I left the Air Force right before the AFSC's changed to the new format. Now I'm finding a lot of potential employers are looking for my MOS (AFSC). I've looked all over to see what my new AFSC would be. Does anyone know where to find a conversion table?
I am in the process of getting into the ANG. I have spoken to a recruiter, but I am not entirely sure what specialty to choose. I am prior enlisted and just finishing college. I will try to enter as an officer, but if I am not selected I am happy to go in enlisted, but I want a specialty with good future commissioning options. I am only considering traditional guard as of now, but that could change in the future for the right opportunity.
I was a Navy nuke and will have my degree in electrical engineering in May. While EE I filled all of my tech electives with aerospace engineering classes and really want to work in aerospace. I want a good engineering specialty (Edit: Technical, interesting, where engineering background would be beneficial) that is enjoyable and gets to really work on cool stuff as enlisted and officer.
I need advice on different specialties, and I want the good and the bad. For example in the navy I got to work on some of the coolest equipment but the oversight, schedule and political BS made it unbearable. In your opinion what are the best engineering specialties for enlisted and officer? What are some of the pitfalls for jobs that look cool from the outside?
Edit: I understand that positions are specific to different bases and not available everywhere. I will look to see if the position is located near me or not, and factor that into my decision.

Notes:
There is no correlation between Tail Codes and the Precints or Fleets of the Estovakian military
IY most likely belongs to the Estovakian Navy as its only featured on carrier based aircrafts
AI mostly likely stand for Aigaion as its only featured on Strigon Team aircrafts and the CFA-44 Prototype which is meant to opearate alongside the Aigaion.
AI should belongs to the Air Force however the CFA-44 prototype features "NAVY" on one wing and the Navy have juristiction over the Aigaion only when it lands for mantainance, Aces at War 2019 however state that is compleatly under the Navy juristiction.
XX its featured only on the aces that use a prototype or reseach aircrafts paint schemes.
The F-4E dont have a Tail Code same goes for KOROL which use the same skin
AV-8B only feature "E.A.F." on the right wing
