A list of puns related to "Perdido Key, Florida"
Thanks in advance if you take the time to give me some advice.
I'm an Avid Missouri angler. I fish a lot of Ozark streams as well as Table Rock Lake and Lake of the Ozarks for Largemouth and Smallmouth. I don't have a lot of experience with Lagoon fishing. I'm also interested in any other game fish like trout and snook if they are in season.
The only time I fished for trout and reds was mosquito lagoon on the Atlantic side. We used mostly live bait (Pig-fish) that the guide trapped himself. We caught a lot of fish, but I don't think I'll have this luxury fishing in Perdido Key next week.
I plan to go artificial unless I get advice as to how to fish otherwise. So far I plan to use a Heddon Super Spook Jr in a couple different colors and a Berkley Johnson silver minnow spoon. What else would be worth taking? Would any of my Bass tackle be worth using? Maybe a 1/4 oz rooster tail or Bass Pro Lazer Eye?
I should also mention I will only have access to a kayak 2 days out of 7, otherwise I'm fishing Big Lagoon from the shore.
Sorry for a long question post, thanks guys!
The title says it all but I'm with a group and have a group of friends in Pensacola and I'm thinking of having a party at my rental. My question is about fireworks. Will I be able to see them from the beach? I'm at a very narrow part of the island on the gulf with Old River and Ono Island behind.
My wife and I are from the midwest and thinking about relocating to the Pensacola area. We found a few properties near Perdido Key. Our biggest attraction to this area is how close to the beach it is.
When we look at crime data in Pensacola, some websites make it look like it is a very dangerous place to live. With two little kids, it's making us a little hesitant. Is the Perdido Key area a safe place to live? Outside of crime/safety, would you recommend this area for a young family?
Thanks in advance for your insights!
