Why did the Olmecs make so many baby-face figurines?

I was recently at the Denver Art Museum and they have this odd Olmec carving of baby face. Elsewhere, there is an infantile clay Olmec figurine (next to a rougher imitation from another culture). The museum placards hinted these are a trademark of the culture, and Wikipedia agrees but without any further help. So, do we have any ideas about what these baby features meant to the Olmec?

Energy Body Location In Tensegrity?

We need some research!

Sorry about the nsfw rating, I'm on crummy keyboard laptop. Must have clicked that while trying to keep the screen from zooming when I didn't want it to.

But it turns out, we're missing important things.

Unbending Intent Long Form scoops puffs of energy onto your 3 pouches.

The result is visible in the orange zone as a "puff body".

As it turns out, this is actually the double clinging to our physical body like a baby in one of those front side baby carriers made out of cloth.

And it fully agrees with Olmec statues, besides the shape shifted into a Jaguar detail. Which by the way is not universal. There are olmec figurines where the double is both shapeshifted and not shapeshifted, on the front. There's also on the back but I have none so far, shapeshifted on the back. On the back, it's upside down

That's 3 conditions. Shapeshifted in front, not shapeshifted in front, and upside down, not shape shifted, on back.

In the front, the double can be held with hands, or resting on lap.

I've seen both in the darkroom. I know this frustrates beginners, but these things become fully visible. Even if you never saw those statues, you'd see those sights.

So here's the first thing that could use research:

Is the one on the back always upside down, and not shapeshifted?

Second research topic: Why is the one in the front sometimes held? Is that a threat that it's about to be unleashed? Sent away?

Again, beginners might be confused on this. We REALLY do these things so the fine details of sculptures from our past "sages" are clues to super cool abilities.

For instance, it's very normal to break the rules of physics in the darkroom. Reaching behind a wall is common. Seeing a third arm has happened to more than 1.

If there are different configurations, we need to figure them out. We lost Carlos, and Carol doesn't seem inclined to explain such details.

But here's what's bothering me right now.

The tensegrity contains another configuration. The double to your front, not attached.

And mobile!

It's the "Gift to Maui" pass. You strike in the air in front of you, to form a "frame" for the energy body.

(Side topic: Is "gift to" in the name of a new pass, a sign of something from Carlos?)

I believe the same Maui pass, or series of passes has you form an energy ball on the floor, and watch it rise up into space.

We pretty much know now, those energy balls are your own awareness inside your shell, pushed to the outside, but

I put this on Facebook, and then thought someone is going to link to it, so might as well bring it over.

It got out of hand... And Nyei is known to "make corrections" to my Facebook.

*** from Facebook ***

My inorganic being Lily saw my interest in what the Nagual Elias was doing, traveling around the universe copying random objects from abandoned junk yards.

He called them his "inventions". If you ever wondered did he bring the real ones back, I don't believe so. I think he just copied what he remembered.

Lily had promised to teach me "how to leave the darkroom". Meaning, in a locked room in the dark, she was going to teach me various ways to leave the room.

After all, Cholita just came and went as if the walls didn't even exist.

And Lily did teach me that!

Actually I've come to realize, Lily was merely teaching me how to use the Orange Zone on the J curve.

My inorganic being Fancy, had previously taught me how to use the red zone. The one just before the orange zone on the J curve. The red zone is called, "the shift below" in the books.

The orange is "Heightened Awareness".

And Fairy, my first, had taught me how to get to the red zone.

From blue, to green, to red. And then she asked to be given away.

Each inorganic being seemed to "specialize" and teach me a new thing. She had done her task, after 20 years of trying.

They do that! All of the teaching using power plants was either Little Smoke (Fairy), or Devil's Weed (Minx). Go read those books again if you didn't realize that!

So angry men out there, trying to bully others for power, you can't use shrooms to learn sorcery. That was Little Smoke, not the shrooms.

And Little Smoke is in Argentina. A favorite country of Carlos. Miles and Aerin are there too.

Even if you imagine or pretend your own ally, totally stoned on shrooms, you aren't going to learn Olmec sorcery from it.

Lily's lessons turned out to be as mysterious as the orange zone itself, where "Seeing" and "Silent Knowledge" become available.

Lily must have taught me 6 ways to "leave the darkroom" so far.

One gives entry to the "World of the Brujos". They're still in there!

Haven't seen the angry female ones though. Don Juan's "benefactor" warned against those...

Each technique from Lily is

The Dawn of Everything

Maybe better put, \"The Downfall of Magic\"?

Some quotes from the Atlantic magazine review of this book, which go along with what I theorized after hearing both Carlos and don Juan believed our sorcery was 10,000 years old. And Olmec.

And then researching, finding that the Olmecs had large 5000 year old cities which have been excavated, but the statues and figurines had ethnic qualities different from surrounding populations of Clovis Mesoamerican ancestors.

The caves along the east coast of Mexico, also the location of their largest cities, had the remains of people going back as far as 30,000 years ago.

Turns out, in addition to that land mass crossing Clovis people, there was a Siberian ship crash landed in the Americas 13,000 years ago. And that's a recent find.

There's bound to be more.

The Siberians had a form of shamanism people often compare to Castaneda's works. To Olmec shamanism.

