As coaster enthusiasts, I think a lot of us can relate in that we don’t experience the “stomach dropping” sensation much anymore, however, is there any particular element that still causes that feeling for you? Mine would be Xcelerator’s launch and Twisted Colossus first drop in the back row.
Basically, it would be an immelman leading straight into a mid-course brake run with no drop between (kind of like Yukon Striker, without that little dip), followed by a dive loop immediately upon exit (almost exactly like Lost Gravity does). I think it would produce some interesting forces, especially on a Steel Curtain-esque coaster. Is this idea realistic at all, or seen on any real-life rides?
....are there any roller coasters you can think of in Europe that have anything even remotely similar to it??
Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 and 3 were both fantastic games because they offered a great building system. I never really enjoyed dealing with money or customer satisfaction, though.
I tried Cities Skylines, but without using a bunch of mods and save hacking, it's not possible to remove all of the management elements from the game.
I want a game with a fantastic building system. No money concerns, traffic jams, fires, election BS or random alien invasions. Just pure creative mode.
Or does characteristic of smell )can smell the release of the car (i am not realizing that actually works? How could I possibly have 1% Papuan and 1% Native American from the wire connected to a fax machine does?
I love floater airtime hills, overbanked curves, rolls in general, and dive loops. And of course, a large or steep drop is always the best way to start off a ride imo.

So lately I've been experimenting creating roller-coasters with elements inspired by various knots. Some of the ones I've done so far have been based on reef knots and bowline knots.
I want to see what other elements can be created in RCT that mimic the twisting nature of knotted rope. To make it a challenge of sorts for the folks on here.

And I don't mean the GP, but enthusiasts. What's something lots of people believe about roller coasters as a field, or a specific roller coaster, or theme parks, but has either been disproven or you know isn't true?

I’ve had to work hard to lose weight before and that’s what we call a “non scale victory,” it made me so happy to see him giddy to be able to ride it.

I was on a roller coaster (I guess if you can consider it that), its one of those water rides that have tracks to pull it. Anyways, the boat fits like 6 people in it, and I was with a family of 5. I was in the back, and when we were going up to the top, they asked me to duck down as when we're going straight down there will be a photo and they wanted a family photo.
I'm not sure if its against the rules, I think I would've been safe if i did it, but I really just didn't want to and I felt like I shouldn't have to duck for them so I said no. The parents kept arguing with me telling me to duck so they can have their family photo and they called me a spoilt brat, I told them to go fuck themselves and then we started going down. This is where I may have been the asshole, I flipped off the camera and made a funny face with my tongue out.
Holy shit when they looked at the photos they were livid, saying I ruined their opportunity to have a nice family photo. They asked where my parents where and I told them to get lost. Their kids were just laughing their asses off. I'm not sure if they bought the photos or not. THe dude who operated the photos said I was immature and I need to grow up
Also like, I literally have nothing in between these 2 moods.
