My Papaw on a Navy ship 1960s. Petty Officer Third Class.
Can anyone help me identify this patch? Found in a family collection of patches from the 1970s. It looks like an enlisted Navy rank/rate patch (similar to Petty Officer Third Class), but I cannot find an exact match.

suppose I'm a Maat (Petty officer, third class equivalent) on a German U-boat on December 25th 1917. assuming we don't get attacked or get ordered to attack someone else, will my daily routine likely be different today? if "yes" how?
Bought this set of navy enlisted whites and blue dress shirt. Both are from the USS Saratoga during the Vietnam era, the whites are Petty Officer 3rd class yeoman and the blue is a Seaman, I believe the strips on the sleeves mean something. More info in comments reddit.com/gallery/rymjii
