Would autistic people English speaking countries step in to help? Because nobody know how horrible these things are. I've never seen a single person criticising the organisation. I tried to talk but as i am just me it didn't work.
Even former employees of that organisation doesn't talk about it even though they left their job because of how disgusting they are.
They are this way because they are copying autism speaks.
I don't know what to do about this
Context 1: We know very few about the DaOT anyways, but the few we do know only paint a very scary picture on what the DaOT can be about
From my previous post, here, that aimed to clarify what the Men of Gold and Stone were, as well as describing a potential Man of Stone, we now have an idea on what the populations of man were like in the original empire of the DaOT. However, the reality was that it was actually a pretty shitty time for a lot of people involved.
As a reminder, the DaOT's population consisted of 3 separate transhuman races of man, these races consist of the Men of Gold, a genetically engineered master race that arose due to certain levels of selective breedinng, the Men of Stone, a race of cybog intelligences specifically called "organic intelligence, created artificially", and the Men of Iron referred to the Abominable Intelligence so infamously known in the setting. But among these 3 baseline humans are assumed to still exist, and they weren't placed at the top of the totem pole. Instead, they were likely at the bottom, alongside the Men of Gold and Men of Iron, with the Men of Stone at the top. This was because of the fact that during the course of human history, the Men of Stone played the most important role in helping man spread across the galaxy and forming the Interstellar empire of the DaOT:

Yeah thatβs just what happens, channels have a discovery period where everythingβs new and stuffs escalating, channels hit their peaks and then stuff settles down for a while.
I canβt recreate how it was a year ago, I always worried what would happen at this stage of my YouTube/twitch and Iβm thankful people are sticking around for me less so the spectacle of how new what Iβm doing is.
You have to understand where content creators heads are at with this stuff, I canβt talk about personal problems, fears, or worries publicly because I donβt have all the answers, even understanding them is something I find hard personally, and more relevant; people donβt care, I know you might think you do while youβre reading this but really youβre part of 0.1% of people who watch me and not the majority.

Whereas I may lose myself watching Twin Peaks falling in love with Lynch's creativity and uniqueness, or Lost, trying to hypotize what the hell is going on, or Dark, admiring how every little piece falls one with another in the smoothest way, Sense8 is the only show that purely gets me for its characters.
I'm not even that interested in the plot itself, the whole secret organisation thing is one of the oldest tv and film tropes, and the show can lose itself a little in the intricacies of its core concepts such as the visiting thing or the whole science added behind it, I don't care, it's not what appeals to me in this show. It's not what I watch it for.
What I live for, while I'm watching it, are those small moments where the plot just stops, where the character make full use of their ability and just have fun, enjoy one another and life itself, such as the moment where they sing What's Up by 4 Non Blondes, the beautiful birthday party scene, or in the finale, where they take a moment to listen to music and just be happy, or even that final wedding with the fireworks.
The characters are so brilliantly portrayed and written, the actors put all so much passion in it and they have all and incredible chemistry that makes everything so perfect and seemingly effortless, and it's incredible how at the end of the day, in this coral casted story, I end up caring for each of the eight protagonists and their stories, the difficulties they go through and how they help one another when they need to. It's just so great and heartwarming like no other show I've watched.
The love that's portrayed here, especially by the Lito-Hernando and Wolfgang-Kala couples, it's just so real, so raw, so honest, and the show also gets a praise for the unhinged way it showcases the erotism and sensuality that the characters feel and share. Some people may not be into it, some may find it out of place or even offensive, whereas I find it a beautiful way to show the strenght of this telepathic and empathic bond that ties these eight strangers around the world together.
It's a travesty that Netflix found itself not being able to afford this show's continuation,

