I’m somewhat new to these vector fields, and I was looking for different ways to think about them just to gain intuition. It’s not a specific thing I’m confused about, but I want to know how you all think about these fields.

But think of Poisson's Equation. Let's say our Equation is:

This is just a Dirichlet Problem.

Denote the solution of the Dirichlet Problem for f and g, by {f,g}.

That solution can be found by using Green's Function.

But now Green's Function can be defined as:

where:

L(x,y)={δ(·-x),0}

and

R(x,y)={0,R(x,y)}

So L is the solution for a Dirac Delta potential in free space, and R is a correction to L to enforce the Dirichlet Boundary Condition. Is this not what P does to E usually? Isn't L analogous to E, and R to P?

I am writing my thesis and have a conflict for the variable letter used for magnetic polarization and current density, i.e. it is convention for both to use J.

I think it's use is more commonly known for current density so I'm thinking of changing the magnetic polarization but I'm not sure what to! I don't know if adding a subscript really differentiates them enough but it's all I can think of, i.e. JP (here the P would be subscript). Any other suggestions?

Note thesis contains Maxwell's equations which use P for Polarization.

I am selling a few things to fund a RF 70-200 Lens. Everything is in excellent condition. The 85mm was purchased direct through Canon brand new and has only had 30 pictures taken through it. The 70-200 was purchased through pro camera and has roughly 50 pictures taken through it. The filter has only been used once and the EF to RF Control Ring has only been taken out of the box to look at. I mounted it once on the 70-200 but never actually used it. I will line up a buyer for the control ring but won't actually sell it until both lenses sell.

The purpose of life is to learn love. That I feel is a fair translation of meaning of this quote. To me that is simply beautiful.

I really appreciate how simply Ra puts this statement on third density life. And honestly the entire 82 session is filled with quotes I hope to share in their own unique ways in the future.

I've already asked this question once today but I only got two comments telling me to pick another topic, and I'm desperate. I'm in my last year of secondary school (US 12th grade - i.e. the year before uni) doing a research project on time travel and I've been working on it flat out for the past month or so. The first draft is 95% complete and I need it finished by tonight (it's due in on tuesday and I've not done any of the holiday schoolwork because I've been working solely on this so I need tomorrow to do that). I'm incredibly stressed so please don't comment about laziness and so on - I did as much preplanning as I possibly could and worked every day of the holidays apart from christmas.

I just need someone to give some sort of summary of what this is saying:

I don't need to know all the inner workings, I just need to know what happens to prevent CTCs from forming. Does spacetime curvature go to infinity, or the energy of the vacuum become huge, or black holes appear or what? If this isn't possible, give some explanation. Literally anything.

Many of us have probably read or heard of a big spiritual shift coming “sometime soon.” There are many abduction stories of the abductees being prepared to help others into alien ships sometime in the near future after a cataclysmic event. Some channeling also mentions a shift to a higher awareness occurring soon, Earth going from 3D to 5D, a Great Awakening, etc.

Also, the U.S. where I live, and the world in general, seems to be in some hyper-rapid state of change, from politics being extremely bifurcated, and unmoored from previous standards of decency, to the #metoo movement, Black Lives Matter, environmental urgency, and of course Covid 19, which has greatly shifted culture and what some people value in life.

UFO’s are now discussed by military and politicians in a serious way, culture in general is way more open to “New Age” concepts, and the internet has profoundly changed how we live, see ourselves, and communicate. Change is incredibly fast.

Do you guys think something is really happening that will culminate in an actual tectonic shift in consciousness and spiritual reality, or is life just kinda crazy right now and those of us wanting a shift are as desperate to believe as the Christian’s awaiting the Rapture, and will most likely be waiting until we shed this mortal coil? Like the UFO t-shirt, I want to believe, but have no real idea what will happen, if anything, except perhaps a continued increase in general spiritual consciousness. Any books or videos you recommend to help me learn more?

ZachO brings up that at Top Legend with ladder now mattering for Master Tours, you have a lot more people "try harding" and playing Thief Rogue because it's the clear best deck in the format. Both ZachO and Hat argue that while Thief Rogue is overtuned right now, it's the kind of deck that should exist in the format, and if it was around a 51% winrate instead of 54%, it'd be healthy for the format. Decks like Thief Rogue should exist - there's player agency playing the deck and playing against the deck, while decks like Poison Rogue and Mozaki Mage should not exist at their current power levels because of how binary they force you and your opponent to play the game (put as much stats on the board as quickly as you can and kill them before they go off). We're seeing the effects of what happens when you don't nerf all the OTK decks like VS was advocating Team 5 to do so, because the other members of the "Solitaire 5" directly countered these decks. ZachO points out that Mozaki Mage would be a Tier 1 deck if it wasn't for the 90/10 matchup that Poison Rogue has into it (Hat also points out this is the first time he's ever seen a matchup winrate be in the single digits on the VS app - it currently shows its winrate as 8.4% in the matchup). Cloak + Cloak + Scabbs is not healthy for the format, and neither is Incanter's Flow on turn 2 or 3 putting you on a 3-4 turn clock. You can't nerf Rogue without also nerfing Mozaki Mage. When someone is described as an Old Soul, would this mean that they've had many incarnations on Earth?

A little backstory, I've been described as an Old Soul by many people all my life. I never really fit in with my peers at school and always felt kinda like an alien walking among humans that doesn't know they're an alien. Since I've seen the world and tried out psychedelics my place on earth has become much clearer and I've found peace.

Then the rona hit, and while I mentally wasn't too affected by the fear and overwhelming negative energy of the whole thing my friends and family certainly were.

People's reaction to the virus has given me a insight to how many cycles they've been here on earth. It appears that the younger souls are bought into the fear machine. Mid-aged souls can see with some clarity what's going on and are looking for ways to save humanity and get us all out of this mess. Old Souls can clearly see what's going on, and are forging their own path spirituality while the rest of the world descends into madness.

If there's any truth to this theory, through my own personal experience this would mean that 75% of humans are New Souls - 20% are Mid-aged Souls and 5% are Old Souls.

This small number of Old Souls would make sense since when you've had enough and realise you can leave whenever you want to, you will.

Koichi´s quirk, its manifestation and massive powerups have been a subject of ridicule for years, especially in the last few months we, Vigilantes readers, had a field day in the release thread joking about the power-ups he got and may get (Surprisingly - we had a decent success rate)

Starting from being hard countered by boardwalks, he has become the natural enemy of one of the strongest villains around and has increasingly power-crept Captain Celebrity arguably the second strongest hero in Vigilantes, only being left in the dust by Prime Might.

By now, it is not a matter of what his quirk can do but what not.

While this may may become a point of contention most if not all of his power-ups actually makes sense and are rooted in the nature of his quirk but more to that in the section The Crawler: Origin

With a bit of help from Iida´s formerly very mobile brother, Tensei, the original Ingenium before he got Stain´d, Koichi overcame one of his largest challenges in effectively using his quirk for transportation, taking sharp turns and being able to do so at high speeds without tragically crashing into a wall or sidewalk. He also learnt to fucking brake.

Can someone please explain to me the difference between a CPL and a ND filter. I understand that they both cut the light and effectively act as a sunglass for the camera but what is the main difference between them both. Also does CPL always mean a variable CPL which darkens when rotated? Thanks
