A list of puns related to "Rachel Perkins"
As a current investor I love to keep up with what my companies are doing, as a prospective investor I love to do research on potential/future investments. For these reasons I find it incredibly embarrassing that TTCF hasn't been able to put out NOT EVEN 1 investor presentation in almost a year - 9 months to be exact.
For context, I run the marketing and communications of private equity firm that has 3 publicly traded companies. I publish quarterly investor presentations for 3 of the entities, along with MONTHLY investor updates. Year to date that is, 9 different investor presentations and, 27 monthly reports... Do you really expect me to believe that they cant publish 1 investor presentation in 9 months?? Among my investments, TTCF is the only one that hasn't published a single new investor presentation this year.
The crux of my frustration is this - the company has evolved so much since Dec 2020 yet, all that investors (AND PROSPECTIVE INVESTORS) have to look at is the Dec 2020 presentation??? How is that acceptable to them? I've been asking politely since Q1.. all I get it "we're working on it" what an absolute joke -it's September 2nd.. This is not a TTCF specific problem, there is only one person to blame for this abymsall performance - our Investor Relations consultant - Rachel Perkins - Ulsh (rachel@ulshir.com). Take a look at your other investments, in regards to investor outreach/marketing/communications (which is literally IR's job) and compare it to TTCF's and tell me that I'm wrong.
If you cant handle doing the bare minimum, ask for additional help or (politely) get the fuck out - regardless her performance isn't acceptable by even the lowest standards. She is straight up taking advantage of managements lack of experience in the public markets and their leniency/niceness from what it seems.
Initially the marketing department/presence at TTCF were abysmal and I complained about it vigorously, now things have improved drastically and I am ecstatic. The whole company is firing and executing on all cylinders - except for this absolutely awful Investor Relations consultant - Rachel Perkins - Ulsh.
Full disclosure - I have a $120k position in TTCF.
Hello lovely Taskmaster-mad people! While watching this series, I was having fun creating a list of people whom I realistically think could be on the next series of Taskmaster.Obviously, Alex has the ability to get big stars of UK comedy on the show... e.g. Frank Skinner in Series 1, Alan Davies in Series 12, and plenty of others in between not to be forgotten. But there are certain comedy favourites that often come up in surveys like this one, that we'd LOVE to see. E.g. Richard Ayoade, Sandi Toksvig, David Mitchell, Jimmy Carr, that could maybe say yes. But they have busy schedules and they host their own shows/have massive careers, so might be less likely to be on Taskmaster anytime soon.
Who would you love to see on Taskmaster in future AND you think would actually say yes if Alex asked them?
Here's a waaay too long and, admittedly subjective, list of possible contestants that I thought of (in no order whatsoever). Thoughts and feelings Taskmaster Community? And, even better, additions, people I've left out?
EDIT (To include some further names and some of the awesome, and very possible, suggestions below, we'll have taskmaster line-ups ready to go up to Series 27 at this point, "Long May King Greg Reign!"):
In 2012 BDS was calling for musical boycotts. David Renzer (at the time Chairman/CEO of Universal Music Publishing) and Steve Schnur (Music President, Electronic Arts) got together to form a group to help protect their musical artists against BDS harassment called Creative Community for Peace. They soon got: Warner Bros Records, Sony/ATV Publishing, Geffen Records, Atlantic Records, Columbia Records, William Morris Endeavor, Interscope Records, Ultra Records, AEG Presents, Capitol Records, and Amazon to join. They offered 3 services to managers and agents:
Advice, recommendations and support in monitoring and/or managing the messages on social or in traditional media when their artists were under attack.
Support, information, and further explanations of various accusations or threats being made.
Arrangements to meet with β and possibly perform with β Israelis and Palestinians who use music and the art as a bridge to peace; to connect, communicate and better understand each otherβs narratives.