I arrived at the theory that agriculture destroyed magic because it created the idea that children must stick with a nuclear family (for free farm labor). They didn't help anyone by wandering around like their ancestors.

Once stuck in a farm situation, the women exerted more control over the men. Without the knowledge they had from their fishing and gatherings, which included container making, non-meat food sourcing (seeds, berries) and use of plants as medicine, the women lost much of their "worth".

When they got old, they needed rules to force others to protect them.

To "keep granny from having to eat cat food".

Before agriculture, the worth of women was enormous. They formed associations with other women, and shared knowledge coveted by the younger people. They didn't need any strength advantage to flourish in that form of sociaty.

After agriculture they became "expendable", and so they created social rules designed to control the men.

Surplus food lead to people who didn't even create their own, living in cities, with even less connection to the land. People spent their lives in "rooms".

That created depression, fear of death, fear of darkness, and all the things that make humans gullible, and subject to con artist religious figures.

The large cities gave rise to money and book deals (religious con artists).

Instead of roaming the wilds, in search of magic and understanding, "magic" because something you ha

Mami Wata and Dan

#Hybrdization? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsKkijXZin4

False hybridization abudctions. It's important to show this clip because it shows that Mami Wata existed thousands of years ago. It doesn't just represent female spirits, but also male spirits. And it can very well lead to the identity of the male malevolent spirit residing in the astral plane.

#Ilkai and Papua New Guinea Mermaids

>In Papua New Guinea, there is a legend about the mythical Ri or Ilkai, sometimes known as a Pishmary (meaning fish woman): a human-like sea creature that resembles the European mermaid.

>In nearly every coastal seafaring there are stories of mermaid. Now, I think this is more than a coincidence. For example, in Manus, Papua New Guinea (PNG), there are stories of people descending from mermaids who mated with land dwellers.

#Mami Wata

Solwara was a failed mining project off the cost of Papua New Guinea. Solwara can be a name used for Mami Wata.

>For example, Mami Wata is often portrayed holding a serpent or snake whereas Mamba Muntu is displayed with crocodiles, some are found in lakes and rivers while others in seas and oceans.

>Mamba is said to have arms similar to those of the lobster, a fish-like tail and its head has a very humanoid appearance. Natives from the Congo stated that the Mamba Mutu likes to feed on the blood of children.

>Mamba Mutu originates from the Swahili (Bantu) mamba mtu (β€œcrocodile man”).

#Crocodile Man

>The Chambri Tribe of Papua New Guinea, also known as the Crocodile Men, believe that people descended from prehistoric river predators and that the species is consequently revered. Every 4- 5 years, they perform a scarification rite to honor this treasured animal.

>Elders cut deeply into their backs, chests, and buttocks to make the skin appear scaly, like that of a crocodile, to help them transition from boy to man.

https://www.mcebiscoo.com/the-chambri-tribe-crocodile-men-of-papua-new-guinea/

They have a creation story with crocodiles.

>The chief explained, in pidgin English, his tribe’s creation story of how a girl had been carried into the river by the crocodile and later gave birth to the crocodile people. Other legends tell of men living with crocodiles to learn the secrets of their power.

The Olmecs also revered the crocodile god that was also seen as a goddess. So you have a man seen as a woman.

A case for the Jaguar as a native animal of the United States.

Historically, Jaguars are known to have inhabited the states of California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Louisiana. By the late 1800’s, they were extirpated from Louisiana and California. As of the 1960’s, with the killings of a male and female in Arizona, they were considered to have been extirpated from the country. Since then, a few Jaguars are known to have crossed the border, and such cases are becoming more frequent. Due to the elusiveness of Jaguars and the vast habitat available, it is likely that some have gone undetected. However, this is just a shadow of their former presence. Following are a collection of witness accounts, artifacts, and fossil records demonstrating the presence of Panthera onca across the USA. Some of this information is difficult or impossible to verify. This is mainly because of the time frame, as well as there being little freely available published work on the topic. I have tried to emphasize accounts in which the witness is known, but have also included brief mentions of others I have come across. I’m posting this to give others a starting point in their own research, and to encourage discussion about the past, present, and future of Jaguars in North America. I have put this together on mobile, so I apologize in advance for any formatting issues. Let’s start with a brief look into the Pleistocene.

The fossil record of the Jaguar in North America dates back 130,00 years, while their presence on the continent is thought to be much older, at least 500,000, but possibly in the range of 1.5-2 million years. Fossils are known from many sites in the USA, ranging from Whitman County, Washington in the northwest, to Port Kennedy, Pennsylvania in the northeast. They are most common in Florida and eastern Tennessee, where numerous caves with fossil remains and footprints have been found. Fossils in Florida suggest they were still present between 7-8,000 years ago.

In the east, Jaguar fossils are often found alongside those of the Dire Wolf, Tapir, lamine camelids, Horse, Peccary, Whitetail Deer, Stag-Moose, Ground Sloth, Mastodon, Black Bear, and the Florida Spectacled Bear. At both Bell Cave in Alabama and Baker Bluff in Tennessee, their fossils were found together with those of Caribou - suggesting that they lived alongside each other, though dating has not confirmed that they were present at the same times. This, along with their presence in the southernmost reaches of South America through the Pleistocene and into histo

SERIOUS: This subreddit needs to understand what a "dad joke" really means.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
