A list of puns related to "Rainy Day Women β―12 & 35"
I canβt figure out if this song is about literally being stoned to death or being high ...or both. I canβt find the answer on the internet so I came here to ask, thanks :)
I mean, after the first time hearing Rainy Day Women, is there any novelty left save for the fact that twelve and thirty-five multiplied is 420?
So I'm listening to Blonde on Blonde by Bob Dylan and the first track is Rainy Day Women #12 & #35 (AKA 'Everybody must get stoned).
For shits and giggles I multiplied 12 by 35 and guess what I got. 420.
That's all. Peace out.
I don't care for it. I thought it was really retarded the first time I heard it.
I actually realized that he's probably not talking about people getting stoned on marijuana, he's probably saying "everybody must have rocks thrown at them sometimes". That makes a lot more sense. "They'll stone you when you're trying to go home" actually makes sense now.
But I still don't like it. I can't believe such an amazing album starts off so poorly. But I wonder, does anybody here like it?
