A list of puns related to "Paccar"
Are worse to be parked next to at night than a reefer. For the driver that leaves his kw/Pete truck idling overnight for a/c, the engine fan cycles on and off every like 45 seconds! Thatβs infuriating! Just as bad as these Volvos with bad air dryers that purge once a minute.
Or am I crazy
Hi :-)Is it okay for non-business majors to eat in Paccar? I really want to try Orin's place, but I'm worried that it's a weird thing to do since I'm not doing anything related to business. I hope this question isn't weird or anything- I'm just a little nervous about being judged or something

>When we partnered with PACCAR six months ago, we promised to not only build reliable autonomous trucks but to deploy them in a meaningful way. Today, weβre pleased to announce that weβve formed an industry-first collaboration to launch a commercial pilot with PACCAR and FedEx, one of the largest transportation and logistics companies in the world. Together, weβll leverage our collective expertise in trucking, autonomy, and logistics to improve the safety and efficiency of commercial linehaul transportation operations.

>This industry-first collaboration is born out of mutual trust and respect with industry leaders that share our vision to transform transportation and realize the benefits of self-driving technology. With PACCARβs Autonomous Vehicle Platform (AVP), weβre creating a deeply integrated self-driving truck with a manufacturer that delivers hundreds of thousands of Class 8 trucks a year. And now, through this pilot, weβre extending that partnership to a key customer, FedEx, to integrate those trucks into its massive network, which delivers billions of packages each year.Β

>This week, we begin our commercial pilot with FedEx. Weβll be regularly and autonomously hauling FedEx loads with a safety driver between Dallas and Houston, a 500-mile round trip along the I-45 corridor. Our pilot with FedEx and PACCAR demonstrates how weβre progressing and advancing through the Aurora Driver Development Program as weβre now in the exciting phase of βRefine and Pilot.β

>At the end of 2023, we will launch our trucking business and haul loads autonomously between terminals without a safety driver. Developing our trucking service and Driver-as-a-Service business model alongside a trusted network that understands how to safely optimize logistics through efficiency and speed primes us to build a more
Working on a mixer and the mixer module isn't reading any data from the truck side, doesn't even show that its running. At the connector from paccar to mixer harness the CAN is reading 120 ohms, does anyone know where the terminating resistor are on a KW T880? And I believe it should read 60 ohms correct?
Need to see Dune on a real IMAX, not lieMAX.
Ive been looking through some peterbilt and kenworth trucks on commercialtrucktrader and i noticed most of these trucks have a paccar engine instead of a detroit engine. How would you guys weigh these against each other as far as reliability goes?
like the title says, I was at the library and in class across the hall last time i remember seeing them, lmk if anyone turned them into the desk or lost and found or sees them around. theyβre on a purple βdawg packβ lanyard
So as the title says we've got a 2014 Kenworth with a Paccar that's getting diesel in with its coolant.
Everything I've read and looked up says it's either the injector o-rings, or possibly an injector cup.
But some guy the truck owner knows told him it was a bad fuel cooler. Now the issue with that is this truck doesn't have a fuel cooler.
So are there any techs here that know a thing or 3 about Paccars that could maybe offer some insight? Any help is appreciated.
And for the record, I'm leaning towards injector o-rings.
Hi guys, does anyone have an interest or have this company in their portfolio?
PACCAR - Farm & Heavy Construction Machinery
What value do you give?
I've been following it for a couple of months and would like to add it to my portfolio. It's brands are DAF (for Europe) , Kenworth and Peterbilt (for US). DAF has just taken over its truck battleship. The new generation truck XF, XG and XG+.
The price at the moment is 84 $ per share (down around 16% from the maximum).
Still have much research to do on all aspects of O/O. Thatβs not why Iβm here, Iβm here to get your guysβ subjective takes on either the rigs you have purchased/ leased and on what Iβm looking towards.
Will be pulling reefer out of PNW towards Tex. and surrounding states. The base specs Iβm looking for right now is a 565 horse Cummins, 13 or 18 speed (considering resale value vs. weight of both trans), and axle ratios Iβm still debating on due to cruise speed and fuel mileage. The bodies Iβm looking at are either Ken. T680 & W900L 86 in. sleeper vs. Pete 579 & 389 stand up bunk.
Of course 280 WB long hoods will be a much smoother ride, but what are your takes? Besides ride quality the only thing I am thinking about is fuel mileage difference between the Aeros and Long Hoods.
And yes I am considering the difference in tare weights.
