Found in SE Michigan. About 70-76 degrees past few days. Kind of a waterlogged grey color after harvest and I can definitely say most had a stem to speak of. Growing out of fallen tree, I can't identify the species. pleurotus pulmonarius?

Finally had a bit of rain, still so dry but it was enough for these Oyster (Pleurotus Ostreatus or Pleurotus Pulmonarius perhaps?) to say hello.

A beautiful saprotrophic fungi I found in Watsonville, Ca. My best guess is pleurotus pulmonarius (Phoenix oyster), but the ruffled edges are unlike anything Iβm seeing in any of my book. Does anyone have any ID ideas? (I did not collect it for eating :)

Pleurotus populinus? Was pretty sure it was pluerotus pulmonarius at first according to colorado specific resourse, but after looking into it more, I'm not sure. Thinking populinus. Found on a dying cottonwood. Ps this is my first year hunting so any tips are greatly appreciated!

Lots of oysters this weekend in SW Connecticut! Found them growing on five separate dead and living trees in these woods. I believe they are mostly Pleurotus pulmonarius.

[Gourmet] Hi all, I recently transferred some agar to grain for both lung oyster (Pleurotus pulmonarius - 1st pic) and velvet shank (Enokitake - 2nd pic) and was wondering if it is typical of the mycelium to grow thin and wispy like this? Thanks βπΌ
