Hi, as a part of my doctoral studies, I am conducting a study to better understand why employees come to work when they are ill when they have legitimate reasons to take the time off. As you can imagine, coming to work (or working from home) when ill poses risks to the wellbeing of the employee, their colleagues, but also to the overall productivity of the organisation. I am hoping that my research will help organisations come up with better policies for managing sick leave.

An interesting article that dives into some of the issues plaguing modern office work attitudes, how the pandemic affected them and what might be done to fix it.
Thank you for everyone who responded, but I have about 50 responses I still need (50 completions of the full survey) to be able to start analysing data for my doctoral dissertation on why people (come to) work when they are ill.
