I’m not even an A’s fan, so I find it odd that this seems to be the case. Prob some players I’m overlooking.
so i'm working my way towards the mvp bellinger in BR and i recently unlocked the signature rollie fingers card. i've never used him competitively and i was wondering if any seasoned online players have any reviews or tips for using this card?
Rollie Fingers iconic mustache was actually only grown by him to get a $300 bonus from Athletics owner Charles O. Finley. On the first day of spring training for the 1972 season, Reggie Jackson showed up with a beard. In a protest and believing the A’s management would want Jackson to shave; Fingers and a few other players started going without shaving to force Jackson to shave off his beard. Instead, Charles O. Finley, who would do almost anything to sell tickets, then offered prize-money to the player who could best grow and maintain their facial hair until Opening Day. Fingers went all out for the monetary incentive offered by Finley and copied his moustache after the images of the players of the late 19th century. Taking it even further, Finley came up with "Moustache Day" at the ballpark, where any fan with a moustache could get in free.

Yeah, I get that any pitcher can suck/be awful on All Star difficulty, but man I've never struggled with someone more than Fingers. Maybe it's because everyone's seen him at this point or that lineups are just that much better, but I swear anything I throw in the zone gets hit 450 feet, and anything I throw out of the zone is check swing heaven for the opponent.
I've tried many different ways to pitch with him, from North/South and East/West, sinker inside to righties, and mixing my pitches, but anything I do gets destroyed. Just wondering if anyone else has struggled with him, and those who haven't to give some tips. Or maybe just avoid using him in anything other than mop up until I get back to DS.

Anybody who picked him, some reviews about him please. Thinking about getting since I hit pretty well against Kluber so I don't wanna take him first... Newhousers control is too low for me. And Minoso and Rickey ain't there when comparing to pitchers
