A list of puns related to "PRS Guitars"
I am looking for a McCarty with the flat stop bar tail piece (not the 548 with Gibson style electronics) and canβt find one in stock to save my life. I checked Sweetwater and Musiciansfriend but they donβt have any on hand. Anyone got any tips on where to find one?
Hi,
I'm 37, I've played the guitar since I was 12. I've never had a high-end guitar, and I think that now is the time for me to get a decent one.
Obviously, I'm looking at PRS. These guitars are so pretty, in addition to sounding so great.
I don't know much about the brand. I think that I'll want a flame top S2. Does that mean I need to go for custom S2? What sort of price range am I looking at for this?
Should I look at second-hand bolt-on or core? If I were to get a second-hand one, apart from the frets and make sure the neck isn't twisted, is there anything else I'll need to look at?
Any other recommendations?
Many thanks!
Hi
Does anyone know where I can watch reviews for this . My dad cheated on my momβ¦..again and heβs taking me to the store this afternoon so I can pick out anything I want but it has to be imported (Iβm American thanks). Anyways , some YouTube videos or something about this guitar would help but I canβt find any today .
Thanks
I regret nothing. I love this thing.

Anyone know which model is Danielaβs PRS guitar?
Edit: In the EVOLVE (Live Session ) video on YouTube shows she's using the PRS 35th Anniversary Custom 24.
Edit #2: In the EVOLVE (Official Music Video) video on YouTube, I think she's playing the PRS Core Custom 22.
sorry i meant good in the title. I find myself questioning these things with the lower end models of guitars. i luv my mexi strat and i was originally gonna buy a prs but not sure abt their quality for the cheaper SE version. Any thoughts or insight?
Hey so I came across a great 2nd hand 2019 PRS Paul's Guitar that im considering on getting but I was wondering if I should wait for the 2022 line ups in case there are any changes? Was wondering if I could get any sort of information.
Thanks in advance.
Hi all,
I've been playing guitar for a couple of years and have always been drawn visually to the PRS. I've never played one, but am getting a new guitar for Christmas, and am going to be trying a few in-store with the goal of purchasing one. Plan B is a fender.
I currently own an Epiphone Les Paul Custom, which I like a lot... and so I want it to serve two main purposes:
To be THE guitar that I own
To fill any gaps that my other guitar can't fill.
So for example, I would like a whammy bar.
I play a wide range of music: Classic rock, a bit of metal, indie, pop, and a little bit of funk. Max budget would be $3,000, but under $2,500 would be even better.
Any tips, things to be wary of, things to consider, known issues etc?
Thank you.
I'm curious.... I've been hunting for a core 594 for a few months now and I've really been watching all the US retailers and Reverb pretty closely and spoken to a few shops. The shops online aren't getting any stock in. Maybe a guitar here and there. The shops I've spoken to say they have dozens or even hundreds of guitars on order they are waiting for. What I don't understand is if PRS is making guitars, where are they going? Are they only doing S2 and/or CE right now? Those seem to turn up at a trickle pace. If they are making core models, do they only work on a certain model for a few months and then re-tool for different models? How many core models are leaving the factory each month and where to? Europe? Shops that pre-sold them?
Or maybe they just go out the door before they can be posted online.
I love hearing how these companies work and how they are handling the extra demand these days. But I'm also just aching to find the right 594 without ordering on an insane timeline. :)
Update: I made a decision. Guitar is in the mail! Super excited. Thanks everyone for comments and also too all the shops that chatted with me! Gave u/ThoughtINew's shop a call, but talked to someone that couldn't discuss pricing and made my decision before calling back. Will be keeping an eye on that shop for future road trips! I was unable to buy from Wildwood yet again, but I swear one day their stock and my wallet will sync up. Good chats, texts and emails with most of the other shops on this thread. The guys at Ish tried to up-sell me that $275k les paul, but it was slightly out of my price range.
If I bond with the new girl, I'll post some pics.