On Saturday 2nd August 1947, at around 1:45pm, an Avro Lancastrian Mk.III passenger plane known as βStardustβ departed from Buenos Aires, Argentina to make a roughly 3 hour 45 minute trip to Santiago, Chile. On board the British South American Airways flight were five crew members and six passengers, including the Captain, Commander Reginald J. Cook, an experienced and former RAF pilot during World War II. The flight itself was the last leg of a journey which originated from London, with the trip across the Atlantic taking place in a York aircraft, transferring to the Stardust for the crossing of the Andes Mountains.
At around 5:41pm, after transmitting routine communications to the plane as usual, the control tower at Los Cerrillos Airport in Santiago received this morse code message from Stardust:
βETA Santiago 17:45 hrs STENDECβ
Perplexed by the final word in the telegram, the Chilean operator requested Stardustβs radio officer, Dennis Harmer, to relay the message back to him, only to hear the same word, STENDEC, repeated loud and clearly twice in succession. After the third time, communications ceased, and the aircraft disappeared, never reaching its final destination. With the plane supposedly minutes away from the airport, the final word from the Lancastrian became shrouded in mystery when the plane, along with everyone on board, vanished into thin air.
Presumed to have crash landed somewhere along the route, a five day effort began by both Chilean and Argentine search teams, including fellow BSAA pilots, yet no trace of the aircraft or itβs passengers were found. The official 1947 report into Stardustβs disappearance highlighted a number of possibilities as to what likely happened to the ill-fated flight, with multiple factors potentially playing a role in its demise.
It was firstly noted that the Trans-Andean journey from Buenos Aires to Santiago can be taken via three routes: The Central (and most direct) via Mendoza, The Southern via Planchon and The Northern via San Juan. The central route via Mendoza was considered to be the quickest of the three, yet potentially the most dangerous depending on weather conditions. Both in London and in Buenos Aires, the pilot, Reginald Cook, had been briefed not to take this option if bad weather prevailed, but despite this advice, C

A group of Sandymount residents is appealing to the National Transport Authority (NTA) to urgently alter the new BusConnects C-Spine route which only came into service on Sunday.
The C-Spine is the second of the redesigned Dublin bus network routes to begin operating, with buses running from Maynooth, Celbridge, Leixlip, and Lucan, through the city to Ringsend and Sandymount. It follows the introduction last June of the H-Spine from Howth and Malahide.
While the C-Spine routes from west Dublin remain largely as published by the NTA in 2020, the Sandymount end of the route has been altered to remove buses from Strand Road.
The change has been introduced to facilitate Dublin City Councilβs plans to begin a one-way system on Strand Road to make space for a cycle path. The High Court in July ruled the cyclepath required planning permission.

This is my first post so I feel like I need to specify some things. I've been become a 49ers fan around 2012 as I started to get interested in the NFL. I'm European and a big soccer fan, I love the tactical and strategic/analytics sides of all sports. I didn't know much about American Football when I started watching, I fell in love with the Niners thanks to Kaepernick, he was very fun to watch and very charismatic I thought (funny anecdote, I thought all QBs would do what he did, scramble and run for a 50 yards TD!).
One of the interesting differences between soccer and the NFL is the lack of a salary cap in soccer. It has made the sport very opaque in recent years when it comes to squad building, title winning windows and so on. However, moneyball and advanced analytics, as well as shifting economics of the sport, some of the NFL principles of sports strategy have started to become popular in soccer. Brentford in the Premier League apply analytics to every department: wage management, contract extensions, selling/recruitment/play style and so on. FSG with Liverpool has basically introduced the Winning Window to soccer: Liverpool have built a very, very good core of players and they're basically in a situation where their wage bill is exploding because their talent recruited very smartly have turned into superstars, so now their best player is in this contract dispute as their stars are aging and will need replacing very soon and they need new funds to reinvest and rebuild the squad.
So I'm very interested in those principles : "All In" like the Rams, "Blow it up and Rebuild" like what Patriots/Belichik did post 2019.
Where do you think the 49ers stand?
This is my opinion, but with the recent loss to the Titans and the looming possibility of not making the playoffs, it hit me how contradictory the building of the roster has been. I am confused with the strategy of the franchise right now.
I was and still am very excited by the drafting of Trey Lance. I read up on the scout reports, I liked that the Niners went with the QB that offers them what they don't have: a guy who opens up the playbook, who can make game-changing big plays, with a very high ceiling (as opposite to a safe choice like M. Jones), who's praised for his processing (as opposed to Justin Fields). I liked the pick, and I'm still hoping there are solid plans to develop the less polished aspects of his game (accuracy on shorts/medium throws/release/throwing motion and so on).

