A list of puns related to "Provence wine"
Finally rescheduling a covid canceled Eurotrip. Over the last pandemic I cozied up to Rhone reds while my wife became fond of RosΓ©. Focusing our trip on the Southern Rhone/Provence area feels appropriate. Can anyone provide guidance on where we should base our trip? Let the record reflect that I was a B- french student in high school 15 years ago.
I understand that the tasting experience is vastly different from Healdsburg/Sonoma/Napa, Willamette, Walla Walla, but we love tasting rooms and learning about production (while tasting). We'll visit in the spring and join tours if that helps facilitate.
Dear France! My partner and I will spend a week in Provence in September, staying in Avignon as a base and doing different day trips in the area (so excited!). At the end, we will drive back through France to go home to Belgium with our car.
Where should we stop, to stock up on wine for our cellar, any good addresses? Chateauneuf Du Pape for example is in the area, are there particular places to taste and buy a couple of crates that are really worth it? We are open of course to smaller producers as well. We will do the wine shopping on the last days so it is not sitting in the car. Thanks a lot for any advice!
*If there are other local products we should buy while we are in this beautiful region, we would love to hear!
Carcassonne, La Grasse, Avignone, Marceille. We triped by car.
Poor french language knowing was really problem for us! We decided to buy local wine not far from vineyard but it was not quite easy because of lack internet connection, wine advertising absence and small quantity of wine shops. Hudreds thousands acres of vineyards are there but you should be quite persistent in finding a place to purchase the bottle of local wine...
Who had the same experience? Or we just missed something?

Planning to make a roasted Leg of Lamb. Hoping for some wine suggestions to pair with it.
What type should I look for? Or can you rec a good bottle you like?
Edit: I have looked this up online but I am getting a few answers here and figured let me put it to the reddit crowd :)
