in the IMDB credits, (and I haven’t finished the episode yet to see if there are credits at the end), but I just watched the scene where Alma buys the fabric. When I saw the face, I thought she looked like a skinnier, blonde Roseanne, and then when she said, “This should do it”, I was absolutely certain!
I read that many networks were interested in reviving Roseanne, but Sara (I think) chose ABC because that's where the original show aired. But imagine if they went with NBC or CBS or a streaming service that is not owned by Disney. Would we be on Roseanne Season 13 right now? Or would we still have The Conners?

This is bullshit. She meant well. It wasn't like she was calling black people apes like Roseanne. (Who IS an idiot and a bad person with a dumb ass show that I never liked anyway) Trump does look like an orangutan though, now that I think of it. He is like Dr. Zaius!