Well last night, i had discussion about archon's ideals when some users were claiming Venti's way of overseeing to be the best compared to others
I kinda disagree on this, so i wanted to present my argument why i didn't like his way of doing things and how Mondstadt is still not free.
Venti's concept was of total freedom and he left his people so that they can decide on their own about what's the best for them. This alone irked me a lot, since his ideology of totally freedom kinda messed unlike liyue where Zhongli at least let liyue be fully dependent on itself he even didn't gave any kind of guidance, he could have suggested or at least laid bare minimum administration to grow upon but nope. Due to there being no administration in beginning aristocracy soon rose to peak and Mondstadt had to suffer for hundreds of years of aristocrat dominance.
Now he decided to overthrow aristocracy with helping people going against his ideology of letting people decide their own. Afterall aristocracy also grew due to people's decision, and those people were from Mondstadt too. That's going against his own policy of letting people decide on their own. Basically isn't this in a way telling that he can overthrow government if that's not to his liking even if it is chosen by peoples. I know that i am being a bit harsh here after it was people who were suffering but it was him who left them in first place to do whatever they want. If he didn't want to see these situations he should have first laid out a basic way of administration in which representatives are chosen by people instead of leaving a new born country without any rules/constitution on it's own.
We have first to discuss what is even concept of freedom and how flawed is concept of total freedom? A society/nation needs to have rules to work without those rules there will be chaos. Powerful will use their freedom to crush weak. That's why we have constitution and government. Total freedom without any limitations also means freedom to hooligans, crooks, villains, rapist, robbers etc. That's why freedom can't be given totally so idea of full freedom is always flawed to begin with.
Mondstadt recovered from aristocracy and finally there came knights of favonius. But is this the freedom? Isn't it same as being under military authoritarian government? Basically it's KOF who decides what is right and what is wrong, who must be punished and who to be rewarded, what are the rules to be followed etc. They are lucky that

The specific figure changes all the time for a variety of reasons, but I've written a response explaining the context that I hope members will find useful and informative.
For most of the period 2004-2015 paid-up membership, evidenced by the numbers voting in internal elections, was below 200,000. In 2015 and 2016 numbers surged during Jeremy Corbyn's two leadership campaigns and then the 2017 general election, peaking at around 538,606.
This was followed by a steady decline through to November 2019, with 430,359 ballots issued for the NEC by-elections. A new surge during the 2020 leadership election saw 120,000 members joining or rejoining, taking the total ballots issued to a new record of 552,835 in Jan 2020.
Since then membership again declined, and the last figure reported to the NEC in July 2021 was 430,926 with an additional 35,200 in arrears.
More recent figures are hard to obtain with the cyber-incident resulting in loss of access to membership data. National totals shown on Organise between December 2021 and January 2022 varied around the 437,000 mark, but that will include several tens of thousands in arrears.
My best guess is that paid-up membership is currently still around 400,000, more than double that during most of the Blair-Brown era, and relatively stable. That is supported by numbers in my local party, though every constituency will be different.
Having said that, clearly we could all do more to capitalise on Boris Johnson's self-destructive urges, and build up again towards the next election.

