A list of puns related to "Radioman"
Like in the game. What does He do?
I'm new so normally I always play riflemen or medic if available but today the guy who play radioman quit and I thought I would try , in other game radioman is like the mean for SL to use ability or something so I thought how hard could it be just stick to SL . I try to learn it by myself first , so I learn that Radioman could refresh rally in this first time in this role but thing I really like is M1 carbine , it got less range than Garand but really good at closer range , it got really high rate of fire and ammo in magazine , for me if I could choose I would choose this one over Garand haha. So anything more I should know about being Radioman?
Iβm not sure if anyoneβs talked about this yet (Iβm new to the sub and Reddit) but I was just watching Elf and spotted Moonvest and had to know more. Apparently Moonvest, better known (outside of this sub) as Radioman for the radio he was often seen wearing around his neck is a formerly homeless man who has been in over 100 movies and Tv shows. From what Iβve read he was discovered by Robin Williams who was playing a homeless man in The Fisher King. Filming in Central Park the two literally ran into each other and Robin Williams got him cast. And apparently his networth (according to a random website) is ~1.3 million as of 2021. Such a heartwarming story, had to share! Thereβs even a documentary about him! But to me he will always be the guy who wants fingernails and to eat shrimp at a wedding thanks to Jacks charity that gives homeless people suits. πMoonvest/Radiomanβs Instagram
What Title says, Just now i have finished the game with both of these achievements but didnt get any multipliers, was something changed?
God, Radioman when you're on obj when the enemy is damn near on top of you is the fucking BEST. It's high adrenaline with intense action. Where any second could be your last and you have to defend your CO and yourself for the sake of the game. Where any fuck up is it, objective lost. Those moments where you dump a mag into an attacker full auto. Those are what I love when playing Radio. Completely badass. I run folding stocks as Radio just for that. That glorious moment when you fire at a group and watch them fall, content that you're doing exactly what you need to be doing.
Engineer
#New Buildings
#Field hospital: A global medkit for everyone to use has 20 uses for each soldier all you have to do is get to the field hospital and press T
Anyone killed at 2 meters (Enemy or Friendly) near the Field Hospital will be downed everytime (except for explosives and headshots)
However it can be only built twice
It looks like a bunch of medkit boxes lying around (similar to an ammo cache)
#Medium Machine Gun
Basically a stationary Machine gun built faster than the AA gun and the Cannon and has a higher firerate and costs less but is useful only against infantry and has limited rounds
Germany: MG42 on a Tripod
Russia: Maxim's M1910
America : Browning M1919 A4 .30 Caliber
Built only twice
#Cam Net
A defensive building which hides Enemy pings for Enemy aircraft
Example if an enemy pings an Friendly tank which is stationed inside a camnet Enemy Aircraft do not receive the ping
Built only 10 times
#Field High Power Radio
A higher Power Radio antenna which allows for real time intel requires 2 people to operate A radio operator and a sighter
The radio operator is a passive position meanwhile the sighter uses Binoculars to give realtime locations of Enemies in his line of sight to friendly aircraft , tanks and any squad with a radio operator However there are a few exceptions
Enemy Recon squads when prone cannot be pinged
Enemies inside buildings and behind cover cannot be pinged
Enemies inside of cam net cannot be detected by Enemy aircraft
#Radio Operator
#Changes to Artillery strike It can be only called 2 times per squad and can be increased to 4 times through radioman squad upgrades
#New Support strike
#Independent Strikes Smoke screen: Fastest deployment time and Fastest cool down can be called 5 times
It puts down a cloud of smoke to help push to objective
#Team based strike
#Request Supply drop The player has to specify a drop zone and then whenever a friendly aircraft spawns or has first after telling the dropzone resupplied it's given a supply drop item (the player is notified) all the aircraft has to do is get to the drop zone and the automatically drops the supply drop
Supply drops will resupply the entire inventory including grenades ammo medkits mines and tools of squads not individual players
Tank crews and engineers can use supply drop to refill their tanks and their Buildings however it only has 10 uses when a squad uses it counts as 1 use unlike the field hospital which counts as 1
... keep reading on reddit β‘Since i want a bomber in my squad im faced with the decision between those 2 roles for the other slot which would you guys choose and why Edit: Obviously normandy campaign
Hey there, I've only put about 25 hours into Post Scriptum so far, but I've played a lot of Squad. I don't think that PS should turn into Squad, but the addition of FTL's in Squad really improved communication.
Something I have noticed is that SL's have to spend a lot of time fiddling with the map and placing marks. I think it would be beneficial to let the radioman place marks as well. It fits with the idea of the radioman helping to communicate with other sections.
What do you all think?

I've played a few rounds as radioman the other day and god, its boring. You sit there being a radio essentially. Is it really that important or can a commander do their job without a radioman? The M16 they get is pretty cool though, very good for defending a position or their commander.
