A list of puns related to "Out of home advertising"
In my country there aren't truckside advertising companies and it's a sector that I think has a lot of potential and I would like to get my hand on.
The problem is that I don't know where to start. I've tried getting in contact with founders, CEOs and business owners of this sector but I haven't been lucky. I guess that when you try to contact someone through their company's info@companyname.com email is very difficult to get an answer. LinkedIn hasn't been useful either. Cold texting someone asking for some mentorship in LinkedIn doesn't get you very far.
You don't get what you don't ask, so I have to try.
I would love to talk to someone who has some experience in the out-of-home or the truckside advertising sector.
Thanks!
Greetings!
ALABAMA real estate issue:
We Purchased our home in October and love it overall.
Home was advertised as having a "New" roof placed in 2018. we had a home inspection before purchase that indicated old damage, but no leaks.
After move in, the roof is dripping in one area and new water stains are appearing on the ceiling.
through our realtor (who is excellent top to bottom) we made contact with previous owners who directed us to the contractor who placed the roof
The contractor cam out to assess the issue. He was in possession of documentation showing that the previous owners had called him out as well to report a leak in the "New" roof. He claims he discussed a plan with them and left, but was never contacted again. the house was soon after put on the market and we purchased the home.
We noticed the leak, and contacted the contractor ourself and he came out to assess the issue, disclosed that the previous owners knew about the leak, and agreed to return after rain.
I was nice, and did not make any accusations nor was I upset at the time. I simply offered the opportunity for him to remedy the issue.
He left, and I now cannot reach him. Multiple text messages that have been calm and reasonable, the final message today being "The situation is now out of my hands and I have no choice but to report to the BBB".
we have since had a USAA claims adjustor and a roofing company look at the roof and both attested to poor craftsmanship practices.
My realtor is on the case, looking at the sales contract to go over wording (out of office today), even offering to go to the contractors place of business (I told him this isn't necessary)
Is the previous owner responsible, having in bad faith failed to disclose the leaking roof, and even painting the ceiling to cover the evidence? (their hand prints are on the rafters)
Is the contractor responsible for multiple craftsmanship issues including a number of "not to code" issues?
A good-faith gesture like this would help give people options to help stay sane and calm while we all weather this difficult storm together.

I'm shopping almost day by day. I don't have ingredients in my house for what I need, because I'm starting from scratch and have absolutely no staples. I just don't know what I should have "in stock"
What should I always keep in my pantry that fit the idea of this sub? Cheap and healthy is the goal, as someone buying and cooking entirely for themselves for the first time, and also as someone who works hard labour (12 hr shifts, 4 days on, 4 days off. It's a struggle to cook for myself during shift days so any advice there is appreciated!)
If you also have some meal suggestions, I'm all ears. I have a small repertoire of meals I'm really good at cooking, but I'd love to shake it up. My only dietary restriction is that I cannot eat pasta (it makes me sick) but I sub for zucchini instead anyway.
Thanks, all!
Edit: think it's worth adding that I had 3/4 of my stomach removed last year (weight loss surgery!) So I really don't eat a lot at all. Maybe a cup's worth of food max each meal - which definitely cuts costs, but its hard to portion/cook for such a small amount without wastage. Foods that can be rehashed into multiple meals would be awesome!
Edit 2, electric boogaloo: Wow, I'm overwhelmed with all the amazing advice - I wish I could reply to all of your comments but I'm definitely reading them all! Thank you for the awesome tips. I just finished my last night shift of the week, so I'm off to bed - once I get up, it's grocery shopping time! You've made this daunting task a hell of a lot easier. Can't thank this sub enough :))
