A list of puns related to "Pusey and Jones"
In this news you could see his Porsche screaming down Eastern Freeway at 5pm on 21 March. From my calculation, Pusey's car was travelling close to 200km/h.
Three different methods.
ONE: From 17:11:27 to 17:11:29, the Uber (travelling at 98km/h according to GPS) went past 6 road markings, while the Porsche can be seen a further 6 markings ahead. This implies that the Porsche travelled 12 markings in the same duration a 98km/h car travelled 6 markings ==> its speed is roughly 2x100km/h.
TWO: If you analyse frame by frame from the moment the Porsche was parallel to the Uber, you could see that each time the Uber go past one marking, the Porsche is another marking's length ahead. This confirms the point ONE above that the Porsche is TWICE the speed of the Uber.
THREE: One could see on Google Map that on Eastern freeway these markings are precisely 10 metres apart. Using the same information as above, the Uber was travelling at roughly 30m/s and the Porsche was travelling at roughly 60m/s. This corresponds roughly to 110km/h and 220km/h respectively. This was inaccurate. Turns out that I measured on Google Map wrongly, the markings are in fact 11.8 metres apart rather than 10. By using a timer one finds that the Uber went 20 line markings in 8.7 seconds, which is 2.3 markings / second, equivalent to 27.1m/s or 98km/h (which matched up well with the dash cam GPS reading). One could then use the 11.8m spacing figure, and try to time how many lines the Porsche travelled over how long. This method is probably less accurate than the two methods above however, unless you download the video and time it down to individual frames but I did not bother to do that.
So. Yeah. 200km/h at 5pm traffic in Melbourne.
EDIT: It's interesting that someone could get away with driving 200km/h in a major freeway in Melbourne, 2km out from town centre, without being flagged down by the authority. One would have thought that there are CCTVs all over the place, and for a vehicle which was obviously going twice as fast as all other cars, he would have easily been detected if ANYONE is even watching the screen of those CCTVs.
Their careers were in ruins.
You're welcome

My opinion is, shouldn't he just taken the same stance he took back in 2007 and what others around the nba are doing rather throwing daryl morey underneath the bus?
The Bucks lost to the Lakers in a heated affair tonight. Looks like all's not alright in the Antetokounmpo camp.

So most people on here have taken the advice of the r/PersonalFinanceCanada wiki. It's literally Step 1 of the advice. HAVE EMERGENCY SAVINGS.
And yet, we aren't even 3 weeks into the COVID-19 mess, that will likely drag on for many weeks, perhaps a few months. And yet every Canadian has their hand out.
I suppose it's true what all those news articles said a year ago. 46% of Canadians live paycheque to paycheque.
And all the while, Canadians were in the clutches of a 'free money spending frenzy'. Buying new $80,000 pickup trucks, and boats and ATVs and big screen TVs and I phone 12s, on payment plans and with an "easy to use Home Equity Line of Credit".
The one that's smacking me right in my face this week is the dynamic between Rental housing providers and tenants. I have some unique insight into this. I've personally looked at about 100 applications to rent in the last year. They include info from a TransUnion and Equifax credit checks. I see pay stubs to verify income. I also notice what cars people drive up in, and see what they owe in credit cards and car payments (from credit reports).
My mind is boggled with what I'm seeing. Tenants who earn well above $60K/year are suddenly out of a job, and have zero savings and a hand out to anyone and everyone inside of 2 weeks.
When times were good, they all spent money like it was free. New truck, Big TV, tons of video games and new furniture. I get to see the inside of their residences so I know where the money goes.
But what I simply can't fathom is how someone bought a new $2500 Jura Expresso Machine last month, and now tells me they don't have $2500 for rent this month because they aren't getting the same hours at work, and "You can just get a mortgage deferral from your bank anyways so it's cool right?" (Exact wording).
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here. I busted my ass, saved and scrimped, took on MILLIONS of dollars in debt, and do my best to provide fair housing and a good value. But suddenly every landlord, bank, employer or company is the devil incarnate, and can afford to take the loss. The only parts that's worse is the [Government is sending out the message this it's OKAY to live hand to mouth, and if you are financially careless with life, there will always be
