A list of puns related to "Olive, the Other Reindeer"
"Olive the Other Reindeer" was a fairly big deal in 1999 (as anyone who stepped into a Nordstrom that year could attest). It used to be played on TV at least once during December (usually on Cartoon Network) but I don't think it has aired since at least 2015 and it isn't on Netflix or on demand. I'd like to see it broadcast again. Who agrees?
You know how the song goes.
"Olive, the other reindeer, used to laugh and call him names..."
Don't really post so bare with me if theres mistakes. English is also my second language so expect punctuation and spelling errors. I followed along r/M635_Guy recent post layout as it gets right down to it.

Background I have been wanting a pair of Viberg boots for a while now but surprisingly nothing really stood out for me until now. Not a big spender so I need to love what I am buying from the start and these boots finally were enough to pull the trigger.
Ordered them Sunday and they were shipped out express Tuesday making their way to me Thursday so not bad, especially with holiday shipping rush.
Makeup and Materials Details:
"The Derby Boot is a simplified reinterpretation of our Service Boot pattern. We removed the counter panel and replaced it with a narrow backstay. The seams of the quarters feature French Binding for the first time on a Viberg product. This is a classic lace-up ankle boot in it's most essential form.
Please note that this is a traditional vegetable-tanned, uncorrected leather and as such exhibits noticeable inconsistencies in colour and texture. This is characteristic of the material and is not considered a flaw."

Packaging Black Viberg shoebox, both shoes individually plastic wrapped and inside single Viberg shoe bag. Came with couple laces, polishing cloth and a 1oz bottle of Venetian Cream.
Out-of-box thoughts: Check out photos as I just took them then. I was in love. Weird texture and color is a bit more green but its stated before you purchase, "Please note that this is a traditional vegetable-tanned, uncorrected leather and as such exhibits noticeable inconsistencies in colour and texture. This is characteristic of the material and is not considered a flaw.".
Build & Quality Amazing quality. No chips anywhere, loose stitching or any of that.
Fit I was a bit worried about buying the correct size as I never tr

There's no room for coddling. You want to be on Comet's Crew, you have to bring the fucking THUNDER. Not a cute little red nose.
If you can't take a little shit from Dancer and Donner, how are you gonna keep your cool after Santa's a 12 pack in and swinging that whip like Indiana Jones raiding the lost ark?
If I had to choose between Rudolph's well-being and my 1985 life-changing gift from Santa, I'm taking Teddy Ruxpin 100% of the time, every time.
In conclusion, buck up you shiny nosed son of a bitch.
Ever notice how people defend popular culture classics like they are a religion? With the She-Ra movie, Ghost Busters girl power reboot, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot, and other forms of culture endlessly recycling, people never run out of ways to shit on the present and idealize the past. No doubt about it, making fun of old school popular culture can be fun. It shows how we have changed as a society. Unfortunately, many people who criticize this culture do so in extreme ways. That gives reactionaries all the ammo in the world
There's a Huffpost tweet and article about how the Christmas movie Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer has some serious plot holes and a frankly messed up message. Santa is basically a big prick and no one cares about Rudolph until he can save them. Isn't Christmas supposed to be about loving everyone? Unfortunately, all the fun criticism was drowned out when a few leftists may or may not have noticed homophobia and other forms of discrimination. One Twitter user put a big smile on the faces of conservatives when he tweeted,
>Yearly reminder that #Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer is a parable on racism & homophobia w/ Santa as a bigoted exploitative prick
Maybe the movie has racism and homophobia in it, maybe it doesn't. Point is, this was music to the ears of people like Dave Rubin and Tucker Carlson. In an interview with Tucker Carlson of Fox News on the subject, Rubin pontificated this screed:
>It's so much easier to destroy than create. If you are watching Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and think that it's about racism and misogyny and the patriarchy and the rest of it, well, you could find that stuff everywhere....they'll move onto everything else that we love. They'll move on to Seinfeld...they've gone for Bugs Bunny...think of something you've loved that has a sense of peace and decency, and they'll link it to the patriarchy or the rest of the politically correct nonsense.
Slippery slope. First they came for the Christmas Classics.... Next thing you know, you're in a gender gulag. Rubin doubled down on the bullshit and delivered this prophecy of liberal dystopia:
>There are things in this cou
