As a conservative, what did you dislike about the Presidency of Barack Obama?
I consider myself firmly right of center, and I voted Trump, but as far as Democrats go I don't view Obama as being that bad. Frankly I view Bill Clinton, who was considered to the right of Obama, as being a much worse President than Obama. On a domestic level I don't view his policies as having harmed the country significantly, while I think a potential Biden administration would be a disaster due to his policies in the areas of finance and housing. I think Obamacare was overall a bad thing, but again, not a disaster. His worst actions seemed to be in the area of foreign policy, but ironically those actions affected Europe and the Middle East more-so than US citizens. I've heard allegations from conservatives that he purged the military's officer corps of non-leftists, that he used the IRS to target conservative non-profits, and that he resettled refugees throughout Middle America, but frankly these allegations seem mostly toothless, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
Overall, I see Obama's presidency as a loss for America, but only slightly. Certainly, I don't see Obama as the boogeyman he is made out to be. Anyone care to explain their beef with Obama.
