Electrification, roads, railways, telegraph, electrification, airfields, channels and other infrastructure
I wish there were more types of infrastructure, than in Vic2. It should give different industrial, production, military and standart of living bonuses.
- Roads. Cheap to maintain, can be improved since the beginning
- Railroad. Expensive to maintain, needs researches, employs many POPs, but gives great bonuses, for example, when expanding trade sphere
- Channel. Expensive to build, cheap to maintain. Bonuses are pretty similar to railroad's. Rivers can play the same role
- Telegraph. Employs literal POPs, influences your politics and provides military bonuses
- Electrification. Expensicve to maintain, provides numerous industrial bonuses and allows different options, such as aluminium production
- Airfields. Space for airships and planes. Employ many POPs and increase standart of living

Why two types of railway electrification?
Hi guys, I have an engineering related question.
How come there are two different types of electrification on the network? I.e. with some using AC 25kv overhead lines and others using DC 750v third rails?
Is one better than the other? And what are the relative advantages and disadvantages of the two systems?

Here's a locomotive called WAGC3 of the Indian Railways. It's a Twin electric locomotive of 10000 HP, converted from two diesel locomotives(WDG3A) by Diesel Locomotive Works, Varanasi.