Hey all,
Long post incoming!
So I want to tell a little about our first DnD (and my first DM) experience ever! Nobody of our 6 people crew ever had played the game (although we are nerds in other games like MtG, 40k and so on) and we wanted to try it out for a long time, as we wanted to create our own interactive world together.
So for starters, Iβve chosen to be DM and pick the βDragon of Icespire Peakβ essentials edition to get us into the flow. I think it was a good decision as it has plenty of material, but you literally need to make everything up in-between for it to make sense and keep players guessing for the right things, which was the hardest part actually.
So for everyone who tries to start that, too, Iβd like to give some basic perspective and some hints as how things could turn out - Also Iβd really appreciate some comments from you guys on how you handle some things! Thanks in advance :)
**The setup:**
5 PCs
- Human Paladin (Veteran Soldier; The meditative charismatic βleaderβ)
- Halfl-ing Bard (Hermit Entertainer; He made the whole group laugh with his actual bad luck and think creatively the most)
- Half-elf Ranger (Hermit Outcast; Not interested in anything society, always having the wrong etiquette in the right time)
- Dwarven Cleric (Grumpy sailor, fights prejudice of his race by teaching values)
- Firbolg Druid (Hermit Sage, Dogmatic on nature and the balance of things)
We had an 8 hour session, directly combining session 0 and session 1 (As the first round of play and first quest) - We wanted to see how it works, right.
You can already guess the complexity Iβd tried to control here. I had a lot of notes, but I realized the art of bullet points and refactoring information for other situations along their path, as the game required to flow and I couldnβt look up much information anywaysβ¦**For everyone new: Do not try to control the path. Embrace the randomness, this is the only way to a) have fun and b) create a story**
**Starting out in Phandalin**
Given that everyone starts in Phandalin and encounters a job board with 3 quests, I wanted to spice things up and make them a little more linear, and only offered two quests directly via the town master, which ended in one being taken: Umbrage Hill.
This is where the fun begins. We wanted to inject early RP, so obviously they went to the tavern first to see actually meet as a group. I wanted to keep it simple and just had the Tavern owner tell a lit

The above is a quote from 'Skinwalker at the Pentagon', on page 174 on the amazon kindle version.
It is taken from--in my opinion--one of the most important pages in the entire book, and subsequently, is one of the most pivotal data points in our attempt to sneak just a tiny peak at those who possess the most incredible secrets. Here is a fuller quote from pages 174 & 175.
"Sacha Mover and Jim Bell (probably pseudonyms) began knocking on doors beyond DHS to connect with the βkeepers of the secretsβ in at least two other agencies. In these meetings, which took place in June-July 2011, Sacha, Jim, and colleagues were treated rudely and harshly. Bell and Mover were repeatedly told βno, and hell no.β This left Mover and Bell convinced that advanced technology was sequestered under government supervision at aerospace contractorsβ facilities. As a result, the DHS officials became very hesitant and even fearful of moving forward. Perhaps Mover and Bell only belatedly realized the unique, game changing, and earth-shattering nature of the biggest secret ever kept by the United States. The vast implications of this secret may simply have paralyzed them.
Itβs possible that because DHS was a βnew kid in townβ and low on the traditional pecking order among long-established intelligence agencies that their requests were viewed as not worthy of serious consideration. After all, with the passage of the Homeland Security Act by Congress in November 2002 in response to devastatingly poor coordination between intelligence and law enforcement organizations seen in the wake of the September 2001 attacks, the Department of Homeland Security formally came into being as a stand-alone, Cabinet-level department to further coordinate and unify national homeland security efforts, opening its doors on March 1, 2003. Therefore, when Bell and Mover began knocking on doors to obtain additional evidence on sequestered advanced technology, the rudeness and hostility shown to them was not just an attempt to protect the greatest secret of all, but a marking of the territory for a young organization less than ten years old that dared to request access to something that had been successfully buried within the bowels of the United States Government for more than 60 years.
Nevertheless Bell, Mover, and colleagues emerged from the June 2011 inter-agency meetings newly convinced that sequestered advanced technology was real and that they had a tiger by the tail i