Eventually bands started helping band members. Groups like: Bon Jovi, Kanye West, Mariah Carey, One Republic, The Backstreet Boys, Robbie Williams, Justin Timberlake, Elton John, Sir Paul McCartney, Gilberto Gil and Caetano Veloso, alt-J, Chris Brown, Suzanne Vega, Diana Krall, Art Garfunkel, The Rolling Stones, Madonna, Dionne Warwick, Rihanna, Clean Bandit, Martin Garrix, Kygo, Enrique Iglesias, The Chainsmokers, Carlos Vives, Jason Derulo, A$AP Ferg, Ziggy Marley, PUSHA T, Chronixx, David Guetta, Flying Lotus, The Black Eyed Peas, Metallica, Linkin Park, Lady Gaga, Daddy Yankee, Akon, Alicia Keys, Justin Bieber, 30 Seconds to Mars, Julio Iglesias, REM, Barbra Streisand, Kaiser Chiefs, Pet Shop Boys, Guns Nβ Roses, Burt Bacharach, Cyndi Lauper, Placebo, Chris Cornell, Alan Parsons, Tony Bennett, Matisyahu, Ron Carter offered their own experiences in how they handled and dealt with BDSer led intimidation and harassment campaigns directly to the groups while allowing Creative Community for Peace to service record companies, managers / agents and band members.
Creative Community for Peace supports dialogue and exchange over cultural boycott:
> We at Creative Community For Peace hope for a peaceful and lasting resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. We believe dialogue, which can be facilitated through the arts and music, is crucial to helping to achieve this goal. The BDS movement β both thr

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π

NBA Today, as long as Kendrick Perkins isn't on the show, is an immense upgrade from The Jump. The show I watched today was really entertaining. Tim Legler, JJ Redick, Richard Jefferson are fantastic analysts who actually teach about the game rather than speak in hyperbole or narratives. Malika Andrews knows the show isn't about her and feels no need to have a 12 minute monologue about some boring ass overplayed narrative like Rachel Nichols. Overall, this is actually a solid ass show. Props to ESPN for doing something right.
It's pretty funny to see the replacments be trotted out mere months after this whole rachel nichols and maria taylor controversy.. I wonder how wojnorwoski will gel with these guys when he inevitably forced to go on. Also big promotion for kendrick perkins who was formerly pretty easy to avoid if you didnt watch the jump
Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
When I got home, they were still there.
What did 0 say to 8 ?
" Nice Belt "
So What did 3 say to 8 ?
" Hey, you two stop making out "
Hi all, I have volunteered to be Ports list manager in u/MaximumInsanity s upcoming Phantom draft (20th of November). Below is a very haphazardly put together overview of the team and what I think our draft needs are.
Take a gander!
The List
35 contracted. Motlop is uncontracted at this time. Mayes to be re-rookied. Potential list of 37 heading to draft.
The Team.
KPD; Jonas(30), Aliir(27), Mckenzie(29), Clurey(27), Pasini(20), Skinner(24)
General Defender; DBJ(26), Houston(24), Burton(24), Jones(19), Frederick(21), Bonner(24)
Ruck; Lycett(29), Hayes(22)
Inside Mid; Wines(27), Drew(23), Boak(33), Schofield(19), Meed(20), McEntee(20)
Outside Mid; Duursma(21), Bergman(20), Amon(26), Farrell(22)
General Forward; SPP(23), Gray(33), Fantasia(26), Butters(21), Rozee(21), Williams(20), Motlop(30), Mayes(27)
KPF; Dixon(31), Marshall(23), Georgiades(20), Lord(19), Finlayson(25)
Ages included.
The Needs
I think we all know the club will be looking to strengthen our Inside Midfield rotation in this coming Pre Season. To my mind, there are currently two options for the club to go about it. Option A; We use Pick 12 to draft a ready-made inside mid who is a clean decision-maker, and can break lines with pace. Option B; we back in SPP, Butters, Rozee, Duursma, and Amon to make the transition to full-time inside mids and use our picks to replace their output in the half-forward line, wing.
Personally, I lean towards option A because I'd rather have the creativity of SPP, Butters, and Rozee in more attacking positions.
Also, ironically, we are possibly short a ruck.
The Picks
12, 63, 73 74, 92, 110, 128
I fully expect the club will take three players in the draft; Pick 12, Jace Burgoyne, and a late pick.
Pick 12
Matthew Johnson; 192cm, classy midfielder. Great composure and decision-maker. Is accurate by hand and more importantly by foot. Think Pendlebury.
Josh Goater; 190cm, burst midfielder. Contested work is his bread and butter. Solid endurance runner with great acceleration. Kicking is serviceable. X-factor!
Josh Sinn; 186cm, Mid/defender. Excellent speed and line-breaking ability. Great disposal by foot (leftie).
Mitch Knvitt, 193cm. Midfielder. Burst speed and great contest work. Can also take contested marks. Knightmare had us taking him here and after seeing the highlights I can see why.
Tyler Sonise; 181cm, inside/outside mid. Composed, brave, good foot skill, and evasion. Can push forward and kick goals. Thin
