Currently living in Dallas. I was at the Rangers game last night and noticed they were selling memorabilia from Globe Life Park (The Ballpark in Arlington), which is in its final season. They had the outfield flags (which used to fly on the centerfield poles now full of only Texas flags) of all 30+ ball clubs. I asked if they had the Rays available. Sure enough they did, so I snagged them.
Long story short, my family is from Texas and I grew up in this ballpark before we moved to Florida and became Rays fans. I plan to give one to my dad for his birthday.

What do you think are some possible names and naming rights for the new Rays Ballpark that will be built in Ybor City? I’m assuming naming rights will be one of the ways to fund the new stadium.

I'm working with an animal system, where we don't get all the kind of information that you get with human ones. However, I've seen very confusing remarks about the dose we're giving. So I feel very worried about increasing the dose even if the image quality is poor.
So, let's suppose I know exclusively that I have an x-ray tube, with known kV, the mAs and the source-skin distance.
Would it be wrong if I did the following calculation?
Get the output in term of air kerma/mAmin at 1m from one ICRP33 figure, like fig 11, extrapolating at 0 mm shielding. It seems like noone published similar plots/tables in more recent times.
Then, I multiply this number for the mAs and correct for the square distance. This way I get an entrance dose on the skin. Then I compare the path of x-rays at that kV in water to the animal "diameter" and average entrance, center and exit dose in a CTDI kind of way. (BTW, given the diameters we're talking about exit dose is going to be like 1/8 of the entrance, not a huge attenuation)
Would you think this is accetable?
I just need to know wheter I'm giving the organs something around 1 mGy, 10 mGy or 100mGy
The Rays have been very active in getting feedback from fans for the ballpark prototypes and what should and should not be a part of the new Rays ballpark experience. We've seen them talk about the fountains, beach seating, restaurants, etc. Hopefully they don't gimmick it up too much because there is some great potential here.
What would you like to see from the potential new ballpark?
What I'd like to see:
Outdoor activities like shops, music, seating, and vendors.
Outdoor screen for live games, movies on non game days, watch parties.
KEEP THE UNLIMITED DRINK/POPCORN DEAL LOL
More of the Manta Ray logo PLEASE.
Upgrade the Ray tank to a larger capacity and certainly keep it.
