A list of puns related to "Player versus player"
I just received Ice Correa and Claude-Maurice after having packed the Fire version of both shortly before they "went out of packs".
You hear devs talk about player engagement all the time. How many games have you played that you basically arent having fun, but keep playing? Warzone, League, etc.
This is effective player engagment at work. Your fun is secondary to you playing for as long as possible. The longer you keep playing, the more likely you are to spend money in their cash shop. There is a DIRECT relationship between player engagement and revenue for the business.
If you want a crazy rabbit hole, check out EOMM, or engagment optimized matchmaking. Its like skill based matchmaking but way worse. I believe(?) its patented by EA, but I guarantee other publishers have their own version.
Player engagment being the driving force behind all major decisions in relation to gameplay often times at the expense of player experience needs to die, and to fund it we might have to pay more per game.
Theres a REASON all of this is the way it is. Games development costs have fucking exploded since the last price raise in 2005. A 60 dollar game + DLC doesnt fund itself anymore, or is at least VERY risky.
I remember when the first tomb raider reboot came out, they sold 3.4 million units in a month, and they needed like 6 million to make a profit.

Thats crazy. Even a couple of years earlier, it would have been great money for them. But as the (potential) graphical fidelity increased exponentially due to hardware breakthroughs and hardware cost reduction, so did development costs.
We actually plateau'd for a while in terms of the amount of work a dev was willing to put into a games graphics, which allowed the low end hardware to catch up to the software it was running. Thats why we have consoles running 4k at 120fps.
The main point is, if you want games to be FUN again, you might have to pay more for them. If you want a game to be able to be profitable as a PRODUCT and not a SERVICE, the game needs to be able to make enough money that an investor is willing to put money INTO it. Right now, the only way to do that is to be a small lightweight indie dev with low costs, or to be a AAA studio, make a game for hundreds of millions of dollars, then load them up with recurrent spending opportunities.
If you want the game to prioritize your experience and not your engagement, you might have to pay more up front.
Im an emerald player peak diamond4 but I was lucky in a winstreak. Today I played trioQ with my friends (both diamond) and we matched versus a grandmaster mid and he stomped me hardβ¦we had no grandmaster on our team and I had No chance? What Can I do on this I want to win my lane

Buddy Hield made four 3P versus the Thunder last night in his 400th career NBA game.
Hield has 1,209 3PM, the most in NBA history through the first 400 games of a player's career:
1,209 - Hield
1,121 - Stephen Curry
1,098 - Klay Thompson
1,050 - Damian Lillard

This is often a controversial topic in the community. A lot of people say that the game could benefit from having a more fleshed out combat system, but a lot of people say that combat improvements don't belong in this game.
What do you think, and why?
Hi, i just discovered FAB and it looks very interesting, wanted to try it with 2 friends, in this moment in here we can only get Blitz decks (the common deks are not available), and wanted to know if is it possible to play multiplayer with 3 players all versus with Blitz format. Thanks
I remember seeing a website like this where the tanks winrate was plotted against the tankers total winrate so you can see how well a tank performs at different skill levels. Does anyone know which one it is?
I watched all of the 7927 videos ascendat nomad made about how to be good at destiny 2 pvp (player versus player) and I still suck ass cock garbage trash piss diahrrea. Any tips?
This doesn't make any sense and deters players with less skill from playing.
It would be just as broken if Platinum went up against Bronze.
Make the matchmaking better!!!!!!
As the title goes, one of my players doesn't enjoy fighting strong or competent monsters. But it goes beyond that, they vocally complain every time certain things happen: A monster crits on a 20, a monster deals more than like 8 damage, a monster(s) uses tactics to gain the upper hand, a monster uses any special ability other than attack, a monster saves on any saving throw.
To sum it up this player doesn't want to fight monsters who even remotely are stronger than something like a commoner. Right now the group is level 4 with 5 (soon to be 6) members, and no one else has any issues what so ever with monsters having strong/ unique abilities.
The advice I'm seeking is how do I deal with this exactly, the other party members have no issue fighting strong monsters and I also intend to have some pretty difficult fights later on in the campaign (going to 20 hopefully) because I like running strong monsters (DMs gotta have fun too).
Edit and Update: I had a chat with a player and it went well, we both agreed that at least in the module they are in (they are in 2 campaigns I'm running, Witchlight and my homebrew) that combat needs to be varied up in the sense of "interactivity" instead of the usual module dealio of "hit stuff before it hits you", and that my homebrew fights have been balanced. I did end up making a blanket statement that they got angry at everything, and that wasn't true (though build up from negativity did make me think that before our talk). We also talked about them toning down the negativity period though, but criticism is still welcome from them.
Either way, thanks for your advice guys, you really helped me wrap my head around it and solve this issue without "drawing blood"!
When do you choose overstable for the force over or long panning shots that can slowly unravel? When does it make sense to stick with discs you know you can get to turn easier, or power up on something that you trust to come out of it?
I have grabbed the platinum for ps5 version and looking for ps4 version as well. I only need 1 versus match. I'd appreciate it if somebody could help.
Iβm hoping the advice we discuss in this thread will be helpful for other noobs, so letβs get at it.
When youβre rebuilding, the consensus seems to be that you should sell good (older) players for future picks. But at what point do you start using those picks in conjunction with other players you are trying to move to secure more valuable players?
An example in my case is the following: In SF league, Iβve got Herbert, Brady, and Fields. Iβm no longer feeling confident in Fields, and can likely acquire Lawrence by trading another position player, a 1st round pick, and a 3rd. But is it worth it?
With a limited sample size, it seems like it takes rookies at least a season or two (Allen, Mahomes) to become serviceable. So, as good as the β23 class seems to be, having a bunch of β23 rookies may mean that Iβm not competitive until two seasons later. But trading one of those picks in a package for a player like Lawrence may mean that I have a QB who is competitive by that point.
Am I thinking about this all wrong?
I've been using my ps3 for dvds/blu rays for donkey's years and wondering if I should upgrade. Bit late to the party but now I've got a 4k TV and fast internet, I've been enjoying the finer things in tech life!
I've just assumed all this time that the actual DVD player can't have a huge impact on the quality of the video but now starting to think I've been missing out big time!
With Black Friday I wonder if its time to retire the old horse?
Obviously theres the bonus of playing 4k dvds but my main question would be, would this vastly improve my normal dvds and blu-ray experience?
For those of you playing in groups, esspecially with your buddies, have you ever cranked up the PvP damage and turned off nametags?
Sneaking up on your pals, stealing their stuff, being an overall nuisance, we're thinking of challenging one another to one hell of a PvP battle.
Would you try this with your friends? Do you think it would be fun to watch?