Here's what you can look forward to during 2022:
Hope everyone has a great break!
Our governments, banks, corporations and any number of organisations that think they're progressive will almost all invariably go through the cycle of doubt and distaste, followed by intrigue and FOMO.
Having worked in a number of organisations large and small, traditional and "cutting edge", and listened to CEO types talk about "innovation" and adoption, I think it is not difficult to predict that, despite all the doubts they sow today about cryptocurrency, they will eventually adopt it.
They are quite easy to predict because they are invariably like this:
Examples of past cycles of this phenomenon include ecommerce and social media. Initially frowned upon for being unsecure or uncontrollable (respectively), big organisations and governments eventually adopted them with enthusiasm. I still remember vividly the amount of resistance that social media met from C-suite types, a decade ago.
(All this relates to the well-known Gartner Hype Cycle. Though with regards to cryptocurrency, I am not sure if we are in a Peak of Inflated Expectations or dare I say, are we now in the Slope of Enlightenment...?)
If this post sounds familiar to you, you may remember that this was a topic previously on /r/HobbyDrama in the sweet Summers of 2020. I specifically remember reading this while on vacation. However, the original author seems to have either deleted their account or taken the post down, so I decided to revive the post. Back when Removeedit worked for Reddit posts I could link to the text itself but that unfortunately seems to have shut down.
Anyway, let's get into this:
> What's Critical Role?
Beginning in early 2015, Critical Role is a live-streamed game of Dungeons and Dragons helmed by several popular voice actors such as Matthew Mercer (Jotaro Kujo, Leon Kennedy, Maximus from Leo the Lion), Travis Willingham (Thor, Roy Mustang, this store owner in Nip/Tuck) and Laura Bailey (Rise from Persona 4, the Female Boss in Saints Row 3/4, Kaine in Nier). If you were an anime fan watching dubs from the mid 2000s to the mid 2010s or you just played a video game, I guarantee you heard at least one of these actors in something. It's a veritable who's-who of big name voice actors.
While recording for Resident Evil 6, Mercer decided to give a birthday present to Liam O'Brien, specifically a one-shot D&D game. This was run in the... controversial... 4th edition version of the game, and presumably after Mercer took a visit to his local exorcist, realized the error of his ways. When O'Brien expressed interest in continuing the game, Mercer agreed and they shifted to Pathfinder. The crew share some stories as they go, with it becoming a frequent thing that gets brought up during convention panels as a fun aside. Back before Vine died it was very common to see the actors making Vines of tabletop moments, and some of the original campaign was preserved through Youtube. The team go by the name Vox Machina- latin for Voice Machine, but initially they operated under the name Super High Intensity Team, or... The SHITS.
I will actually be shocked if they refernece that old name in the cartoon. The party for Campaign 1 consisted of:
Matt Mercer as DM.
Marisha Ray as Keyleth, Half-Elf Dru

It's had its ups and downs over the last 20 years, with many users feeling the site has long been in a slow decline. However, the most recent drama has caused an absolutely unprecedented explosion of outrage and disappointment within the remaining userbase.
Why?
Because Neopets has broken a multi-month long near silence with its playerbase to announce its releasing NFTs.
EDIT:
**What the fuck is an NFT?**NFT stands for Non-Fungible Token. It is a form of digital collectible that exists on a blockchain, similar to those the famous Bitcoin uses. The technology of blockchains means that each NFT is verifiably unique. They are bought and sold using a variety of cryptocurrencies. However, it is important to note that while many NFTs are tied to digital artwork, what you are buying is not the artwork. You gain no rights to it whatsoever, nor any exclusivity outside of the NFT world. What you buy is essentially a digital receipt with the artwork on it. NFTs by themselves serve no other function.
The Neopets NFTS will be 20.0k randomly generated pet images to be used as profile pictures.
This on its own would have been a pretty unpopular move, but the way the userbase found out that they were making NFTs wasn't from Neopets themselves - no, the userbase found out when a tiny, dodgy-as-all-fuck shell company and a random child company of neopets' parent company, NetDragon, announced that neopets were releasing a special collection of "metaverse" NFTs.
The company in question immediately raised red flags within the community as the website seemed to lack even basic understanding of the game, using generic gaming terms instead of terms specific to Neopets (such as "skins" instead of "paintbrush colours", "character" instead of "species" etc) and using [generic fantasy stock art

I want to suffer.
Of course I want some 'normal' difficulty modes. Easy 'medium' 'hard' etc. But I also want something insane for me and my friends to do battle against.
I want some kind challenge that is hard enough to actually challenge 4 co-op people with Red Talon gear, vetted 'survivor pool' starting communities, with Legacy Cards too, using all of the tools available to survive and win.
Shit that you have to prepare for to win. Like finishing other communities campaigns and playing daybreak to get prestige just to prepare for the run.
Bring on the Pain.
Even for the non-harcore players, should make for an amusing spectacle watching the really skilled Streamers/Youtubers try to 4-man it.
It will be really interesting just to watch the SOD fanbase theory craft and try different bases, builds, strategies, communities to try to crack it.
Buenosdillas
Nevertheless Bell, Mover, and colleagues emerged from the June 2011 inter-agency meetings newly convinced that sequestered advanced technology was real and that they had a tiger by the tail in
