A list of puns related to "Public morality"
So, I work for the US Federal Government, and part of my job involves talking to people who file discrimination complaints. I like my work and I like helping people who have been wronged, and making things right.
People come to me with all kindsa issues. Race, color, nationality, sex (gender and orientation), genetic information, disability, age... And religion, of course.
Now, right away I sorta have a small internal issue with this because the other factors are things which one can not choose. A guy can't decide to be black, Indian or over 40. A guy CAN decide to Muslim or Buddhist. But whatever, it's my job to help people when they have experienced discrimination. It's not for me to decide what constitutes it. We have laws that handle that, and religion is protected.
Some of co-workers post on Facebook things like "god is so good to us" or they post scripture from the Bible or Quran, and it's totally accepted. But I feel like if I posted something that was openly secular humanist, something like "we are all we have, so we must be the best we can to one another. No god needed!", I guarantee it would raise a shit load of eyebrows. I probably wouldn't get fired or anything (ironically because of that law I don't particularly like), but it would impact my superiors view of me. It would impact my chances for promotion.
If I'm a Christian, it's 100% cool to be outspoken and tell everyone how great god is. If I'm an atheist, I can't be outspoken.
It sucks :(
This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 43%. (I'm a bot)
> Poland's education minister said on Wednesday a march held in support of equal rights for LGBT people was an "Insult to public morality" and questioned whether participants were normal, prompting angry protests from the opposition.
> Thousands joined last Saturday's march through central Warsaw to call for an end to discrimination against lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender people, amid what campaigners say is an increasingly hostile atmosphere as politicians and Roman Catholic clergy attack what they call "LGBT ideology".
> "You've seen the pictures of the so-called Equality Parade, and that has nothing to do with equality," Przemyslaw Czarnek said on state-run news channel TVP Info."You saw people dressed bizarrely, a man dressed like a woman, are they normal people in your opinion?".
> "In Polish schools, the Polish language is obligatory, not any language of inclusiveness," he said.
> "The only language you know is the language of hate," said Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-B?k, a lawmaker from the Left grouping.
> The education ministry has recently announced planned reforms, including boosting the role of government-appointed school inspectors and changing students' reading lists to include more patriotic texts and the works of the late Polish pope, John Paul II.Hungary, a close ally of Poland's ruling conservatives, approved last week a bill that bans the dissemination of material in schools deemed to promote homosexuality or gender change.

I'm researching public adherence with the Covid19 health measures and looking at the potential influence of moral beliefs, personality and fear of Covid19 on adherence. I need about 50 more participants and would greatly value your input. It takes about 15 mins to complete, you might learn something new about yourself!
Many thanks
